BNSF 1115 H1 Leader in San Diego + (AMTK 57 Bonus Shot)

  • Last night BNSF 1115 and a CSX motor powered the V-SBDSDG auto racks into San Diego. I caught it passing thru Sorrento Valley at around 1am.
    I also included a throwback P42DC #57 clip from 2020. Recently the AMTK 57 was involved in a wreck leading the Texas Eagle and my guess is it'll be scrapped or in remission for a long time especially cause of the new ALC-42's hitting the rails. The hybrid K5LA it once had is one the best hybrids I've heard!

    AMTK 57 got a RL K5LA in early 2023 for litterally no reason. So it wouldn't have that Hybird even if it was still running. I personally think it's hybrid K5LA was the best on Amtrak.

      Ya I was aware of the garbage RL it had before the crash... yep it was one of the better hybrids I had ever heard
