I cant live without The Harry Potter series. I don't reread books often but I have continuously reread HP since the first time. ☕️
Harry Potter truly shaped who I was growing up (11 year old me is still sad I didn’t get a letter) completely understand this decision ❤️❤️❤️
I agree! Nobody speaks about Harry Potter anymore!❤
I can’t live without mine either ! I have read the series 3-4 times now. They are so worn out, I’m actually afraid to reread them as physical copies. 😂 I did find them on Kindle Unlimited, so that made me very happy if I need a familiar read.
Me too. Harry Potter will always have a special place for me.
Yes me too, I love rereading HP every year. Best books ever ❤
This was such a delight lexi 💐☕
One book that I would save from the fire would definately be harry potter in general and one book that I would keep for the rest of my life in terms of reading experience is The book Thief.
Excellent choices!
If my house were burning and I could only rescue one- Old Sadie and the Christmas Bear.
My mom read to me while I sat on her lap every Christmas as a kid. It took years to get my hands on a copy
I DNFed Bunny. Just couldn't get into it. Extremely weird!!! There are so many who liked the book and others hated it. Love your bookshelf tours!!!!💖💖💖💖☕☕
☕️ ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
My grandma had the most beautiful book shelves and statues in her house. After she passed, I didn’t want anything but a few books I remembered from her house and a statue I always thought was her when I was a kid. The books are these stunning, highly-decorative tomes, and the statue is a Greek-style statue. I totally get where you are coming from in just holding a book to feel like they are close. I will touch the spine, take the book down, browse the pages, or stare at the statue when I miss her. She believed in guardian angels too, so if anyone is needing someone to look after them, my grandma would love to be that for you. 💜
I’m rereading the Harry Potter series after 20 yrs! I’m here for the cozy vibes!
I think I initially found you through a bookshelf tour a couple of years ago! I saw the shelves and aesthetic of the channel, heard your humor, and I was locked in forever. I imagine you’ll bring in even more subscribers with this updated shelf tour, as you deserve!
Can’t wait to watch this! Now I'm going to make some tea ☕️ Btw did you watch movie Autumn in New York?
Not yet! But I hope you enjoy your teaaaa❤❤❤
Oh my goddess, I ADORE that beginning, Lexi! Sooo excited for this! Your confidence and growth throughout these years have skyrocketed, and we are LIVING for it!
Awww thank you Dolly!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
☕️ The books I would save in a fire are my signed first editions of The Books of Blood by Clive Barker. I love them.
I met my husband when I was in university and we worked in a bookstore together. We have a lot of books. He collects first edition Sherlock Holmes and other antiquarian books, so we have had to get insurance just for all the books (he has some worth thousands each). We have saved pictures and a description list to the cloud in case anything ever happens.
I love the bookshelves with the ladder! Such cozy vibes ☕️
I cannot live without the Harry Potter series. These books came out when I was 9 and they are the reason I love to read. I try to reread them every other year or so to keep the magic alive and when I’m in a reading slump as a way to kind of remind myself why I love to read and visit new worlds ☕️
I can’t live without Harry Potter series I don’t reread books that often but I have continuously reread HO since the first time xoxo 😚 🎃🤎❤️🤎🍃🍃🎃🎃❤️🍁🍁📖📖📚📖❤️🤎🎃🍃👻👻🍃🤎❤️🍁🍁📖📚📖📙📙📙👻👻🍃🤎❤️🤎🎃🍃👻👻🤎🤎❤️🍁🍁📖📖📖❤️🤎🎃🍃🍃👻📙📙👻👻🍃🎃🤎❤️🍁❤️🤎🍁🍁🍁📖📚🤎🎃🍃🍃👻📙📙🍃🎃🤎❤️🍁🍁📚📖📖
☕️ I have a few books that I would try and save. They are: Harry Potter, Ninth House series, Mastering the Art of French Murder, and my Skeletion Creek series.
Dear you NEED to read Lockwood and Co series. Its perfect for you i promise!
You’re so right I really do!!!
Omg the Lockwood & Co. shoutout! Love this series 💙⚔️
Honestly… the hunger games! The first book I read because I wanted to and not Bc I had to and will always love it!!
Oohhhhh dang I’d probably say Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. . . or Doctor Sleep
I would save The Secret History. Its my favorite novel, and I have read it so many times, its in tatters. I have loved it since 1994. Its the novel I could read again and again until I die. I love your library, and I love that your reading is so varied. So many booktubers read only fantasy, and while I love fantasy (not high fantasy, for some reason), I think you should read a lot of genres.
Ooo and what a perfect read for the upcoming fall season too!
My Harry Potter books, they saved me so many times, they are my comfort books ❤️. And 100 years of solitude, my fav book. ☕️.
I love your book shelves so much!!! Do you just spend hours looking at them! So book I would save is a toss up between my childhood books. Maybe Little Bear or my Little Golden Books! ☕️
Omg LITTLE BEAR!! I was obsessed with that show when I was little yes!!
My favourite book up until last year was The Beach by Alex Garland but then I finally read Anne of Green Gables (having started it several times as a child) - I loved it and would have really loved it 38 years ago so that would be the one I would save - it’s of an age but so charming and feel good, lots in there to make you smile 😊
I'm 46 and I finally read Anne of Green Gables over summer...loved it..i read certain parts again every now and then cause I adored it so much.
One book?! I don't think I can 😱
☕ I would need at least one for every mood I'm in, but I love rereading Harry Potter (HBP is my favourite) and I never get bored.
My book would be Dracula. That book means so much to me. ☕️
As a 30 year old Brit, I am mortified to say I've only just started reading HP this year 🫠
Omg that intro is the best!! Love it! Bookshelves are gorgeous!! You’re the real life Belle!!
The one book I would have to save from a fire has to be 84 Charing Cross Road. That is the book that got me into reading Books about Books, into collecting books, and into bibliography. I have read this book numerous times. Watched the movie numerous times. Brilliant Book. Most of Helene Hanff's other books are great reads as well, but this one was the FIRST ONE!!!
Your bookshelves are goals. The ladder and everything 😮❤
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke!!
Definitely my Harry Potter series. I have had them since each book released. ☕️
I just love your bookshelves 😍 I told my kids when it's just me, I will have bookshelves in every room 🤣💀😂
☕️ If I could only save one book, it would be Rebecca by Du Maurier❤this books has been a favorite of mine since high school.
I read Rebecca in high school and I have loved it ever since. When people ask me what's your favorite book my answer is always Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier. So I truly get you!
The one book that I can't live without would have to be Anne of Green Gables, which was a big inspiration for me in my childhood, with the character of Anne speaking to my soul. A book that I would save from a fire would have to be my dad's childhood copy of the Lord of the Rings which he read the entirety of to my and my younger sisters when we were growing up. Thank you so much for this lovely video! 💕☕
SO EXCITED!! Xoxo 😚 🤎❤️🤎🍃🎃👻🎃🤎❤️🤎🎃👻👻👻🍃🤎❤️🤎🎃🎃❤️🍁📚📚📚📖📖📙📙📙📖📚📚🍁❤️🤎🍃👻👻👻🎃🍃🤎❤️❤️🍁📚📚🍁❤️🤎🍃🎃👻👻👻🎃🤎❤️❤️🍁📚📚❤️🤎🍃🎃📙📖📖📖

save in a fire - the Harry Potter series.... the book I couldn't live without? Anne of Green Gables. ( honestly - that whole series too ) ☕🫖
Lexi you are surrounded by treasures , wow I want a library like yours ☕️
Every time you make a new library tour, I'm always so impressed!! You make them all so unique and stunning in different ways every time!!! love your channel
Happy Labor Day weekend Lexie hope you are having a great weekend xoxo 😚 🤎👻📚📚👻👻🍁🍁🍃🍃📖📖📙📖🎃🎃❤️🍁📚📚📚🍁❤️📙📖📖🍃🍃❤️❤️📚🤎🤎🤎🤎📚📚🍁❤️📙📖📖❤️🍁📚📚📚📚📚🤎🤎🤎📚📚📚📚🍁🍁❤️🍁📚📚🤬📙📖📖❤️🍁🍁❤️❤️
Love the tour! I just love looking at other people's bookshelves. A book I can't live without is The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher - this story always moves me to want to write. Saving one book from a fire, that would be a family cookbook that was put together when my great-grandmother passed away. This has her recipes, my grandmother and her sisters' recipes, recipes from my mom and aunt. I was too young to have any in there, but I have notes on recipes I have tried and made my own. I would hate if all that was lost. ☕🦊
Hi Beautiful Alexi! I enjoyed this! These books sound great, I especially like the front covers. They look really good!
You have most gorgeous library ever Lexie biggest one and absolutely amazing magnificent magical and so beautiful love it so much xoxo 😚 📚❤️❤️❤️📚🤎🤎📚🍁❤️🍁🍃🍃🎃👻👻🤎🤎📖📖📖📚❤️🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🎃🎃📖📖📖📙📙📖🤎🍁❤️❤️❤️🍁📚🤎🤎📚❤️❤️🍃🍃👻👻👻🎃🍃🍃❤️❤️🍁🤎📖📖📖📖📙📙📖🤎🍁🍁🍁📚
Ooo hard question... I'd say I can't live without My cousin Rachel by Daphne Du Maurier ☕
Ahhhhhhh bookshelf goaaals 🩵🩵🩵
I am 46 and I grew up reading Sweet Valley Twins, The Babysitters Club, Judy Blumes books Otherwise Known as Shelia The Great, Are You There God it's me Margaret, Superfudge..such Nostalgia. Now I read Murder She Wrote series, Cottage Tale mystery series by Susan Witt Albeit Beatrix Potter solves mystery in her town and there is a side mystery going on with her animals, Tea Shop mysteries by Laura Child's and Lady Emily mysteries by Tasha Alexander set in 1904, Ellery Adams series Storyton Hall. I usually stick to my series but I do stray to some Disney books. One book I couldn't live with out would be Rebecca Daphne DuMaurier.
Okay, so I realize you posted this five months ago, but I'm answering your question anyways. It's a two way tie between Jurassic Park by Michal Crichton and, on the completely opposite end of the spectrum, a historical romance called The Care and Feeding of Pirates by Jennifer Ashley lol.
1 book.... honestly it would probably be 'Glass Houses' the 1st book in the Morganville Vampire Series by Rachel Caine. Just because it means so much to me. ❤
You love dragons? Have you read FOURTH WING yet? Wonderful book and you really get into the minds of dragons. Love your videos. ❤
Jeff Vandermeer? Oof. If I was looking for a weird fiction blind date for you I'd go with Catherynne M Valente (the Glasstown Game) or Ted Chiang. Probably skip China Mieville too. Love the ones that love you back ❤
For me it would be a hard decision to pick just one book! I guess right now I’d have to say Vertical Run … if you haven’t read it you really really should. ☕️ I was wondering if you know how many books you own? They say that in order for it to truly be a library it needs 1,000 books. Just curious 🧐 as always I enjoyed you video! ❤️
Am I allowed to pick a series? Because that would be the Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. But if it has to be a stand alone... It would be These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer 💛 ☕
Hi Lexi! You have a beautiful collection. Love your bookshelves. I have an old hardbound copy of Little Women that my late boss gifted me years ago. That is my most prized book
Save one book from a fire: Even though the question was only one book, I'm changing it to a series. and that is the Wayward Children series
One Book I can't live without: This was so hard!!!!! I would have to say currently Little Women-because it's my mom's favorite edition with illustrations and it means so much to her
One book I couldn't live without in my current collection would be The Watchers by Dean Koontz. It is my all-time favorite book that I have read multiple times even though I am not a rereader. It's outside my norm, but I love the storyline and the creativity. ☕️
I find Dean Koontz very easy to read. I prefer his older ones.
Any suggestions for middle grade horror/mystery with a cute romance subplot? (I recently read and love What Lives in the Woods, so something like that 🤗)
The Shining and not just any old copy but The Cemetery Dance edition☕️
Love your videos, they’re so helpful! Do you have any recommendations for best fairy tale retellings?
Has anyone read The Dragonlance Chronicles? I’m a bit older, so these were my equivalent of the Harry Potter series.
I love how you recommend a book from each section! And the shelves are gorgeous! I was in dire need of a feel good bookish video. Thanks Lexi!! 🥰
Those bookshelves! I’ve been searching around for shelf inspo and it’s so hard to find anyone who doesn’t use those sterile/boring white ikea shelves. Books are reminiscent of a warm, rustic hobbit hole type vibe & I think the best way to showcase them is with rich wood tones. I love the ladder too, my dream is to have a bookshelf ladder one day 😭
I'm currently reading Piranesi and I must say: it's quite the trip :D
I agree with everything everyone has been saying except for those mentioning books they'd save because I have not read those yet.
Your library is amazing! I would love to have those shelves!!!
I'm hoping I never go through a fire in my apartment because I have too many books to save. I can't pick just one because they cost me a lot of money I spent a lot of time saving and don't have money to just throw away like that or to buy these books again so I would rather not have to think about fires, although living in a building full of mentally ill people, I think I should start planning fast.
I hope you have an amazing month!! I'm exercising now and Sunday is gonna be one of my only off days so I will be able to see your videos when they get posted which makes me happy.
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton would be that book that I could not live without.
Love this! Your bookshelves are stunning😍
If i have to save only one book from my collection it's my 30th anniversary edition of The Secret History that was a birthday gift
I read The Ocean At The End Of The Lane on your recommendation and I can never thank you enough for it!! I loved that book so so much!! So then I read Piranesi and oh my did it blew my mind!! That was when I knew that I can trust you with book recommendations with my eyes closed!! Thank you thank you so much Lexi for creating this beautiful space!! Much love!!
I may be the only person who didn’t absolutely love Evelyn Hugo.
Omg books are the most special things 🥰📚I couldn't live without Circe by Madeline Miller -- I loved Song of Achilles, but I related to Circe more and enjoyed being with all the feels that book put out
☕️ I would grab How To Walk Away by Katherine Center if there was a fire.
The website listed for the shelf with a latter is not transpiring as what you the ink - unless I’m wrong , which that’s fine but I did not see any print on how much the stairs for the shelves cost! I know you were not pushing it as a sell , but .. so sorry had yours a discount ?
Love the format of this tour! (Yet another sign I need to read Pillars of the Earth, you must have at least a thousand books and that's one of the ones you deem worthy of pointing out) ☕
i didn't like ready player one 😁 couldn't finish it, i found it really boring
I absolutely love your shelves, Lexi! Especially the one with the classics and the tbr shelves are gorgeous 😍
That is a very cruel question. I can’t choose!!! ☕️
I can't live without Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie ☕️
What a way to start my evening..!!! Your timing is Impeccable to post.. 😍❣️
Aw yay!!!
You look lovely, Lexi. This haircut suits you really well and brown is definitely your colour. Your bookshelves are pretty amazing ☕
That is such a hard question I don’t know 🤷♀️
I just noticed your name, i named my daughter Alexandra Rose.
I would save To Kill A Mockingbird ☕️
My dream library.. Spectacular on so many levels..well done little Dudette
Thank youuuu❤❤❤❤
What is middle grade ? I hear it often and I don’t understand
I think I’m the only person alive who hates it he picture of Dorian grey lol
I have that little dragon with a book. I got it from amazon. There`s more on there.
Lovely library set up! 📚☕🎃🍂🍁🥧🦇👻🕷️☠️🧛🧙🧚
The book for me would be Thistlefoot, my favourite of all time❤
Where did you get your hat?? My daughter wants one so much!
I'm gonna have to save Red, White & Royal Blue
I’d save my copy of Loveless in a fire. It means the world to me.
☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
☕
I was watching your old fall videos and the notification arrived.. omg this is just amazing girl . I love all your videos ❤
Thank you so much!!❤❤❤ I can’t wait for fall im SO HAPPY ITS HEREEE
Emma is my favorite Jane Austen novel too!
Pls do a collection of your book of the month book
I’d save The House in the Cerulean Sea ❤
ThanksMuch! Alexandra!!!
Nevermoor is my current read. :) ;)
Normal People for me, was the worst book ever.
I have no idea what book I would save. ☕
Where did you buy your bookcases??
Your collection = my goals 😍
