As an Arsenal fan, Trossard gives me vibes of Freddie Ljundberg. He's not super fast, but technically very good, works hard for his team and really knows where the goal is.

Not talked about enough is Partey dominating at CDM today. He's been out for a long time and he needs to get into a rhythm for game speed, but when he's flowing he's one of the best in that position in the world. Partey being healthy and playing his best again is underrated and huge for the final stretch of the season.

Chelsea is in such a funny situation. I think it was during the United game I saw Disasi celebrating after each tackle. Obviously trying to appear all passionate and stuff.
Except there were two problems. First one, he continues doing this after Chelsea has just thrown away a 2 goal lead. 2nd, in one scenario, he gave the ball away in a dangerous situation and was forced into a last ditch tackle, conceding a corner kick. Instead of holding his hand up and apologising to his teammates, i saw him celebrate again. And before you say it's age related, he is 26. He should be more level-headed, but he is acting like some inexperienced teenager.
I think Chelsea will be used as a future case study with regards to the merits of a complete tear down and rebuild based on very young, inexperienced, and expensive players.
The assumption is they will eventually be good but player development in football is rarely ever that linear. There are so many hurdles to overcome. So many things you can't predict and quantify like how players can overcome injuries or lack of confidence or even personal issues.

@readmore7180 yes but there are some very key differences. Biggest one is Arteta was part of that process from the start. Whereas Chelsea are already on their 4th manager in two seasons. That Arsenal team whilst young had quite a bit of experience and didn't cost a billion. Plus every position on the pitch either had a starter or backup who wasn't necessarily a kid. Guys like Xhaka, Jesus, Zinchenko, Partey and later on Jorginho and Trossard.

Highest scoring side in the league but they "need someone to put the ball in the back of the net." They've shared the goals around the team for two seasons now so it's not a one-off or temporary thing. Havertz is a baller. And Craig is stuck in the 90’s. Havertz doesn’t need to be “the man” as the 9 for Arsenal. Because they have so many attacking players that interchange and score goals. Havertz is as much a facilitator as a goal scorer with this team. And he fits in very well. Craig clearly doesn’t watch chelsea or jackson. His link up play is actually excellent. He links up with palmer very well. Jackson gets too much slack. His finishing needs improving for sure. But there is a good player in there

Chelsea’s about to have records on both ends.. least goals conceded in a season and most goals in a season.

Players you can depend on... Reece, Silva, Colwill, Fofana, Gusto, Palmer, Nkunku were not on the pitch. There are good players for any coach to come in and make a really good team... but the medical crew are a poison

Whenever Chelsea loses, ESPN FC put Sterling on the thumbnail...
Dude didn't even start the game and is not responsible for this 5-0 drubbing.
Just put Havertz or someone else from Arsenal on the thumbnail. Jeez.

They do the same f Utd by always putting Rashy on thumbnail when they lose as opposed t Fernandez/Hojland if they win

Espn giving a pass for pochettino for disaster of a season inspite of spending 1 billion. Where as the entire yesterday segment was for bashing ten hag inspite of reaching fa cup final and finishing higher. Double standards by these so called pundits.

It's not quite the same though. How many of these players did Poch sign. This is seven hag's second season and he signed a lot of players.

There seems to be a complete loss of confidence in the Chelsea players. I think Poch has to pull them together and collectively come to the agreement that things are not good. You START with that, to instil the sense of togetherness again, a team, rather than lost individuals. No one single player is at fault. That is step 1. Then, you remove any pressure from them by saying the season is basically over and expectations for remaining games will be low. Then, you appeal to their sense of professionalism, trying to get them to want to put some added physical effort into the remaining matches, without over-doing it (i.e. track back, deny the opposition time and space as much as possible). Then after the matches, brief them, highlighting the positives. Keep stressing the sense of TEAM. I'm not a Chelsea fan but those players need this kind of thing now, not after the season is over. Otherwise, it will haunt them all summer long.
