Remember seeing a Stieger panther at the farm progress show 1983, Michigan Wisconsin as I was on a work exchange on a dairy farm running a Stieger Bearcat
Very cool video! WE passed a farm this past weekend that had a whole line up of restored John Deere tractors including several 20 and 30 series twin cylinder models, a 5020 and a beautiful 7520 4WD. I pulled in and took a look at that one! We later passed a farm with a nice FW-60 sitting there.
Thanks! If I remember correctly the triple Deere was at the Rollag Mn. Steam Threshers when they featured home builts. Brings back memories of plowing with 4wds .
It sure was nice seeing that big old Steiger Tiger in action. I think that is the first time I had seen a Rome tractor in action. That was special. Thank you for all the work you do putting these videos together.
My best friend is close cousins to the owner of the double Oliver and double International trackers that was at the show. They are a super nice easy going farming familyThey are a super nice easy going farming family.
Great Video, and a very grateful thank you to the American Farmer for all they provide US! As we have seen in Netherlands, more and more efforts to undermine farmers with green new scam, and without them, WE DON'T EAT!!!
I was there on Saturday I only wished I was there the whole event it was an awesome get together of major horsepower. My tractors would be the Rome and the 1150 versatile.
That looks like such an awesome show!!! Renners are a class act. Hopefully some day I'll be able to see it in person? Thank you Jason for those of us who couldn't be there.
Didn't know they made a 7020 John Deere. And the number produced was shocking. Just must be in certain areas of the U.S.. Loved the video with all of the Big Tractor videos
It's amazing how much double heading they had for tractors. That was an era where implements outpaced engine development I think. or Higher HP per L was less economic than two engines.
We got to go on the last day and were standing against the trees while all the big tractors came to the end of the row one right after the other. My favorite was probably the 8020 with 3-point hitch plows. I'd love to go back and explore the museum some more! Great video!
@bigtractorpower I was standing right next to you at the end of the last day and didn't even realize. Was hoping to meet you. They had all the big tractors lined up at the end of day and you and @Farmingwithduffyag were all filming. The shots were great and your video is awesome as usual!
What a fantastic show! That Super 830 took a whole lot of thinking to build and it looks like it works beautifully! I will get started on Saturday plowing wheat stubble with a group who invited me to join them a few years ago, I have a 1959 JD 730 diesel wide front row crop and pull a 4-14 JD plow. There will be anywhere from 10 to 15 old tractors plowing of just make and model from JD of every sort including a beautiful 830, Farmalls, COOP, Minneapolis Moline, Case and A/C will all be in attendance I can hardly wait!
@@bigtractorpower That must have been fantastic to ride in that monster and see how it all works together, there are a real pile of controls to get in order for this whole thing to become one! I look very forward to seeing your video about this incredible machine!!
I hope you have more footage of the show...I tried getting out there but couldn’t! The WA-14 & Big Bud sounded the best and Big Bud with blue plow looked the best! I love the look of those BB’s...a real 1960’s muscle tractor look.
I wonder why he didn’t go with Clover White instead of bright yellow for the articulated frame on that Oliver. That would’ve really helped its looks. Those WA-14s are the coolest JD articulated they ever made.
What a great display of horsepower! Wish there would've been some orange Allis-Chalmers tractors in there (440 would fit right in!) Nevertheless it was amazing to see!
@@OldIron2188 hey you’re from Hannibal! I’m from South Central Indiana but Will Bier from Paganok farms is one of my absolute best friends. I was just there October 27th through the 31st and Will and I are both in the background of this video a few times in his roxor
I liked the ROME it was developed by Woods and Copeland on the Katy priaire in Texas. I would like to see a MRS (or) a Cameco from the South Louisiana Cane country.
The 830 Special is ridiculous and cool but the Steiger SM-325 is my favorite of the bunch. Lots of great machines to see though, the Versatiles, Kinze repowers and the Rome.
Hey Jason, can anyone attend the show? If so how much are tickets or admission or however they do it? I grew up on a family farm that went away when my grandfather passed away and seeing a lot of this equipment brings me back to that time. I would love to see it in person!!!
If I hadnt seen the video I would have thought that deere was photo shopped (clickbait ) from that first image just looks insane out of proportion etc lol 👍👌🚜
That JD 830 special looks like something out of a Dr Seuss book!!
I called it Dr Frankenstiens Tractor
I liked the John Deere 830 custom built tri-axle tractor the best👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Impressive demonstration of agriculture technology! It’s clear that these advancements will have a huge impact on the industry

I love the triple 830 and I have a 830 and It does a great job by itself can't imagine 3 together loved the whole video thanks for putting them on
4.18 The passenger in the Rome seemed somehow comunety familiar to me, hey Chris Duffy!
Thanks BTP for sharing this great event!
Chris had a great time at the show.

It's hard to beat that 830 special, no matter what tractor you have.
It is a neat machine. I got to film a ride along in the cab for a future video.

That was a great show!! I was glad to finally see that 830 in person!!
It is a stand out tractor.
I made it over for Thursday and Friday; what a great show.
It was a neat event. Can’t wait for the 2024 show.
I H BROUGHT back fond memories of plowing under corn stalks
My son and I were there got to say high to you (felt like we saw a true celebrity)!
Unbelievable experience tons of great people and equipment!
Rome was my favorite the “star of the show” in my opinion
It was a great show. The Rome is a monster. It was great there was one at the show.
That was a great event. Glad I was able to make it over there. I’m a big fan of the ROME and the 7020. Thanks for the great video.
WA-14 John deere. Back when the big bud genius was building deeres big tractors.
The triple JD 2 Cylinders 👍👍👍
I really liked the John Deere 8020 and the Kinze repowers.
Liked the two 880s paired up.
They are a nice plowing team.
I like the old twin tractors the best I the work that is put in to a project like that great video
Thank you for watching. The twin pairings are neat early 4wds.
The customs are so cool. Seeing that 7020 brought back some memories too.
Some of those tractors are just mind-blowingly loud! Too loud to enjoy. I would feel like a deaf zombie afterward lol
I’m the kid in the pink shirt at about 1:26
Also my favorite had to go to the 8850 Repower
We’re both briefly in the same frame. I’m in the blue Mahindra Roxor

I really wanted to go this year but unfortunately had to miss it. It just an hour drive for me. Next year I'll definitely be there
They do a show every other year
It was a great show. Many thanks to the Renners for hosting. You got some great shots too to document it.
It was a great event. I have a plowing and a corn harvest video on the way.
The WA14 sounded fantastic but I would probably take home the SM-325!
Both cool tractors. The SM325 was extra cool with a Steiger coulter chisel.
@@bigtractorpower Jake F is now looking for a trail- r disk for it. I volunteered to help search
Although I like them all, not any brand can compare or compete with the 747 Big Bud. That machine is twice the tractor most of these could ever be.

So many rare machines working side by side. 👍👍

Rome built some impress tractors.
My favourite was Fiat 180-90 ..great power of 1980s and 90s ..although fiat was not common in North America but It aquired newholland and ford as CNH

that 830 thing with a soundguard cab is talking to me good thing I spent my tractor budget on a Corvette
I wonder why he didn’t go with Clover White instead of bright yellow for the articulated frame on that Oliver. That would’ve really helped its looks. Those WA-14s are the coolest JD articulated they ever made.
It sounded like that back tractor on the 830 special was running slower in a higher gear. Surely this wasn't just for hydraulics.
WA14 AND 802O WHICH was originally 8010 pretty rare wonder how rare my models of them two are
