My late husband and I loved to camp he's been gone 22 years now and I still think of those times and wish he could have lived for us to have the life you have, I understand he's in a place I can only dream of already,,but what you do would still be a great life for us too ,keep having a great time for us!!!

Hi Dave, thanks so much - these tents look AWESOME. Thanks for all of the things you showed about the tent, setup, etc. Really get a lot out of your work - outdoor skills, cooking, etc. Enjoy the Spring. Best Paul
Great Video! I really like how you "show" how to do things and not "explain" how to do it. Your deliberate way of setting this tent up is the perfect "how to" manual. You two are like the Ikea assembly instructions for outdoor life. Keep up the good work
I have a UP-2 Hot Tent from Bereg that was delivered all the way from Siberia. Lars at Survival Russia and Lonnie from Far North Bushcraft have alot of videos on these different tents. Very well made. I can turn mine into a sauna with just a different stove top.
Hola te sigo desde Argentina,Me llamo la atención la forma en que manejas el hacha, eso me atrajo para seguirte.gracias por mostrar el manejo en la nieve.
Thank you Dave and Vivian for sharing this amazing video on your new hot tent well done and thank you both for sharing your new tent both enjoy your new tent take care.
This high quality insulated tent and stove could partially solve the homeless problem in the US West Coast cities where local governments spend millions with no apparent effect. Excellent video as usual. Thanks.
Good products from Bereg. I have the UP-2. Great tent. Portable and easy setup. Thinking of purchasing the vestibule add on soon. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. 👍🍻
I’ve been looking at this tent for a couple months now and haven’t seen a lot of videos on it. How was the night in it? How often did you have to add wood to the stove? I really appreciate the video and your insights. Keep the fun content coming!

Thank you for such a great video. Everything is awesome. So great to know if I want to ever go cold weather camping like this. You provide so much helpful information.
Just started watching - Taj Mahal beauty setup. Why suffer I say and just get the best. I bet it’s warmer in this tent rather than your canvas one. FYI I have the 12x12 CLAM screen shelter with zip down windbreak (same pop-up concept). I think it’s easier to setup when you pull out each side and then go inside and pop the roof up.
Hi Dave, its Dave here from Victoria,Great job on this review.First saw Lars & Lonnie using these model tents. Now you & Vivian. Probably the most trusted woodsmen on RUclips. Definitely going into are budget for a newer Winter Setup. Again thanks for such a honest appraisal of this setup.
Love the tent and I have seen several of the youtubers I follow speak in favour of them. Questions: Does the floor seal the tent from water flow due to rain? Would you recommend it for the weather conditions we experience here in NFLD ?
Recently purchased the RBM cuboid 2.20 with the insulated floor and their wood stove. Fantastic hot tent and it truly could a sauna as well lol. These are extremify well designed and built tents and stoves. A lot of people are going to have sticker shock but having used my tent just two times I have zero remorse or regret. I can't wait to trial the vestibule addition and now I have a winter hobby which prior, was basically avoiding winter lol.
Nice.. loved it...the only thing I didn't like about the stove is the chimney is at the front. Placing a kettle/fry pan there would be a chance of burning yourself on the chimney. If the stove was turned around then you would have to feed it from the back end, if sideways then it would be in the doorway..
I never mentioned it in the video but there are doors on each corner of the tent. I just used the back door next to the stove because it was the best for lighting. Thanks for watching ✌️
wow when you showed inside that was quite surprising...the dark outer camouflage gave me the impression it would be dark inside...didnt expect that much light penetration...love the wall opening out feature...a good way to bring all your equipment into the tent rather than squeeze through the D shaped door...
Wow, a 5 * tent for its eometry even becomes more welcoming I hope that in the future new snack dishes will be made that even create water in your mouth, hug
Thanks for the video. Have been looking at these tent, so thanks again. Just wondering though, why did you choose the 8-man over something a little more portable?
For the most part we set up our winter camp for the entire season And leave the tent set up in one location as a base camp and this fit the bill perfect. I am interested in getting a smaller more portable one for use in the summer months. Stay tuned! ✌️
I just bought a stove. Now I need the tent. Been looking at different ones. Including this one. It's a great tent. Thanks for sharing this! Yeah wall tents are more work setting up. 👍
Im 49 yrs old...i have not been camping since i was 13...... my wife and i are just now talking about possibly getting some camping gear...this is cool Brother you sound like you have a very thick northern accent....im guessing Canada???
This looks like a really good tent. You're right about those canvas walls tents, they need 4 people and sometimes a ladder to set up in any amount of reasonable time. That smile at 11:10 :). Only thing I don't like despite all its advantages is the open floor. I hate mice crawling around under my cot, and also makes room for ticks, bedbugs and other undesirables from getting into all of your stuff. I went with a Kodiak for this reason. Now a sauna/steam room capability has peaked my interest..
I'd be concerned with that ice fishing shelter pop up style shelter that snow load for winter camping would be an issue. A support pole for the center would be necessary to keep the roof from collapsing when used for winter base camping. Also the packed size of just under 8' in length makes this shelter harder to transport. The UP5 or UP2 might be a better option for all season use.
It takes a considerable amount of force to pop up the centre roof section of the tent. I don’t see snow load being a problem with collapsing that section due to weight. I do agree that it is a large tent to transport for some Circumstances. I’m interested in trying out a smaller model. Stay tuned for future videos. Thanks for watching✌️
Отличная палатка Российской фирмы "Берег" идеальный вариант для рыбалки и охоты!

👍cool! Hello from Russia. I’m Sergey. As a child I loved to go camping with tents. I really enjoyed watching your videos. ✌🏻take care
Wow Thanks Dave & Vivian For Sharing This Awesome Tent ! ATB T God Bless
Very cool tent! Tents have changed so much since I started camping with my parents in the 60’s. My dad would’ve loved this tent. Enjoy!!!!
I love your honesty regarding your 1st canvas tent and not drying it out properly.
I did same ...
Stuff happens as you learn ...
Survival Lilly got a smaller one of these tents and she loves it too!
Great to have such a big glass in the stove. So good to get the glow of the fire on a cold night.
Great Video! I really like how you "show" how to do things and not "explain" how to do it. Your deliberate way of setting this tent up is the perfect "how to" manual. You two are like the Ikea assembly instructions for outdoor life.

It truly is a great piece of gear. Thanks for watching ✌️
You make such a great couple, I hope you both have a blessed life together 💯🙏🏾
Thank you from a city boy. It's amazing really. You make it look so easy.
Wow, that tent is huge! Another great vid, guys, thank you!

@@upnorthof60 how dose the tent do in summer weather??? Can’t find on RUclipsr say how it dose in summer??

As we Irish say, "Health to enjoy" to you both. I absolutely love how bright it is in the tent. The big question is, did you cook anything in it?
I also prefer function over fashion. In that sense for me, function is a fashion!
Vivian is such a great helper.

I've never thought I would even consider paying north of $1k for a tent until I saw those. The square one with porch mode looks amazing.
Good looking functional tent! Stove has all the bells and whistles!!! Very nice set up. 👍
I was quite surprised how well the tent and stove was built. Thanks for watching
I like the new stove - very decent indeed! the new tent is likewise very cool ...!
That will be very good and brave at that temperature go ahead and do it
Great review! Thanks for putting this up. Was not even aware these tents existed. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for such a great video. Everything is awesome. So great to know if I want to ever go cold weather camping like this. You provide so much helpful information.
We love ours!! Can't wait to try it out in some really cold stuff this winter!!!
C'est magnifique j'adore bonne continuation
I think the tent is amazing. Hope you guys have many good years with it....
Fantastic tent I love watching you guys keep up the great videos x
This is great! I thought it would be super dark inside when I saw the tent , but it’s actually the opposite!
Same, pleasantly surprised how bright it is. Now if only I could convince my wife to hot tent/snow camp....
Great video. Been looking at these. Thanks!
Thanks, they are very well built.
thank you for sharing lot of very usefull info 👍, greetings from France
Best couple camping for me 😊 lots of love from India Nagaland 😘
💯%Absolut Mega Coooool!!!! 👍👍👍💪💪💪
I like how the wall comes out to create an awning and looks like it has a mesh drape you can drop down.
Thanks! Great Video.
Glad to see the tent go up so fast. 👍
Very Nice! the tent is nice as well! Hello from Sachs Harbour.

That looks like a great tent, only question I would have is how does it handle a snow load on a slitely flat dome roof
Lol ... Canvas tent ... $1599 - 1600 ...
Give or take a Loonie ...
Too funny ... loved it!
What an awesome tent!!!
Hi from Syracuse NY USA and thank you for sharing
nice video and super tent amazing easy to use
Yep, bought a 13'x16' canvas/poly wall tent and love it but going to buy this tent for sure. My Winnerwel stove should work great in it. .
The lighting inside is like that of a canvas teepee!

Nice tent! It is also a very good hunting tent! I hope you will enjoy it!
👍 🎥 Excellent tent ! Its a must have. Hell.. I want one for my back yard❤😉
Thank you for making this!! I’ve been trying to research it before I buy and no one makes review videos. You did an amazing job.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if it was a hot tent with the AC port as well.
That's a nice tent. Plenty of room to to enjoy a good Camp.. 👍👍💪💪💪💪💪✌✌

@@upnorthof60 ha.. that makes sense.. nice stove then
Will you show us take down in another video? First time setup is always easiest. Nice system.
I thought the tent would be dark inside because of the camo but it is surprisingly bright! Very nice!
Great presentation and review.
Cheers.
Really fast setup, beautiful tent. It'll be interesting to see how it performs under stressful weather conditions.
Do you think a center pole would be necessary to keep it up during a heavy snow? Seems to me it would collapse under weight.
Que bela barraca um abraço daqui do sul do brasil

I’m just wondering if the tent would hold against harsh winds? Blizzards etc..
Для метелей нужен стационар!
Not for on the move preppers, that thing is a beast!
It would make for a great base camp. They have much smaller tents on their website that would make for a great shelter for peppers on the move.
Is the floor attached to that tent
Beautiful tent it's looking like a house..
Wow, a 5 * tent for its eometry even becomes more welcoming I hope that in the future new snack dishes will be made that even create water in your mouth, hug
Beautiful snow beautiful seen nice couple 😍👌 good tent and all set up I enjoyed your all video s great next part 👌🇵🇰pakistan
Love the new tent
I watch your video from istanbul it's great what you see done, bravo
Dave I assume you can stake it down. I am curious about snow collapsing the roof, unless there is a center pole. Looks to be a great hot tent.
What keeps the tent from blowing away in a wind storm?
How do you stop condensation in the tent?
how storm proof is the tent? Heavy wind, snow or rain?
Have you reviewed the 2-3 man tent? Searching.
So did you stake out that tent or the floor
that is a great setup....
I Love it Love it Love it. Thanks for sharing

I MISS YOU ,GAD BLESS YOU GUYS
That's a nice set-up but how do you stake it to the ground so the wind don't blow it away
