Fall copors arre God's blessing after a spring and summer of colorful flowers in wonderful settings. I wasn't a painter back when a trip to Vt. from Montreal,Que ;was an annual leaf peeper/ Octoberfest ! Now that I have followed you and practiced watercolor painting most days; I am really looking forward to giving fall photos and post cards a personal try at playing w paint ! I really enjoy your teaching style wiggle here as oppossed to perfect replication ! I am learning to have the playful optomistic fun as I paint not to worry aboutIf my mixed color is exact but learning to explore combo of color that go against my scientic mind but work out ! Thanks you helped a great deal to get me through covid and nursing retirement (32yrs)!
Very good painting of autumn trees. Really liked your approach Ellen to this one. I think I could manage this. Great colours, lovely and bright and cheerful Thank you, God Bless
Looks just like my backyard in Vermont. Can't wait to give them a go. Nice job Ellen. Thanks for another wonderful tutorial. The leaves will be changing here in just a few days. It is chilly today already. I'll be working in the garden in a sweater today I suspect. It's hard to see the last of the perennials in bloom. Have a wonderful day!
I bought a pack of watercolor postcards on a whim and just randomly searched for inspiration today - what great timing! Thank you for the excellent tutorial, I love how you explain the process.
Love, love these fall postcards! 🍁 I would like to know how you decide when or if you need to add a sky or background color to your paintings. I struggle deciding and wonder what your thoughts are about the subject. Thank you.

So fresh …….love the color mixes. Where can I get the transparent tape🍁?
Love your tutorials!! What do you use to seal it as a postcard?
I love your tutorials. Always follow you. I noticed that you use the paint directly from the tube. Is it better to use the paints that way?
I really like your tutorials Ellen! Sometime can you do something with dry brush technique?
I learn so much from watching your channel.
