They clearly have had 100% belief in Sams ability to play this well from the start!
I am sure the organization was hoping for a good season but nothing like this. I can guarantee this won't be an easy decision since Sam Darnold is proving he can be not just the bridge QB but possibly the franchise QB that they need and not have JJ in the future because JJ hasn't thrown a ball in the regular season and who knows how good he will be. We have to see how he recovers mentally from this injury. Maybe Sam won't have to worry about his job because maybe they go as far as the NFC championship. Now that he is exceeding their expectations, this will be hard to decide.
Darnold is only on a 1 year deal, if he continues to play well someone will pay him elsewhere more than Vikings will, they just let Kirk walk
@@beeeza86b67 dude like what kind of comment is this even lol. There is no decision, Sam is a bridge QB regardless of how good or bad he plays this season. KOC has said multiple times JJ is the QB going forward! Also, how can you sit there and speak on behalf of the Vikings saying they were not expecting Sam to have a great season? They clearly have had 100% belief in Sams ability to play this well from the start!
I am sure the organization was hoping for a good season but nothing like this. I can guarantee this won't be an easy decision since Sam Darnold is proving he can be not just the bridge QB but possibly the franchise QB that they need and not have JJ in the future because JJ hasn't thrown a ball in the regular season and who knows how good he will be. We have to see how he recovers mentally from this injury. Maybe Sam won't have to worry about his job because maybe they go as far as the NFC championship. As you can see Bryce Young didn't last as long as others thought. Sam Darnold was 3 years and out of the Jets, Trey lance 2 years and out. They were supposed to be the franchise QB and Jimmy was the bridge QB for Trey. Let's see, this league can make very crazy decisions. For now Sam is QB 1 but let's see next year if JJ will even start.
4-1 rich has a curse ...everytime he has something good to say about the underdog they lose or get injured
The Lions DESTROYED Seattle.
The Vikings did to GB what GB did to the Cowboys in the playoffs.
Remember that game? Cowboys were up like 26-0 by half. At one point Lafleur had the backups in but Dallas stated putting up points and he put the starters back in.
The final score looked "close" but the game was never in doubt.
Anybody else getting hit with these 30 second commercials now on a regular?
Vikes will roll the Jets just like the last 4 opponents...SKOL!
Stephen A. finally got on board the Vikings hype train and put them as the #1 NFL team. You know what that means: they’re definitely going to lose to the Jets on Sunday.
MVP "candidate"? More like MVP frontrunner
Sam and KOC revenge game coming up!
I have one foot on the Vikings bandwagon and one foot on the Commanders bandwagon.
SKOL
Dez Bryan tweeted...incomplete pass refs😂
Wow! Who would of figured a team not paying a qb 20% of the salary can build a deep roster and win. If you pay a qb 50+ million 99% of the losses are on him
And remember when everyone picked Vikings to be last in their division? Like the Bears were gonna have a miracle turnaround, what a joke
Sam Darnold is finally getting his fair shot in the NFL now that he's playing with a team with great offensive weapons & NOT the poor Jets who even with Joe Montana at his prime could make them that much better. SKOL!
JETS DIDNT TREAT KOC OR DARNOLD VERY WELL WHATS UP AARON.
Also the vikings haven't trailed in any game yet ......let's see how the respond trailing in a game
well now what! Seattle was totaled by Detroit... really. the score did not show how really dominate Detroit was over Seattle but they were.
they are going to destroy the jets.
That win against the Packers gave me chills of 2022, disappointing win.
We’ve only trailed for 3 minutes all season.
We needed SOME sort of adversity. Now you can be sure that we will NEVER take our foot off the gas no matter what the score is.
The end result is a Win, and it’s a win for the players and coaches too. Think of it as a free lesson
I almost feel sorry for whiners like this that are "disappointed" from winning. Like how bad do u got it irl, that lead you down this path?
@srobeck77 we all have different opinions, it makes the world interesting, your whining about my "whinig" is noted
@@bluethundar ok, I think understand your particular situation. You're not self-aware and have surrounded yourself by those with neutral opinions, aka beta males. So yes, you're definitely whining about the past. Get over it and move on with your life. Be the change you wish to see and embrace alpha.
I have to ask, lets assume he keeps playing like this, lets say vikings end the season in the 10-7/11-6 area, what happens to jj mcarthy, like Minnesota wouldnbe stupid to dumb a breakout darnold for a still developing jj right
Garbage time TD and a muffed punt, Packers got their a** kicked
My Vikings are going to make the Jets look like a JV team! Rodgers is 40 and washed on 2 bad legs. Foh
They nearly lost a 28 point lead
@@MyChannel-ol1zz nearly dont count and never has, fella
@@srobeck77 Not a good look for the defense
@@MyChannel-ol1zz it would have "looked" better if they lost or won?
@@srobeck77 It’s good they won, but the offense gotta keep their foot on the pedal the whole game
Skol
PAckers are fraudulent couldnt beat any good team smh
I wouldnt go that far. Not when they only lost by 3 to the Vikes.
@@srobeck77Refs kinda helped that score.
@@srobeck77 7 points came off a muffed punt by minnesota and another 7 against prevent defense --> 15 real points scored.
To put it in other words. The Vikings had 6-7 great offensive drives while GB only had 1-2 really good drives on offense.
Flores shut them out for 3 QTRS (Fluke muffed punt doesnt count) and thus all the packers did is score in garbage time.
The Jets have the worst offensive line in the nfl... the vikings are going to win this game by at least 2 scores
I could see the Vikings getting their first loss against the Lions. Lions are a good team and destroyed the Seahawks putting up 42 points. But since it's a rival game, we'll see what happens. It can go either way. But I highly doubt Vikings will go undefeated. And if the Vikings lose to Jets then prepare for the shitstorm that will come and everyone saying Darnold is back to his old self
He says um a lot😊
He's saying UM translation GoBLue!
Not everyone is a polished public speaker
So does Mahomes. They’re football players, not trained public speakers. He actually says a few things with substance, unlike most of them
Prolly need to get a hobby or 2 instead of hyper focusing on non-sense like this
Ummm what
Let's be honest sam darnold also has at least 1 turnover in all 4 games as well. Don't get me wrong Sam is playing the best football of his career but he still isn't taking care of the football and that's not a good recipe to win in the NFL
Vikings arent for real. I promise you we need to let the season play out before over reacting to fluke wins and losses.
Packers are much better than their record and should be 4-0. Vikings are much worse than their record and should be 2-2. As the season goes on, this prediction will prove to be true. You will see the packers rise and vikings and lions fall. Packers are for real, and I guarantee they are the best team in the NFC.
He says um because he's the master at not offending anyone especially the league he shills for.
I love the guy but he's bought and paid for.
Tf are you talking about?
@Dwayne, what an absurd and idiotic thing to say. Care to elaborate? I’m guessing you won’t.
His personality tends toward the quiet and modest … the type of person who prefers to let his actions speak for him. Standing up in front of sports reporters who’re trying to generate copy to attract eyeballs is not something he looks too comfortable with. But he knows it’s expected, so he gives it his best shot. I don’t find the ums distracting. I’m glad to see him get some positive recognition.
@DwayneAyles-tc3dv so in typical hypocrite fashion, you mean to tell us that you go to work each day for free or are you also "bought and paid" for?
