2.30 lakh kilometer review of toyota innova crysta. check pros and cons of crysta.
works done till yet:
Clutch plate changed @ 1.27 lakh kms.
Normal wear and tear parts like Tyres, Brake Shoes, Rear Pads changed only.
Pros:
God of Reliability, Shut your eye and drove it anywhere. running lakhs of kms fuss free.
Comfortable long distance tourer.
Useable 3rd Row Seat.
lower vairants are good to own and VFM options (G, G Plus and GX).
Very Good resale value due to regular increase in Prices.
Example: we purchased the GX manual variant for 15 lakh in 2017, now same variant costs 19.5 lakh in 2021.
Cons:
pricier for what it offers.
Tyres required to be changed at every 40000 kms.
Front Disc Rotors are always required to be skimmed at 20000 kms.
Discs worn out after very 20000 - 25000 kms.
Suspension is not in league of Previous Innova.
Body Roll are more than previous generation.
Seats are not fold 180 flat like in previous innova which is boon for drivers and passengers.
Nice points , also there is a problem of brake shudder between 60 to 90 kmph due to poor quality rotors. However , toyota is replacing or phasing the rotors to avoid this problem. But the issue RE surfaces after 2k kms
also a one more problem of camber allignment issues.
Yep, the previous gen is definitely a more comfortable ride by miles.
Reason is 15 inch wheels with higher side walls. If you can check CRYSTA G variant which is made to order only have Steel wheels in 15 Inch have much better ride quality thn 16 / 17 inchers one.

You still have not spoken about implications of rear wheel drive ... have you not faced any problems with off road situations? Heard generally wheel spins occurs often .
its always there in rear wheel drive cars like innova where your one of the wheel lost traction. in that situations power mode with low gas pedal helps.
Can I buy it for travel business? How much return it will give if car is running minimum for 15-20 days in a month?
Go for KIA Carens diesel. Fuel efficiency is far better in Carens diesel.

but it eyes closed. zero maintainance only Oil, filter, brake pads, tyres are the things have to take care.
