Taking that into consideration I guess the beats are slightly more economical. Appreciate the tips on ear adjustments, thanks.

had mine about a year. charging and battery are still perfect. the only issue is I have very stupid shaped ears as well and these fall out (not as immediately as my partner’s airpods) often. into the sink, off a balcony once, at the beach in the sea foam once, changing my top, hugging my nephews, bending over to leash my dog.. a lot. and they’ve always survived! for some reason the left stays in much better and as a result 80% of the time I listen on one side. (also for background I have c-ptsd and I listen to some kind of noise all day. podcasts, lectures, books, youtube etc) my ears do get sore (the right side get suuper sore) but I think that’s expected although my family never has any earbud related pain even when at work on zoom all day so it may be another weird shaped ear thing. I appreciate this thorough review and if anyone has any tips (lol) or accessory recommendations to keep mine in, i’d appreciate a link. i’ve tried the little silicone sleeves (which work well when brand new but never stay sticky or matte enough) and those awful triple bulb tip replacements meant to bury them in deeper so they are less weighted to fall out I think. my ears are way too small and the headphone sits outside my ear entirely. i’m willing to give something a shot I live in these things. thanks!

I've owned a pair of Powerbeats pros for the last 1.5 yrs and while I love the fit & sound quality - the charging case's reliability is a hit or miss. I've had the BFP for about 9 months and I mainly use them for running and in the gym. I find them to be fine for these purposes but you are right about the case. One other thing is that it's missing wireless charging which should be standard in a product of this price. The running reviews that I've seen rate the Jabra Elite 7 and Jaybirds Vista 2 higher than the Beats Fit Pro. Those alternatives are $100. But the Jaybirds were $200 when the Beats Fit Pro launched. Right now I'd buy the Jaybirds, hands down. I was hoping to get more than 2-3 years out of these but I should probably get a backup. You can program them to do volume up and down using press/hold. I see these can be purchased refurbished so I don't know that they can't be fixed.
I used to wear my beats fit pro all day after having my air pods pro for about 2 years, and the sound quality on the beats were a step above the air pods. The comfort level of the air pods pro were significant by comparison. I agree on the case being so fragile too. Considering there is very little protection options for the beats I think the better of the two will be the air pods pro.
I have these and I have the Powerbeats pro as well and had the AirPods Pro 2 and they didn’t fit well for me, if they fit for you get the AirPods 2. Great review A have had two sets of Powerbeats pro Charging issues On first. One ear dead Second ones seem to work but yiu never know if they are charging right so I have to open up phone and ensure they are connected So great real review I have these now. Just got them They are great so far And your review of the button is of course spot on.
I have powerbeats pro since 2019, their batteries gave up on life a month ago (they last for about 20 minutes with moderate volume), so I am about to go shopping. Hearing you poopoo on them so much absolutely breaks my heart, I always found them superior in sound among all earbuds (including airpods) and they never let me down or fell out of my ears. 5 years of extensive use (we are talking about never leaving my house without them, they even have a dedicated pocket in my bag) and they still work. This says everything about powerbeats pro that anyone should know. They have been dropped, submerged, the stickers came off but they proved to be indestructible.
That's awesome - I'm glad they held up for you! I agree with the quality and securing in the ear, but just had so many issues with charging and dropping out they were impossible. I gave it a shot with multiple exchanges and no luck!
Totally agree with you! I have been using this from a week now and till now these are the best fitting earbuds for Gym. Many people reported issues with ear pain especially with the right bud......I hope they try some fitting techniques like you mentioned......driving it away from the face. ANC is better than XM3's that I own.....I can't hear the songs they play in the Gym's surround speaker :) But I can hear my thumping in the treadmill and also breathing....maybe subconsciously I wish it had a hold and release for transparency mode like Sony's cuz if someone is trying to talk to me in the gym I need to either remove the bud or change the mode manually.
I don't remember if I mentioned that or not in the video - but I definitely hear the thumping and transference of impact more on these than my Powerbeats Pro - but not nearly as bad as some other buds I've had in the past (especially some wired ones that sounded like a stethoscope )!
You can change the mode or yeah youll have to remove them to me transparency doesnt work for me at all but i have hope they work on the 50 dollar updated and upgraded earbuds
Thanks for the great review. I originally found the sound of these quite disappointing, and not nearly as good as my 2nd gen AirPods. Your advice on twisting the tip made a huge improvement, and saved me a return trip to Best Buy!
I have been using the Beats fit pro for a few weeks and I like them better than the Airpod pro ear buds. The Beats stay in place better and the battery life is longer.
OK I have had the fit Pros about 2 weeks maybe 3 and in terms of connectivity I have only one issue. I actually use my buds all day long, with my phone and then when home use them with my MacBookPro. They paired instantly to both and I can swith them to my MacBook with one click of the trackpad, however I find a little annoying that they will automatically change toi the iPhone if I get a call or say, a timer I set goes off, but will not turn back to the MacBook if I have some audio source going, I have to do that manually, I wish I would switch so I don't even have to think about it. There is something very cool that I however don't consciously use and that's spacial audio, what I find disturbing is that I discovered it when the buds decided to give me spatial audio, and then wen't away randomly, again, the effect is just too cool, but it could be a little creepy when you don't expect it
You have to pair them i think separately they can only connect to one device at a time…. As well there should be a button unless im thinking of mine which may have a different chip being the previous models- the beats studio buds
Thanks for the in-depth review video. I was on the fence about buying the BFP. After you mentioned that you were still using decent headphones from 15+ years back that you got for $50 and talked about the certain waste that will result in the future in buying such expensive products, you reminded me about the pitfalls of consumerism…and now I’m on the fence about getting any earphones or headphones at all. LoL
Overall great review BUT as someone who has been using the Powerbeats pros for about 18 months, I only MILDLY understand the frustration with the charging issue, personally I found as long as I take an extra 5 seconds to make sure they’re connected in the case I don’t have any problems with them, and the fact that I literally wear them all day (and don’t even realize they’re there most of the time) and get 9 hrs out of them makes any little issue with the charging irrelevant to me. I simply wipe the sensors off on the headphones and the case each time before I put them in to charge and I’ve never had another issue after the one time the right headphone didn’t charge overnight. I am looking for something smaller with ANC so I am considering the FBP but I am also considering the AirPods Pro’s. The issue I am going to have is everything is going to PALE IN COMPARISON to the Powerbeats Pro’s in terms of battery life which is extremely important to me as someone who wears them ALL DAY!
Yes thats what i was trying to mentioned and kept forgetting- i believe with mine being the beats studio buds it has 9 hours without anc on, and 6 hrs with anc or transparency on. I thinking the beats fit pros lasts a tad longer but i dont remember i do remember they sound better have wing tips and 50 bucks more.
I just bought these for $119 🇨🇦, regularly $250. I had to return the first purchase because the right one would charge (slower) but wouldn’t connect.🤷♂️ Anyway, the 2nd one is charging now. Looking forward to it.
My Powerbeats Pros left earpiece is dying and disconnecting at 50% and tried everything to fix em. Thinking of buying these, i use my beats daily and i really love them but cannot go further with the disconnecting issue.
I’ve tried 3 different headphones in the last 3 days. One of those three was the Powerbeats pro… as the same as you, I did not like them at all and healed a grudge against beats… but after seeing your review I’m gonna try the Beats Fit Pro out tomorrow! Thank you 🙏
@@simplestride8225 Do you still like the Beats Fit Pro? Deciding between that and the sennheiser momentum true wireless 3. Which the Sennheiser can get bought refurbished from the manufacturer. Which I never buy refurbished from 3rd party. Which really means just used.
Does the white colour attract dirt and eventually turns yellower or dirtier? didnt see it in the video clips which made me ask dk if i should go with the black or white. Btw great review
They are better than the previous ones called Beats Studio Buds but just cuz someone said the powerbeats didnt work for them i dont think they all defective but idk much about any besides owning beats solo, beats solo 2, beats eps, beats studio buds and beats solo pros
I just switched to the Beats Fit Pro's from Powerbeats Pro's, and I am so much happier. No more draining while in the case, no more connectivity issues, etc. I almost took a hammer to my Powerbeats. 🤣
This is the pain I’m in now lol. I’ve bought a couple of pairs of Powerbeats Pro’s and trying to get them to charge is a PAIN. Terrible case design. I was trying to decide between trying Beats Fit Pro’s or switching to air pods.
OMG I loved this review!!!!! You’re so charismatic! I love the content!!!! These particular headphone hurt my ear with the wing it’s got after 30-45mins so I use them sporadically. I go with the Beats Studio 3 for work outs outside and AirPods Pro/Beats Studio Buds for work from home and everyday music/video watching (like right now) lol I’m actually using the Beats Studio buds (white) Overall, thank you for this! **subscribed af**
Well, I have said some nice things about the Fit Pros, now I have a quedstion for viewers. Has anyone had fit (no pun) ment problems or any adverse reactions to these and even other Beats ear buds? Since I had the "untrue wireless" Powerbeats, I found my ear to have a bit of inflamation, with the Powerbeats I thought it was due to the wire having snagged on my backpack, which is one of the reasons I finally pulled the trigger on true wireless buds, but as I swiched to the Beats Fit Pros my left ear was very unhappy making me think that I was actually having an allergic reaction to the materials used. right now I'm letting my ear heal and will try the Fit Pros again to see if it is indeed a material based allergy or just caused by injury from the powerbeats pulling on my ear. Anyone experience a disagreement (allergy) with the Fit Pros?
You really need to test the mike in a noisy environment. Most ear buds will work just fine in a quiet room. It's really the most important function of all! These are used mostly with phones after all.
Good point! They were pretty mediocre in perfect silence, I don't expect them to be very good in a noisy environment, but I'll keep that in mind in future videos!
I have been using my Jaybird X3’s for years. What is awesome about the Beats Fit Pro is that the locked in EQ on the Beats are identical to how I have my X3’s custom EQ. I got lucky and guess the people in charge of the sound have the same listening preference as I do. Spatial Audio is horrible for most of my music however…Spatialized Audio sounds phenomenal when listening to soundtracks. The Beats Fit Pro are now my go to buds for the gym. One complaint is that I have a larger ear hole on the right and when I get sweaty I do have to kind of push the earbud back in a little…they are not falling out but a little irritating. I ordered some “Truegrip pro two-220-c” Comply tips that fit the Beats Fit Pro so I hope that helps with keeping the earbuds in my ear better and more snug. I am blown away with the sound quality of these earbuds. 😎
I had planned on wearing wireless earbuds under earmuffs. Does this arrangement not work cause of the metal in the earmuffs? They do have some earbuds are small with a small wire popping out that goes around the back of your neck. Which is semi-wireless. I had wanted wireless earbuds also because of noise cancelling. So I could have earmuffs, but then noise cancelling on top of that. I have been looking at the Beats Fit Pro and the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3.
Thanks for the review! Can I check how's the rubber material of the earphones holding up? I've always had concerns with soft touch / rubbery textures as they melt / get funky real quickly here in South East Asia where it's always hot and humid. Do you get lint and fine hair that's difficult to remove?
Funny you should mention that, in short no... I didn't notice anything like that, however when I was editing this video and saw some of the macro shots in 4k on my big screen I could already tell the rubber pieces appeared ever so slightly discolored, and it did make me wonder if it would get more obvious in the long-run (like the clear phone cases that always yellow after a year or two). the
Ah... prob why I'm not going to go for White... Wanted grey but it's out of stock and only Black is available. I'm more concerned with breakage though. Most of such soft touch material have not lasted past a year for me. The only comfort I have is that the AirPods Max headband is still pristine after more than a year! Hopefully the Beats are as well engineered, given my corrosive sweat and oily ears >..< @@varuzzoproductions9484
Just clean them out or take out the rubbers every once in a while to clean out the gunk. Or replace the rubber tips- beats studio buds is slightly different in two aspects no ear tips or fins or wings- and lesser sound stage but it is 50 usd cheaper
They better than the beats studio buds, and i dont like any of the older beats heavy bass….but too each their own. They are an updated and upgraded version of beats studio buds. Basically if you compare it between the other previous model- they have better anc, passive mode and normal mode. That’s the difference too is case size- the studio buds look like the airpods slightly bigger not as big as those though. But i do wish you the best thanks 🙏 for the feed back im buying the beats solo pro so i cant get the earbuds plus i have the studio buds. Actually coming from owning alot of beats over time- and Skullcandy. I like beats a tad more even though i had more problems with beats overall. Also i slightly a beats fan. And i swear alot of ppl love the powerbeats. I think i like beats now that apple owns them because i didnt like my solos hd or 2. Almost killed the beats for me till i couldnt afford the AirPods pros so i got the beats studio buds instead of the airpods because they were only 150 dollars. Verus 250 or whatever. Than they released the fit pros right after i had my studio buds for like a month
You are correct. The power beats pro were a waste for me. the left stopped working and apple charged me $100 to fix. I trashed them and said never again. even all my cheap $40 mpow earbuds still work. crazy
Great review. I really appreciated your review of the PowerBeats Pro and wished I had seen if BEFORE I purchased...two sets! I'm having the same problems with both sets (mine and wifey's) that you bring up in your PowerBeats Pro review. So, I'm shopping around but very skeptical of the Beats Fit Pro particularly because of the case. I would really like to hear a followup review regarding charging before I buy. Thanks again.
who is that song in your background 🔥🔥? listening to your video with my BPF. life-long Jabra Elite series user..still my favorites, but… spatial audio and deep rich bass (imo) on these Beats Pro Fit i recently purchased worth every penny. agree with inconvenience of “Hey, Siri” to control volume🤷🏾♂️. agree with the case, too. u can do better, apple. background music bro🔥🔥worth entire video. /Bklyn👑
I never really gotten to play with the bfp but i own the beats studio buds and they resembles it without the wing tips and the battery case resembles the airpod pro case. Also i guess im mostly and beats / skullcandy guy
I know this may be late, but I am just seeing this video. You all know if the fit is the only real win for these over airpods pros, you know they sell the little rubber ear holders so airpods fit just like these?
Yep - I did give those a whirl. They did make a big improvement on the airpods, the two shortfalls were they didn't keep a tight fit, so the sound ended up always being a bit thin, and of course each time I charged them had to take them off which meant I would inevitably lose them.
I hear they are equal not the current ones i have but they are on par with the AirPods Pro. Transparency is much better with the bfp than the beats studio buds
Never tried Beats Studio Buds, and only had a the Airpods Pro for a very short time (they wouldn't say in my ear). With that said, I'm also not someone with a huge need for transparency mode - it's certainly functional and didn't seem to alter the sound quality of the music in any drastic way.
How far can you go from your phone before it disconnected? 🤔 and if you turn off the extra features will the battery last longer? Because you can turn them off and on as needed to
Not sure if I mentioned it in the video, but I rarely have headphones in long enough to really evaluate battery life. I'm sure disabling noise-cancellation would give slightly improved battery life.
You lost me when you said that the case was thin/fragile. I just got these ear buds. The case is great AND strong. I could throw it across the room and not be phased. Nothing to worry about when it comes to the case.
Thanks for the info. I never put it to the test, I thought it just felt fragile and was surprised the plastic was so thin you could shine a light through it - but I never threw it around or roughed it to see if it would break. I still enjoy the headphones and have no issues long-term with the case either.
My son bought me the beats fit pro for Christmas and the left one stopped working completely after just about 2 months.. Nothing I have done has fixed it. Also they aren't very loud. Totally disappointed feel awful I asked my son to buy them for me. Total waste of money.
Sorry - I know this is months old - but I have found if they aren't "really" seated deeply and correctly the sound is very thin and not at all loud. It might be worth taking them for a second test-drive and really mess around with twisting them different ways to see if they sit in your ear better.
@@bukki007 Personally, I had to superglue them to keep them wearable. There is a video online that explains how to superglue them (So yeah it is a known problem nowadays...) I super glued them about 4 months ago, they have been holding up well with superglue but yeah, they look like frankenstein.
I had mentioned in the video earlier that the fit simply wasn't correct in my ear. Once adjusted properly (although difficulty) the sound quality and ANC was WAY better! Thanks!

ANC is better than XM3's that I own.....I can't hear the songs they play in the Gym's surround speaker :)
But I can hear my thumping in the treadmill and also breathing....maybe subconsciously
I wish it had a hold and release for transparency mode like Sony's cuz if someone is trying to talk to me in the gym I need to either remove the bud or change the mode manually.
Glad I could help!
Great review. Thank you. Bought these today. They come later this week
LoL
It's a tough one! The technologies are great, but the repairability doesn't exist.
Its slightly higher quality than the previous version beats studio buds
Please buy AirPods Pro!
The Beats Fit Pro aren‘t as good. I think all RUclipsrs are paid on this One!
I just bought these for $119 🇨🇦, regularly $250. I had to return the first purchase because the right one would charge (slower) but wouldn’t connect.🤷♂️
Anyway, the 2nd one is charging now.
Thank you 🙏
Let us know how it works out!
Update for 2 weeks later! These headphones are hands down the best I’ve ever owned
@@simplestride8225 Do you still like the Beats Fit Pro? Deciding between that and the sennheiser momentum true wireless 3. Which the Sennheiser can get bought refurbished from the manufacturer. Which I never buy refurbished from 3rd party. Which really means just used.
You can go into settings, too beats fit pro settings and program your beats fit pro, too Volume up, Volume down.
Does the white colour attract dirt and eventually turns yellower or dirtier? didnt see it in the video clips which made me ask dk if i should go with the black or white. Btw great review
Thank you for the review! I've been doing a bit of research for a good earbud that will stay in my ears for when I am running or working out.
I know the feeling!
This is the pain I’m in now lol. I’ve bought a couple of pairs of Powerbeats Pro’s and trying to get them to charge is a PAIN. Terrible case design. I was trying to decide between trying Beats Fit Pro’s or switching to air pods.
@@eavenaustin4422 try them both
OMG I loved this review!!!!! You’re so charismatic! I love the content!!!!
These particular headphone hurt my ear with the wing it’s got after 30-45mins so I use them sporadically. I go with the Beats Studio 3 for work outs outside and AirPods Pro/Beats Studio Buds for work from home and everyday music/video watching (like right now) lol I’m actually using the Beats Studio buds (white)
Overall, thank you for this!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Much appreciated. I might checkout the Beats Studio buds at some point!
Great review
It’s not unheard of for allergies to silicon and rubber.
Well idk 🤷 what to say but if you are allergic to either those type of tips they do have the memory foam ones you can replace them with
You really need to test the mike in a noisy environment. Most ear buds will work just fine in a quiet room. It's really the most important function of all! These are used mostly with phones after all.
Good point! They were pretty mediocre in perfect silence, I don't expect them to be very good in a noisy environment, but I'll keep that in mind in future videos!
Anc are pretty good but could be better after all they arent the flagship like bose or sony supposedly
let us know how those tips work out.
@@varuzzoproductions9484 I absolutely will.
Best review of this product. 🙏🏼
Might consider this since we have the same "ear problem"
If you had the receipt you could have returned them for the beats fit pro or beats studio buds
who is that song in your background 🔥🔥?
listening to your video with my BPF.
life-long Jabra Elite series user..still my favorites, but… spatial audio and deep rich bass (imo) on these Beats Pro Fit i recently purchased worth every penny.
agree with inconvenience of “Hey, Siri” to control volume🤷🏾♂️. agree with the case, too. u can do better, apple.
background music bro🔥🔥worth entire video.
/Bklyn👑
I never really gotten to play with the bfp but i own the beats studio buds and they resembles it without the wing tips and the battery case resembles the airpod pro case. Also i guess im mostly and beats / skullcandy guy
Good video
I would like to see a test of the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and Edifier Neo Buds Pro compared to these Beats Fit Pro 🙏🏽
He hopefully u answer this question how is the transparency compared to airmpods pro
@@varuzzoproductions9484 sounds good that you got one to stay firmly in your ears 👂. That is really all they are supposed to be about.
Yes if you dont use anc or transparency itll give it more juice as well as if you use one bud at a time
You lost me when you said that the case was thin/fragile.
Can this buds use either left or right individually for phone calls?
I'm not 100% on this, but I don't recall seeing that as an option.
They both have microphones in each pair so I believe you can my dude if not pop them both in :)
Fantastic! 👏🏼
Saw both of your videos and i was waiting for that charging failure hahahaha seems they work fine
Why does my left ear sometimes not work
My son bought me the beats fit pro for Christmas and the left one stopped working completely after just about 2 months..
The Wingtips will break 😑 for heavy users. Just fyi
Is it still wearable after the wingtips broke?
@@bukki007 Personally, I had to superglue them to keep them wearable. There is a video online that explains how to superglue them (So yeah it is a known problem nowadays...) I super glued them about 4 months ago, they have been holding up well with superglue but yeah, they look like frankenstein.
Sound is amazing compared to AirPods Pro. And mine can control the volume.😅 Also you start feeling the pain at about 1h30 or 2hrs.
Btw your weight scale is out of order both pods weight around 0.55 g
This was measured in ounces not grams - the conversion is rounded up.
Great review. EU has mandated USB for electronics charging. it will be the defacto standard
what’s user error
I had mentioned in the video earlier that the fit simply wasn't correct in my ear. Once adjusted properly (although difficulty) the sound quality and ANC was WAY better! Thanks!
@@varuzzoproductions9484 thanks bos
I want a refund on my powerbeats terrible…. But i love my beat fit pros
I thought beats is for basshead im suprised that you said it has little bass
Me too - I was pleasantly surprised at the balanced sound - I've never been a fan of the bass heavy (and unadjustable) EQ of many Beats products.
Beats is a ripoff brand Will never ever buy anything from Beats
To each their own i think Apple’s 550 dollar headphones 🎧 are straight rip offs and every year iphone 📱 are 1000 of dollars and they eventually turn to bricks 🧱 making you buy the latest garbage 🗑
Plus apple bought beats company. But it doesn’t have the heavy bass like dr dre had that cheap a** plastic they are much better under apple
