Very intrigued by this one. The teasers were very fever dream-like and darkly immersive. Osgood Perkins' films always maintain a great atmosphere! Can't wait to see what he gives us with this one. Great reaction!

Whether Cage is caught or not-there is a tone, that this might end brutally-much like Se7en.

As Maika is screaming in the car & flashes to another woman, older, screaming-notice *the* *car*
It is the exact…same. Maika knows, knows of, survived or witnessed Cage when she was younger (maybe the “birthday party”-Cage gives Maika a Happy Birthday card-I’m thinking she saw him at that birthday of the pic-when the dad is on the phone w/the police terrified of his own daughter “but it’s not his daughter”
Maika may very well lose, or find out something worse.
Cage is *def* playing the “twisted antagonist” he was so excited for-that he described….as “a *deranged* *Geppeto* “
Think of *that*
& what do we see???
1-Cage is not committing, but IS influencing the murders through the occult-a “Manson” type
2-Cage is seemingly making “puppets”-sick, twisted “puppets”. As he himself said-“a deranged Geppeto”
He’s making puppets out of the victims? He’s making “demonic/occult” puppets that he sends, that influence families to madness
All this-would answer
Why we don’t see Cage committing the murders-least many.
Why we see various “bodies” or “dolls” covered w/a black veil/sheet-like the eerie shot of “one” seated up on the couch, the girl unveils.
I’m damn excited. But there is a strong possibility…not just scary…Maika does not get the upper hand.
Ofc I hope she does-anyone that knows the quote “What’s in the box?! What’s in the F-ING BOX?!” from Se7en…KNOWS I’m not exactly “hoping” for that-he’ll no. But man that made me realize-Maika’s character could be in more serious sh!t in this than we even thought
Been a while since we’ve seen a Se7en/Silence of the Lambs ending…& practically ALL early screenings…this was directly compared to those 2 films in particular
…oh shit-man I can’t wait, but fluff films have made me forget about endings like THOSE-this could be one

Yeah, no more trailers. They have rolled this promo campaign out masterfully enough already. Might be the scariest movie this year.

I'm right there with you. So appreciate the follow. It is tempting to just wait til it comes out on streaming, but I do want to enjoy a few movies in the theater from time to time. I plan to review this movie.

Thats a family member that cage posseses. He possesses family members to off eachother. you should dig deeper into this movie. Only cage is the killer.
