I have tons of stuff to open and review tons of SHF Ultraman figures, Flame Toys Megazord and transformers, CCS Toys super robots, Heat Boys TMNT figures, shmas, a bunch of other stuff.
@titan133760 then explain iris and shimo....those 2 alone cost nearly 200 bucks if we look at their Japanese prices and convert them to American dollars. Even in Japan the monsterarts line is getting more expensive
I own this figure and I'm happy with it, despite the neck not being able to fully look up and no accessories besides the extra hands. I use pink the Fire Rodan beam and it works well with it.

My first SH Monsterarts figure, and so far, I do like it. The teeth on my copy doesn't look as bad as yours, thankfully. However, my biggest gripe about it is that many of the joints feel too loose for my taste. I really wish that Tamashii Nations didn't use ball joints for all the joints in their SH Monsterarts line
Looking for articulated generic monsters to maybe army build or have as fodder. Any good recommendations that scale well with SHMA or 30 minute missions? Bandai Gashapon bugs, joytoy tyranids, and the rihio Chronsaurus are all I’ve found so far
Compared to the promo shots, the paint really let this figure down. And idk if it's just me but the mold also looks different. I'll be waiting for the Hiya realse to see how it compares

Is it bad that I'm just not a fan of the design? He's kinda giving some Zilla vibes with the shape of the dorsal spines and the slimmed belly. The pink also just isn't doing anything for me. Probably doesn't help that I haven't seen the movie and don't know what context could warrant such a transformation. Something tells me though that if that context is the ape villain, I'll be disappointed.

BUT what I did hear were rumors about MonsterArts planning to fix the eyes and paint apps on the second batch coming around. they did fix the eyes for minus color so who knows, hopefully there’ll be more news in the upcoming weeks until new years. (Hope he doesn’t look like “friendly 🐻“ this time😏)

Are they making any changes to the head sculpt? If they are I will pick it up for sure. The face was the only issue with that figure.
