    Do you think inspector would allow if I went 125% instead of 120%? I have a 200A main breaker and I’m adding an 8.8 kw system which would need a 50A breaker, thanks

      You would have to ask your AHJ but to avoid that conversation I would downsize the main breaker, as long as my load calculation would allow for it.
