Siphonics are the best. Don't underestimate the suction power they have, and more when they have glazed trapways, so they are really hard to clog. And also, they are more sanitary, because with the suction, they clean the bowl completely.
Washdowns clog on crusted urine, siphonics do their jobs better. Also washdowns tend to get more frequently replaced than siphonics due to them wearing out easier. Stronger flushing systems do their jobs while not clogging on crusted urine. Trust me, siphonics May seem to have small trapways, but they’re easily underestimated. It also depends on the country, but in America and most of Asia, siphonic is your best bet.
Volksjager I apologize for the late response, but I’d go for a siphonic because usually they’re harder to clog up, but don’t get a generic brand. If you’re going to get a toilet, the trap diameter matters, but suction is even more important.
@@davidthehondaenthusiast Thanks for the reply buddy. I just got Tornado Flush with Siphonic effect. The trap shape and size is S-300MM (The one which Toto advertises). I hope this one is okay, but I did not get Toto as it is too expensive. I have also seen dual siphonics, they are great but rimless feature got me sold.

@@V0LKSJAGER your best bet is to go strictly with a single flush siphonic because the dual flush canisters are $80 a piece and washdowns have a terrible suction
@Danny Walsh You say they clog easily? LMAO! Have you ever seen a washdown toilet take 150 feet of toilet paper? Nope. Have you seen and tested as many toilets as I have? Nope. Once again, washdown toilets are an inferior design.
I agree with occ here. Siphonics suck the waste down while washdowns push it down. I have never experienced a washdown but i know that siphonics are amazing so im going with occ on this one
Australia has washdown flush but the pipes and things are much larger. To test they fill a condom full of golfballs. They have the best piping systems probably because the sewer systems are relatively new.
@@tetsianjorin1111 And leave stuff behind and are harder to clean AND leave bad smells more. Washdowns may clog less than siphonics but aren't without their cons either and they fail in every other category, especially in sanitation.
The number & size of the toilet paper balls kept going south faster than a dollars value!
Excellent demo MISTER!

No way - more effective is the washdown. The only type we have here in Sweden. Works like a clock. For decades.
you put half as much in the washdown as you did the siphonic and the siphonic didnt struggle at all
I am a symphonic lover

The siphonic one is definitely better. You clearly put half as much TP in the washdowns.

Siphonic and washdown toilets are common in Asia.
I saw American Standard urinals and siphonic toilets in the Phillipines.

@@whisper_ishere518 I'm going to get myself a washdown (likely one of those Australian Caromas) as soon as I can
Washdowns are hard to clean, mostly because of the trap design.
But it's up to your choice choosing a siphonic or a washdown toilet for your house.
I only have wash down toilets and my downstairs wash down toilet is very powerful
Well. Looking at comments. Time has changed. And so is toilet tech 😂😂
When washdowns clog its hard to unclog it will likely to keep clogging unless you take the waste out

Syphonic
It's up to your choice.
Washdown
Siphonic toilets FTW. Anything without a siphon sucks
washdown toilets clog less

No. Toilets with "syphon jet" system are best.
Which is better siphonic or normal one ?? Life wise ?
Personally I prefer siphonic, it clears the 💩 better.
Washdowns will always be superior in the modern world
