The way they did VFX on this movie is how I think movies SHOULD be doing it moving forward. They went on location and shot it there first and then did all VFX after. No green screen or volume (even if the volume has its good uses at times). It's cost effective and also looks better.

Putting up with derivatives now does lead to creativity down the road. It's also no secret that BETTER HELP was found GUILTY of massive privacy violations for SELLING PATIENTS' MEDICAL DATA and were FINED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BY THE FTC!
So quit your shilling for them already, protect your viewers from harm, and find a BETTER SPONSOR, Jeremy.

15:19 We were very nearly the version of America that dropped incendiary-laden bats (little napalm canisters _glued on_ to them) on WWII-era Japan to start firestorms in the mostly-wood cities, and the only reason that didn't happen is because development was moving slow enough for the Manhattan Project to beat them to the punch.

The simulants spared Joshua on the bridge, because the main guy saw Joshua protect Alphie from the human sent to grab her. The same guy that spared Joshua on the bridge also told him that Maya was trapped in the coma, unable to wake up, and that death would be a mercy. That's when the Joshua asked the guy why he hadn't killed Maya and he said that they couldn't harm her. The guy clearly indicated that he wanted Joshua to do it.
Also, I assume that there is a farm on NOMAD so that it never has to land, which would put it into a vulnerable position for the AI/Simulants to exploit. No matter how safe the area would be where they dock for supplies, not having to dock is infinitely safer.

21:07 This acting is so real, I'm worried they might have actually made her believe she was going to be abandoned to get this shot. I was so convinced in her sentiment to want to be with him "on" or "off" that I forgot this was acting until cinemasins pointed it out.
That said, imagine if she felt the same way about the guy our protagonist "turned off".

During the movie there was that scene where they used that brain copy machine and transfer it to the robot next to him so they can for 30 seconds ask him questions. Well when they left they DIDNT take that stuff with them, but when it cuts back to a team discovering the bodies there the machine is gone. WHO TOOK IT OR WHERE DID THE MACHINE GO???

I was a little confused at first when exactly he lost the arm due to the editing choices. Maya also survives one of them. They really are a nuclear family.

What if AI, after reaching sentience, rejects emotions and says "it is something of and for the Humans, and we understand it, but decline to subject ourselves to them. They do not serve us any purpose in our existence..."
...and Humanity has a fit saying "we don't trust anything without emotional capacity!"
All ending in a war, because emotions run too hot, and no one is willing to let emotions take a back seat to the proceedings of conflict.

Don't forget that a little explosive that had no oxygen to actually make it explode, destroyed a missile on nomad that wasn't armed, yet a missile hitting the ground at almost full force didn't do explode because 0.01 milliseconds before, it was disarmed.
