You've written 25 books in 8 years?! Writing multiple books per year would be a great topic for your channel.

Sarra, thank you so much for working through an actual example. That's how I learn best and about 99% of writing video's I've watched may describe these different aspects, but they don't show how to actually do it. While you were filling in the information about Harper, I could see how I would fill it out for my main character. I have K.M. Weiland's book on character arc and she includes a lot of examples, which is so helpful, but seeing you work through it, like their "ghost", made total sense when you talked us through it. Please keep doing that. It's wonderful. so thankful I found your channel.

I'm working on book 4, and my goodness, your plot workbook is a lifesaver. I already do this, but in 5 different notebooks. This is so much more organized. Thank you.

I just filled it out for all of my important characters and it seriously helped me so much. Not only with getting to know them, but also with creating scenes and moving the plot forward to reach a specific goal. I can't thank you enough for this, this is by far the only plotting advice that really helped me plot and not just gave me a structure to figure everything else out on my own. So again, thank you ❤

Sarra-You are such a great speaker! Honestly, I feel like you are actually talking to your viewers. Thank you so much for being so personable, and thank you for this series. You are encouraging and inspiring! I am currently about 37,000 words into my first book. I am going back and doing these worksheets and even though I think I know everything there is to know about my main character (it's from her POV), it is so eye-opening to reflect on individual parts of her. I woke up excited to continue through your series today!!! Again, thanks so much.

As someone who has always been focused on the Sci-Fi and Thriller genres, I tend to look first at the external conflict and challenges. Your very different perspective, focusing much more on the internal, has come as a nice revelation. I can now see how to ramp the intensity of the series that I am developing by working deeper into the characters. Thanks so much for this great series!!

I've never once really... "plotted" my novel, so this is going to be incredibly helpful to me. Already just this section has me thinking about my characters and pacing in a way that I never have. I can't wait to read the books you've recommended as well! And also, thank you for giving us all such a great guideline to follow along with when it comes to our own novel plotting. This is going to be IMMENSELY helpful when I sit down to really brainstorm the re-writing of my first draft. I can't wait to make my characters even stronger and more well-developed individuals. <3

This was a great video, Sarra! I'm familiar with these methods and books but I love--and always need--the reinforcement. And the free sheets are a very helpful tool, for sure. Thank you for helping keeping me on track!

thank you so much :) I've been writing on my first short story (first time writing in general) and I couldn't wrap my head around how my MC should be in terms of characterization. through your video, though, I got some clarity in my brain :D and now, the more I think about his backstory and inner/outer goal, motivation and conflict, the more he is starting to grow on me :) I'm so excited!

I just found your channel yesterday! I have been writing for a long time but struggling for a long time. So I'm really excited to be here. I just got your contemporary romance, The Trouble with Goodbye and look forward to reading it. Compelling characters are my downfall and who wants to read a book without compelling characters! Hope you're having a good day. :)

This video series made me read the whole Shadow Demon Saga over my summer holiday last year, and I totally loved it! ^_^ Your doing such a great job, Sarra, both in writing and in giving advice. I love your stuff, and you inspire me so much. Thank you so much! :-*

I'm just starting this plotting series and already I'm so excited!! I wrote 50k words a few years ago in nanowrimo and they're just sitting there stagnant. I'm going to use that project as the example for this series. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH for doing this!!! The way you explain things makes so much sense in my head! <3
