- Played on Racing Team Solvalou (Hard) team with Assoluto cars.
Great OST, great presentation, great graphics. RRT4 is just great. Although IMO the drifting feels bit too streamlined in this game, because you don't have much control with drifting.
I should note that PAL version has an issue with R.T.Sovalou epilogue text, because it doesn't display it at all.
Here's the whole epilogue text:
"Enki Gilbert, the mastermind behind RTS, is known as "The Lion" because of his Lion-like ferocity and stoic discipline.
But the man was only a shadow of his former self during this Grand Prix.
He had never allowed his personal emotions to color his judgement during a race until now.
Perhaps the trigger for this change was the chance meeting with his new driving ace.
The harsh words directed at this driver was his way of showing unconditional trust.
The weakness he showed during the final GP was perhaps an expression of his paternal feelings towards the driver.
After the loss of his son Giuliano Gilbert always fought his fear of losing someone important to him.
Now that he's won that battle, RTS is a force that must be reckoned with.

P.S. This playthrough was recorded on Retroarch using Beetle PS1 HW core. I also used PGPX perspective correction which makes polygons look much more stable, but might present some additional artifacts.

Assoluto probably my favourite team in R4
The iconic Blue White Stripe is the icon and always fitted for Assoluto cars (Bisonte & Fatalita from PSP)
How funny that this intro Solvalou car make appearance in Ridge Racer Accelerated for IOS
Assoluto-RTS, was the "normal" dificulty, thats whats made races more interesting to me, i remember allways hurrying to catch Up with the fourth place car (in this case the DRT-Lizard) at the end of first lap and stay behind it. Then we catch the other two and good four way battles for the win started to the end of the race.
Memories, good times.
P.D: why no one never, ever did a fanart of the racing teams girls?. It would be awsome to see one.

This god damned game needs a remake
By the time Bandai Namco Entertainment announces the 2021 remake of Ridge Racer for the PlayStation 5, the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Lite, and the Xbox Series S and X, I'm hoping there will be a Filipino Racing Team named Talim Autosport, a British Racing Team named Druaga Blue Crystal Rod Motorsports, an Anglo-French-Japanese Racing Team named Klonoa Racing, and a German Racing Team named Galaga Sport Team Zasalamel. All of the courses from Ridge Racer PSP as well as Ridge Racer 6 and Ridge Racer 7 and Ridge Racer 3D will be taking part. Racing Team Solvalou will be returning with their Italian Tri-Color livery

Is the addition of the Indonesian or Malaysian racing team?
They have to include the classic courses from the original Ridge Racer, as well as the courses from Ridge Racer Revolution and Rage Racer.

one of my favorite racing games in the ps1 also i finally completed all the grand prix mode
with this team i thought it was going so difficult to win with my favorite team in this game because of the physics

That music, everytime I hit the final lap it synced into that whoaoo part. Like 😊😊😊. Unlike Mario Kart everytime it hits final lap it's just speedup/tempo increased version of music, it's still good tho.
I was good at RTS. And I always ended up using brand Terrazi as my favorite. Because I run at perfect and good at grip cars. Especially when I got Destroyer on last race.

Dfactor Longplays funnily enough the content IDs disappeared without any notice. And yeah, there are some noticable artifacts but I think PGPX is still worth in this game.

Yeah, unfortunately Namco managed to break Team Solvalou's' epilogue text in PAL version for some absolute bizarre reason.
Fatalita, no? Also the Fatalita is one of Assoluto Motor Corp's cars. The brand you've picked is Assoluto.
Oops, you are right. Guess I had a brainfart when I wrote the description, as I meant to wrote Assoluto but instead thought Fatalita for some reason. Anyway, fixed, and thanks for reminding me.
