My grandma was adopted from one of these places over 70 years ago. There is no record on her and many other children. I would love to know where she was from, if she had siblings, and I could have more family out there. But unfortunately, their records are so shady that there basically are none. She would never talk about before she was adopted. Would always say while watching Annie "That's what it was like back then..." and believed all children were a blessing. I would like to know more before it's too late to find out. Have thought about a DNA test but idk if anything would come up due to lack of records.

    I pray for the victims.
Those poor children grew up without love, being used and abused.
Such a bad start in life.
God bless them and help them heal

I would never live in apartments that are rife with the pain and horror of abused children. That is inviting bad Karma into your life. That building should be burned.

I’m curious as to what “discipline” was then?
What exactly was required to get “discipline?”
