Fermata Auto is a third-party app for Android Auto that enables users to watch RUclips videos and browse web pages while driving. It allows for a more customizable and flexible experience than the default Android Auto interface, which is limited to certain approved apps.

First i made installation om Samsung A33 with Android 14 - not working
Then i tried the same with my old Samsung S10 with Android 12, and it works perfect, i only have tested RUclips and tv channels soo far, no problem 👍

Hi ,i installed a planet audio car stereo after market unit,which dongle adapter I will need for wire wireless car play for after market head units
I see Fermata on my android auto, it tries to open but just keep on circling, nothing happens. I have a Samsung 9S up-to-date software. CarStream works fine. Any advice?
Thank you so much for this video buddy. I just tested Fermata and it seems to work like a charm. I was using Carstream before but there are few problems:
1: Sometimes it's buggy. Videos try to load, and try to load, and try to load. Nothing happens and that can last for long time.
2: Sound problems. Sometimes there's no sound at all. Sometimes a video plays, but plays the sound of a previous video. Sometimes the sync is messed up.
3: Every time I put my car's gear on reverse, the back up camera kicks in, and the video and audio stops. My radio thinks that Android Auto went off, and when I put the car back on drive, the video I was watching is stopped, and must load again.
4: There are ads, but it's not that bad. There are much less than on Carstream, tham on the RUclips app, which is an ad fanatic.
Versus Fermata Auto
I just installed Fermata, and did not spend a lot of time to play with it, but I very quickly noticed huge improvements from Carstream to Fermata:
1: Videos shows in full screen automatically. There's no need to scroll then and touch the 'full screen' square every time.
2: Very cool thing: When the car is in reverse mode with the back up camera on, videos don't stop. We can steal hear the sound. When putting back the car on drive or park mode, video continues to play smoothly.
3: There seems to be many ads just like with the ap, but Farmeta skips them fast.
About other problems, it's too early for me to see them.
Does RUclips still work the same way? Recently they've been cracking down on ad blockers

Fermata Auto was working perfectly on my Samsung s22 ultra throughout android auto. But then, when my phone got updated to 6 UI version, it is not recognised by Android Auto anymore, and therefore, i cannot play music videos in my vehicle as i used to do. Feels frustrating. Tried to install and uninstall many times, but no use. Don't know what to do? Would anyone advise for solution please?

It showed automatically for me! Might have to add the app from your phone on the android auto settings. I have a s23 ultra aswell

In Android Auto settings there no sign of either Car Stream or Fermata being available for connecting to the car
In the video you said that there are some workarounds in the comments but I can't see that this issue has been addressed by you

Not working on my realme
Wouldn't show up on my list of Android Auto apps. Using Pixel 7 Pro, Honda Civic 2022, Motorola MA1 wireless adapter.
Find any fix? I'm on a pixel 7 too
@@Mapachin123 I heard you can enable something in developer options, then it'll work. Haven't had a chance to try it yet though.

@@naifahmad2917 if ur on Android 14 & it doesn't work there is no fix currently.
@@mendellalvarado4285 no tht will get some apps to show up on ur car's screen but they won't work. You'll either get a blank screen w/ no sound or an error message saying "no new messages during this drive" & u wont have any options.
android auto version?
Lot of phones dont work now on Android 14 including mine. Nothing from aaad works anymore. Not 1 app. If the app shows it will say "no new msgs during drive"

@@MrUberKewl Yes it's pretty shady they sell it w/ no warning. I don't blame you. I blame them for not giving any 5ype 8f clue or advisory! There's a couple hundred posts of ppl complaining on the official AAAD GitHub. All complaints or reports have been ignored. Someone posted a DM convo w/ the developer & he acknowledge it doesn't work & they're aware. They state they have no ETA on a fix in the DM currently. Yet they still sell it w/o any mention. Task task tssk.

What about films during driving? And it is possible to log in yt?
You can log-in Fermata Auto's RUclips addon from your phone, then connect to the car. Enjoy.
It did work briefly on my Galaxy S24, but shows no msgs available on this drive . I downloaded Screen2Auto as well, it worked & now no longer shows on AA

I used the same AAAD app to install "CARSTREAM" and it works pretty good besides it being slightly choppy and sometimes it randomly closes out on my android auto device.

None of this works for me. I paid for pro, followed the steps, and it only shows folders- favorites- Playlists- then more, which is nothing. Doesn't look like your screen. I even installed the screen2auto. Nothing

Try this: On your car radio, go to Android Auto, and select Settings. A list a app should appear on your phone. There you can decide which app is showed in Android Auto by checking, and unchecking them. You can also rearrange the order. Make sure Fermata Auto is checked. Once your good, restart your car's radio.

And the answer from the developer of the AAAD application is one that seems to be mocked... like this, "We know the situation and we are dealing with its solution", but without providing any deadline for solving the problem .
