I have no words to describe the loss I feel with the passing of our dear Ustad Rashid Khan sahab. His immense talent and contribution to Hindustani Classical music has undoubtedly been phenomenal. There cant ever be another like him and he will be missed for eternity. For me, this is the end of an era of classical music, since I held him in the same standards as Ustad Amir Khan sahab, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan sahab, Pandit Jasraj and Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. I rummaged through my collection of Classical Music DVDs and fortunately found this DVD which I take pride in sharing with the world.
