Is it blurry even when you download a version 2 or 3x the required size? Is it text that is blurry? A photo? If you can share more details, I'll see if I can help.
Hi! Thanks for sharing. I never had this issue prior but I've noticed it more frequent. I tried doubling in size and tripling the size too. The font and the images become blurry. I'm using high quality photos. Is there anything else that can help with this? There are not too many resolutions for this.
So it's definitely something on Meta's side of things then if the image is clear when it's downloaded from Canva. My go to for uploading to IG is usually to double the size (so for the feed I'll use 2160x2700) and download as a PNG... if it's still blurry upon upload, then it sounds like something funky happening on the Instagram side.
i need my design size to be 500px, but when i download it to my phone its become slighly blurry. what should i do? its only in hd when i increase the size before downloading it. thats mean it will not be in 500px anymore right?
In terms of needing the design size to be 500px, does the platform you're trying to add an image to reject the image if it's larger? Sometimes various platforms have a recommended size but as long as you meet that as a minimum, it works alright. If you download a design at 2x, yes it would be 1000px. Is the image blurry on download or just when it's uploaded to the other platform?
Are you talking about RUclips thumbnail images? I find I have to download those as JPG rather than PNG in order to stay within the file size limitations. That said, I typically find that as long as I use 2560x1440 for the YT thumbnail sizing and download as a highest quality JPG, the visual quality is usually pretty good.
EVERYONE DOUBLE THE SIZE SHE TALKS ABOUT IT @ 2:40 thank you so much brenda!
Thanks a lot. I didn't know I could download at a larger size. Once again thank you🎉
You're very welcome! 😊
I’ve done everything! All my photos look amazing on the preview but once I publish it and look at it on my phone it looks awful
What type of image are you trying to download and what dimensions are you downloading it as?
It’s not even the social media sites that distort it. It’s as soon as I download it and send it to my phone it’s a slight blur.

Can you clarify - is it blurry upon download? Or just when you try to upload your design to another platform?
@@BrendaCadman it’s blurry when I upload it to IG.

Thank you so much!!! Seems like doubling the size solves the problem! Once again many thanks!
Happy to help!

I have problem with my portofolio website in canva, the image is seems blurry in mockup, can you give me a solution??
Can you elaborate what you mean by it being blurry in mockup?
Doesn't work for RUclips as the file size is bigger.
