My Nexon EV Max gives me 1) average 350+ Km range. I don't compromise at all on speed more than 80, heavy traffic, heavy load in the car, ventilated seats on and AC on. 2) At times it gives me range of 380 Km and even more than 380 Km if there is no traffic, less load in the car, AC is either off or intermittently on, ventilated seats either off or intermittently on and constant speed upto 80. 3) It gave me even 400+, 450+ where there were descending slope and all conditions mentioned in point number 2. I always use City mode, which gives actually more range than ECO mode. I always keep Regeneration Level to highest, i.e. 3. I always gradually increase the speed and try to maintain the speed with smart use of regeneration.
In most ev range videos you will see then the driver is not keeping up with traffic. Unrealistically slow. Sure, drive at 30kmph it may even give 500km.
I have nexon ev prime and I have been traveling mumbai pune every month and yes with city usage I get 240 and on ghat 200 but every time on return I charge only 40% as downhill it automatically recharges my total trip is 312km and with home charging and DC fast charging total cost sums up around 560rs and I have driven 13,500km in last one year. And honestly this car is just amazing there Is a learning factor but soon you understand how to use it more efficiently. If you have to travel daily evs are actually cheap with really good automatic system the upper price you pay ends up with a great experience
@@chandersheikher4272 100 and above is a bad speed for Nexon as far as range. 80-90 should give around 240-260. Nexon aerodynamics are a big problem for going fast and to still achieve good range.
Not everywhere we get compensating downhill run, but doing 122 wh/km Avg at the end is impressive. This car is definitely a 250-300 km range vehicle in real world.
Brakes are better for simple reason that all are Disc brakes and with EV max onwards they have an integrated braking system(Vacuum + regen) this aspect can be clearly seen in Tiago as well.
Sir Can you please clear Regen concept when we have to use level 1,2 or 3. Actually always I get confused about when to use which level like in the below scenarios? 1. Traffic like going to the office and heading into regular traffic 2. Inside City ride with minimal traffic 3. Straight Highway ride (without ghats) 4. On the Ghats while climbing which level and while getting down which level 5. While heavy rain on straight road Can you please explain more about LIGHTFOOT, actually I am a new driver 😄 Also, you can mention if any condition/Scenario I missed. Thanks

Bro atlist we have one more choice if u have very lil drive u can afford petrol but when u drive 100 km around daily...u cant afford petrol and evs are much better than cng atlist....
It’s actually true. There are many studies that say the procurement of material and manufacturing process does make it carbon heavy. But wen i say this on the channel… they dont seem to get the broad idea.
Bro the manufacturing process of ev batteries is harmful not the car when ev car is on road it doesn't harm environment and world government is trying best every year to improve the dependcy on natural energy rather then coal and fuel
@@sameershah584 bro 85 to 90 % of electricity in india is still produced using coal as fuel. That way, though indirectly, running an ev also polluts the environment.
That is great. My issue is the electric power is addictive. It urges u to go a little faster and enjoy the car. Thats where the range takes a hit. Light foot is the answer

Max can easily give around 370- 400km

It is a new experience with a steep learning curve. And i m glad ure making the most of it. Many congratulations on ure purchase

Avg of nexon ev max on full charge ,on highway at speed of 90-100 kmph.

Where is the DC fast charger on Mumbai Pune expressway?
I’m ECO mode driver (plus light foot 😊) Driven 385 km max in one charge on one occasion. But average I’m getting is ~350-360 km for sure.
What is the avg speed you drive? With AC or without?
@@sunilpkumar87 avg speed 70-80 on highway. Without AC most (80%) of the times, since I use Ventilated seats option more.

Yes easily
Highway par regenerate kam rakhna chahiye...
Level 1 is recommended
Not possible without charging car trip from mumbai to pune

Rear disk breaks should be compulsory in my opinion. Safety first
@@PaisaTeraBaapDega agreed, but with the way BYD and Tata both integrate their brakes with regen, we can do away with rear drum brakes no issues.
I have achieved 360, but then on another trip when the weather was cold, i got 280 w/o AC , though the heater was kicking in constantly
Ya its a big variable. I met ppl who are getting 220 in ev max. Same day i got 360

Hey, what does light foot drive mean?
Be a dummy on the road, stall traffic behind u
Don't gun it all the time evs are very smooth so even harsh foot will run to 100 in very few seconds nexon tops 100 in 8 seconds and 120 in 10
Take it easy on the accelerator and enjoy better range as a result
Just buy a BYD, that’s true electric for a Car.
Mehengi hai thodi. Design boht achha hai. Tesla is also buying ev components from them now
We can do that once they start manufacturing it here and price the cars reasonable.
Vo dusre bhai ne chalyi gadi barabr vo nikal sakta hai 350-400 km range easily. Tumhara W/hr bohot zyada tha.
