I used to go watch tribe a lot around like 04 to 08 or something like that (blurry years), but this was always my fav album of theirs and even without the full original band, when i came across this right now....it brought tears to my eyes.....thanks tribe.
Me too ! Seen tribe on the rocks from 04-11. Moved away for 10 yrs but came back to see this sts9 weekend run for the 1st time in yrs! They absolutley melted my mind! It was simple BEAUTIFUL! One for the books for me and near to my heart.

Recently just discovered STS9 on the back of Dopapod. I’ve watched everything available on here and just LOVE it!! Such a tight band with every member great at their craft, such delicacy as they play mellow and banging when the big chooooons come out!!
Sittin in my bathtub watching this during covid. Just a heads up, if it feels like they're holding back and letting things build for the first half hour...its because they are. Thank you STS9 for this. Artifact is a legendary album, and absolutely one of my favorites. (Also, if I could see Tauk play Sir Nebula live, well...that would also be legendary. I saw them open for Umphrees McGee at Red Rocks and their energy was unreal)
Artifact is the greatest album of all time and sts9 is the greatest grouo of dudes who ever got together to make noise. Stop playing. Better than the eagles. Better than the beatles. Better than umphreys!!!
after years of listening. this set was the perfect first Tribe red rocks.. haven’t missed one since. Today is probably my favorite track. all so beautiful from the start though. by the morning sun
Similiar experience. First tribe show was like 09 all good I believe, but I had a spiritual experience waking up meditating one day in rehab while in detox listening to today off the studio album... A couple months later they announced they were playing artifact in its entirety for first night. That was my first show ever at red rocks and I have not missed tribe at rocks since. Much love !
