      @gmaxsfoodfitness3035 17 дней назад +1

      Yup cuz Bolt had the fastest first 100m in a 200m race ever (9.92) but slowed down quite a bit towards the end because he was burnt out and his form started to go. Knees dropped and back was arching while trying to finish the race. Blake had the best form in a 200m ever besides reaction time. He didn't start too fast but had a good pace and finished faster than anyone else in 200m history. If you take away reaction time, Blake ran the fastest 200m ever. Bolt had given him advice right before the race too about how to run the curve.

      no he didnt, the reaction is part of the test plus youre not factoring in the altitude, the wind, the track surface, and the amount of rounds bolt had to run whereas blake had a 1-off race in favorable conditions... peak vs peak if you give them both absolutely perfect conditions and assume blake has a normal start, bolt runs into the 18.9s while blake probably runs around 19.1x

    This channel makes some of the best videos on the internet imho. The level of detail is unbelievable! From the running styles themselves, to Blake’s (tragically) poor reaction time in the 200, to the adjustments (and re-animations I’m assuming) of the races with different conditions and circumstances, this video is your best yet! By the way, in your last animation of Blake, Lyles and Bolt, who won that photo-finish between the Jamaicans?! This video really does go to show that Blake is the 2nd fastest sprinter of all time over both the 100 and 200m (World Athletics should change the standings to show tied times in order of wind strength - Blake’s 9.69 would be 2nd ahead of Tyson Gay’s), and if anyone’s to ever break Bolt’s 200 world record (it’ll happen eventually!) it’ll be done by someone who has the finishing ability of Blake and Lyles! Bolt was just an anomaly in that he could go out in 9.9 seconds on THE CURVE, then follow it up with a sub-9.3 final 100! Love these videos, one of the best channels on RUclips; keep it up!!

      In all cases the time would have been tyson's time would have been like 9.78 without the wind . He's properly one of the luckiest guys in sprinting history to have the +2.0 wind legality, lol.

      @@aaronmbaye6498 Yohan Blake had plenty of good tailwinds in his career, but he only ran one wind adjusted time under 9.80 seconds. Tyson ran 5 wind adjusted races under 9.80 seconds so he was bound to get a good tailwind eventually. Tyson also ran his 9.69 with a groin injury barely any sleep the night before, and an awful start.

      @@aaronmbaye6498you don't think Yohan had tailwind in that 9.69s? Every other race he ran is 9.8s when ajusted for wind speed. His 9.69s is a massive, massive outlier, so much faster than his 2nd fastest time (wind adjusted) that it's safe to say that -0.1m/s wind reading is very lilely wrong, and probably close to + 2.0m/s.
