I understand that the RadioShack 12-258 doesn't have "Immediate Evacuation" as one of its codes, but I wanted to show what it would look like if it did.
I would shit myself if i heard that on my radios💀
Tornado shelters being ripped from the ground is absolutely wild

5:56 SEVERE THUNDERSTORM EMERGENCY FOR THE GREATER METROPLEX
As a weather nerd and OKC resident, there are two mistakes within that one sentence alone. First, severe thunderstorm emergencies do not exist. Closest to that is a destructive severe thunderstorm warning, which is read like a normal severe thunderstorm warning with the following text as one of the lines in it: "THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR [CITY/CITIES]. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION! SEEK SHELTER NOW!" and then the hazards and rest of the warning are read.
Now for the second mistake: OKC is not a metroplex. For a metro area to be considered a metroplex, there must be at least 2 cities that are close to each other, share industries, employment markets, services, and resources, as well as having connected infrastructure and high population density. By this definition of a metroplex, OKC is not a metroplex.
Other than those two things: the video is great
That's fair. I wanted to imagine what it would be like if severe thunderstorm emergencies did exist within the National Weather Service, but I actually didn't know that OKC is not a metroplex, so thanks.
Amazing scenario! However, Severe Thunderstorm Emergencies do NOT exist. *The used equivalent would be "THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM/DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR [AFFECTED AREA/AREAS]."*
Other than that, great scenario!
This might be the most amazing EAS mock I’ve ever seen!
This actually feels real, when I was in 7th grade I made stuff like this.
I gotta say thats really good how you did it for how few viewers you have. Great job.
Paul kinda sounds like Tom.
