"there has not been one filming day where everything just went right" this really helps me a lot, filming is something that just stresses me out, the gear, the light, the shot. list! so many things going on and Im always thinking there is some kind of gadget or gear I need to make it easier and flawless! glad to know things still go wrong!
I’m so grateful for this! While I feel that I’ve been growing little by little, but I still feel like I’ve come to a halt creatively. Thank you so much for this!
Long form for sure. Also I would love a breakdown of how you write your scripts. But not only that. What I find the most impressive is you been posting videos for 365 days. I would love to get a bts on how you keep that up. Getting ideas, how to script those ideas, how to not waste too much time posting on multiple platforms, editing, the systems you have for it all. I’m a creator myself and currently only on X, but that place it not made for creatives, so I’m expanding to yt and insta after 1 year on x exclusivity. Love and respect what you do. Marc
It's hard to answer which I prefer. It feels like it's comparing apples to oranges. I see the value in both. I appreciate the slower pace of the long form content and how informative it is. I also liked how in this video in particular I saw a side of you that was less polished which was refreshing. Ahh! I can't decide but I am excited to see more of both long and short form content.
Love the long form content dude, also showing your sense of humor and humility a bit more and it’s very engaging man. Great stuff excited to see you grow this year!
For filters getting stuck on the lens, pop the lens in a cold environment which will help shrink the metal and loosen it up freezer for a minute or two or fridge etc should help! Some great tips as always dude ❤
Hell yea! This is dope kuya. I remember i used to see your content back on Tumblr back in the day. Then i found your stuff again on Tiktok last year. Seeing you pursuing your passion for all these years is inspiring!
I'm so happy that you are now on RUclips. I've been a long-time fan ever since you started in 2023 and always wished for you to come over to here to RUclips because I knew you'd thrive over here haha. Would love to see a video on your entire time management process as I, at times, struggle to stay organized with my time as a part-time content creator. Appreciate the content as of late tho, again happy you're here!!!
I appreciate the candid commentary and behind the scenes of your shoots. As a small RUclipsr, I'm always curious to learn more about the creative process. Looking forward to this next phase of you!
Bro, this is golden! 👌🏿 Seeing the behind-the-scenes of your process definitely helps people like myself feel relatable. Keep grinding, man; you're definitely one of my top creators. ✊🏿
This feels so relatable! Seing your shortform over the years it all looks so fluid, but seeing the relity behind it soothes my brain and makes me appreciate the craft so much more!
Damn this brings back old school youtube vibes with this format ratio, defo loving this series and just the bts of how you show the ups and downs of this job role, so many people think its as easy as clicking on the cam and hitting record, and forget some 2 second shot can take over 40 mins to nail! and OMG the filter getting stuck is my nightmare, if someone created a tool for removing them and sold them with every filter would be a millionaire overnight ahah
Hey Adrian. Just discovered you for the first time. A film each day is a HUGE undertaking (I LiveStream five days per week, so I know). I wish you every success.
This is awesome, Adrian! More long-form of the bts, and hopefully a long-form breakdown of why you like/prefer the gear you have. Looking forward to seeing more of your youtube videos. :)
I’ve been following you on TikTok for two years, and I was so excited to see that you’ve started creating on RUclips! I absolutely love your content and wanted to let you know that you’ve been such an inspiration for me to start my own video creation journey. Also, I was wondering if you could share some tips or insights about how you process your voice in your videos. Your audio always sounds amazing, and I’d love to learn from you! Thank you so much, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work!
Happy to see you on RUclips man! Welcome! Also for anyone who ever gets filters or step up rings seriously STUCK STUCK on lenses (or each other!) put on a pair of rubber kitchen gloves to twist them apart! Works for me every time 🎉
I love a video on how you go about doing the shot list. I’m new to film making and currently learning stuff. Because tbh I’m often lost after a script a video.
Thanks for this man! I can really relate to everything in the process of making film. Especially as a Christian filmmaker it’s hard but keep going keep pushing and keep inspiring brother!
I would love to know more about shot list planning or story boarding. The whole process of creating a video concept. I’ve done some videos at work since I work in learning and development, and so I have a good idea for how I organize talking head videos for setting up activities or tool tutorials. But when it comes to storytelling I feel like I’m missing some structure from my regular concept which I normally make a lose outline for, and then kind of start writing the talk track, then I fill in shots. But i usually don’t use a shot list, and I also don’t have as many cuts. I’d love to see how you go from a video concept into the specifics, and then how that leads you to a shot list. In my head it’s like 1) high level concept, 2 main points of the story outlined 3) talk track 4) plan the shots and match to different talking points 5) visual transitions?
PLease make a full detailed breakdown of creating a shotlist! Everytime I struggle and takes me forever just to make a shotlist. The shotlist is soo bare bones soo basic lol so YES PLEASE! Been a long time fan of yours! Keep it up!
love the camcorder footage. reminds me of the early 2000s 🥰 love the long form content. keep it coming. learning a lot. beginner here. shooting on a sony zve-10 ii. just bought a cpl and nd filter. should get here tomorrow. so much to learn. thank you for starting your youtube journey. can’t wait to see what you create. don’t burn yourself out posting daily!! thanks for what you do ❤
Long form please. I never knew you had a RUclips channel till today as I only follow on insta. Would be great to see your process of making and editing content, gear recommendations and all. I personally would be getting an entry level camera nothing pricy but I believe with your guidance on how to film content would help people like myself who want to learn. Thank you
Hey bro! Recently came across your content and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. If you could show us how you create your outlines (script, angles, b roll, etc) that would amazing man. Keep doing what you’re doing! 💪
Welcome to RUclips! 🎉 This was super informative. I just finished recording my first long form video yesterday, which took way longer than expected and with a lot of things going wrong haha. It will be published later. But it was really good to see that you as a successful creator are also struggling with recording yourself everyday - since I just experienced that myself! Thanks for sharing this Adrian, keep going!
Hey! I have been watching your Reels for a while now, saw your video here on youtube and just had to watch it! You are amazing and thank you for showing the reality behind creating content. So many times I feel like an idiot, because I miss the shots, the focus or forget the lines even though the sentences I tried to remember have like 5 words in it.. It really gives me energy to keep going and truely start making content on youtube (: I had the same problem with the filters being stuck, buy a 3 size kit filter wrench for lenses, it will change your life forever! Thank me later
I'm super stoked about your youtube videos man! Much needed! You are inspiring! Keep crushing it! Oh btw supporting the channel, just bought the LUT package!
I love every second of this! Looking forward to more 🫶🏼🙏🏼. These are exactly the kinds of vlogs I’ve always wanted to create, but I was too afraid no one would care. I finally picked up my camera before 2024 ended, so here’s to a 2025 full of growth! 🔥💪🏽
I love the video! There are lots of great Gems! I would love to see you dive deeper into your location scouting and shot list and any inspiration you gravitate toward.
Man the long form is so cooooool!! I woke up this morning being like "have I turned on the bell on Adrian's channel yesterday?" I'm not the kind spending hours on RUclips and insta so I consider you my daily learning and the long format like this is so perfect for this 🫶 thanks for the work you put in
I'd love the full breakdown of your shortlist and scripting process but I'd also like to understand better how you find ideas about what you want to post. Like you said, comments might help but starting from 0, I don't really know where to start
I’ve been a big fan since I found you - I’ve always hoped you’d make a RUclips channel. Of course, you’re the driver in control but I think RUclips is such a great platform for raw and bts genuine connection. I think maybe not as much of the jumping around as it feels more like a longer short form video like TikTok/reel just extended Could just be me, either way I’m supporting and excited to enjoy whatever knowledge and entertainment you provide us!
Haha I feel you on something going wrong. I had one film session where I filmed everything and thought it was great. Next thing I know in editing I found out I had no sound. Had a dead battery in my mic and had to reshoot 3 days worth of footage 😅
+1, a rubber band works too! I have a bunch of rubber bands from just buying groceries and I put them on my lenses or in my bag for when my filters inevitably get stuck. Saves your fingers from getting ripped off lol
Longform Adrian!!!!!!
I’m finally here! 😌
Colt ❤🎉😊
I got a Rocky flashback.
Third! Also yes please to the full breakdown of your shotlist and scripting process!
Got it, got it. Noted. I’ll do a full full in-depth video on just scripting at some point
@ thank you so much Adrian!
100% would love to learn more about this.
agreedd
What separates Adrian is he just communicates to you like he cares and wants to be your guide in the film process, you can’t fake that!
"there has not been one filming day where everything just went right" this really helps me a lot, filming is something that just stresses me out, the gear, the light, the shot. list! so many things going on and Im always thinking there is some kind of gadget or gear I need to make it easier and flawless! glad to know things still go wrong!

Takes me back to when I watched your OG OG videos from years ago! Love the energy
your honesty is appreciated, I can really relate to all that mundaness that comes in-between projects.
I'm so happy that you are now on RUclips. SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU ON RUclips! 🙌
This is sooo real! I love your vibe it is just great how you always stay positive
I'm loving the style and the aspect ratio. I think you trend setting here. NICE!
Love this, Adrien. Super dope.

Here's to making the things and actually applying what we learn this year !!
Your consistency is 2nd to none. Sometimes the motivation is not there how do you over come that? It’s hard over here.

I’m really loving your content! The long form is great and so informative.
This is golden! Being used to seeing you in short form, it is so refreshing to see what is like behind the scenes. Keep doing this!
I just found the channel yesterday and i’m so excited about what you will be sharing, and yeah the longform please. 💪🏾👊🏾
Yes - would love to see how you time block, write the script, shot list all the things!
Hey Adrian. Just discovered you for the first time. A film each day is a HUGE undertaking (I LiveStream five days per week, so I know). I wish you every success.
love this bro! I support all the work you have been doing, and excited for the RUclips channel!
Time blocking is a game changer when creating content or just trying to accomplish any task! Love how meticulous you are!
OMG ADRIAN YES! this what the world needs to see
This is awesome, Adrian!
More long-form of the bts, and hopefully a long-form breakdown of why you like/prefer the gear you have.
Looking forward to seeing more of your youtube videos. :)
Seeing how you plan out the shot list with the script would be incredible. This has been the bottleneck for my content. Please Adrian, we need this!!
I just noticed the custom plate over top of your regular plates, great way to combine privacy and branding!
This is honestly great man. Super inspiring to watch you create in a 'real-life' type of way.
Welcome to long format my G 🙌❤️
bro..... you are a freakin GOAT for this... THANK YOU
I’ve been following you on TikTok for two years, and I was so excited to see that you’ve started creating on RUclips! I absolutely love your content and wanted to let you know that you’ve been such an inspiration for me to start my own video creation journey.

These are so good man, loving the detailed bts and raw emotion. I can empathize 1000% with some of those hangups!
Happy to see you on RUclips man! Welcome! Also for anyone who ever gets filters or step up rings seriously STUCK STUCK on lenses (or each other!) put on a pair of rubber kitchen gloves to twist them apart! Works for me every time 🎉
Bout time! Gonna be ready to watch all the videos incoming! Evergreen content!
I love a video on how you go about doing the shot list. I’m new to film making and currently learning stuff. Because tbh I’m often lost after a script a video.
Long form is the best for this type of content. Helps so much
Definitely long form. I’m planning on going back to the RUclips content and making videos just like this. Thanks in the tips and inspiration
Thanks for this man! I can really relate to everything in the process of making film. Especially as a Christian filmmaker it’s hard but keep going keep pushing and keep inspiring brother!
This is a vibe, welcome to the space 🙏🏽
Love you and your content.
Please drop a video on your pre production, maybe give some minimalist pre production tips for beginners!!
Let's gooo! Like the long form even more!
Love the raw long form content!
Thank you for this. Super hype for these vids. Definitely gonna pickup scheduling my days and see how it goes for me. Salute

I love long-form videos. I just watched this video while having breakfast. Keep it up! I also watch short videos at another time of the day.
Happy to be included in your morning routine 😌
Hey bro! Recently came across your content and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. If you could show us how you create your outlines (script, angles, b roll, etc) that would amazing man. Keep doing what you’re doing! 💪
Love the behind the scenes videos Adrian! Keep it up. Huge motivation for me to start filming my own videos! 📸
I really love this new format!!
Amazing Video ! Normally when stacking filters I find myself bringing rubber bands to help grip onto the filters better to remove, definitely helps!
Welcome to RUclips! 🎉 This was super informative. I just finished recording my first long form video yesterday, which took way longer than expected and with a lot of things going wrong haha. Longform Adrian, sounds crazy but good to know that as a creator you creative struggles aren't just your own. We all go through it.
I'm so happy you've finally decided to be a RUclipsr!
“I know what a polarizer is”😂 felt that!
So inspiring to see the process!!!!!!!!
I love this so much!! Maybe just more details and breaking down things a little bit slower? with the lenses and things
I love the video! There are lots of great Gems! I would love to see you dive deeper into your location scouting and shot list and any inspiration you gravitate toward.
Long form, Short form, it's all DOPE!! Keep it up!!
Very cool, love the long form, looking forward to more videos
Here for it
We need the full breakdown of the shotlist and scripting!
This is so cool men, just what I need, the raw the real thing is what motivates everybody.
Can't wait to watch the next episode! I'm so glad I started following this challenge from day one 🔥🔥🔥 P.S: long form is awesome, please keep going!

Loving the longform and seeing the BTS!
Love the insights and seeing your creative process! We want MORE LONGFORM!! 🤩
We appreciate you Adrian!

Haha I feel you on something going wrong. I had one film session where I filmed everything and thought it was great. Next thing I know in editing I found out I had no sound. Had a dead battery in my mic and had to reshoot 3 days worth of footage 😅
7:30 use a mouse pad to remove the filter rubber grip
+1, a rubber band works too! I have a bunch of rubber bands from just buying groceries and I put them on my lenses or in my bag for when my filters inevitably get stuck. Saves your fingers from getting ripped off lol
i also give myself time for filming videos, i feel like it makes me a better creator
Wohooo 🥳 Adrian just dropped a video. Loved every single minute if the video! Keep going brother 😊
