Arcane dual long swords with bow. Looking forward to new bewitching branch style spells (if they exist) and that light greatsword has me super excited.
Man. I really did not expect the backhand blades to be... strength weapons? Fully thought they would be dex! From what's been listed so far, though, I think I'm most excited to try Great Katanas and Beast Claws. Frost backhand blades are on the table now, too, and I'm always hoping for some neat new axes. I have been desperately waiting for this type of video. Now I am desperately waiting for pt 2 so I can prep for the light great swords. They look insane.
Seems like a good critique. Although just watching, it seems like Martial Arts are going to be tuned more like a Twinblade, with slightly less range. It apeard to have a similar focus on multihits and animation locks, with lower motion values. I'm definitely running straight for that one.
I'm going in with my BFT build. It uses, currently, the nightriders glaive. I'm really interested in adding either the throwing hammer or axe to that build for shiggles.

I think the Scavengers curved sword scales better damage up to 150. After that the bandits scales better than the scavengers. Esspecially with a blood build.
Thanks for the advice, I have try to stay away from previews to any spoilers. Do you know if the DLC weapons can be use in the regular game? And vice versa? Thanks
That's a bit of a silly recommendation if that's what he said, coz you need to do both all of Alexander's & Millicent's quests to get the full benefits of their items. You can kill them both earlier but then you only get half of their talisman's full power.

Nah. NG+ will make it more difficult but your higher level will let you jump into fun builds faster and let you respec without as much hassle. I’m going in on like NG+4 or 5
Hopefully the DLC isn't so ridiculously hard that everyone is relegated to using bloodhounds fang or blasphemous blade just to beat the bosses 😔 I would say the game is perfect up to fire giant then after that they're basically no viable builds for malenia and a couple of the other end game bosses. One thing I always notice in every from soft game is the fact that once you get to the end game you just can't use your fast weapons like katanas anymore.
