As someone worked in airport, I can say baggage handling is quite accurate. :) I also watched something like this in crash investigation videos before, showing what went wrong while plane was on the ground :D
Drae: "Look at the little pilot up there he's all happy!" F/O: "Why are we carrying an extra 7 and a half tons of fuel…?" Capt: "Can you please just get a hustle on, I need a drink"
Drae must work for Southwest Airlines. I see the similarities in luggage care. I once got my suitcase back and found they somehow broke a clipboard in half.
I immediately cringed 5 seconds in when i saw the part of him closing the aircraft door from the outside, if you are ground crew and close/open the door from the outside you are getting fired, i myself have gotten people in trouble as i work in the plane and i was informed a ground crew tried to open the door which ended up with him getting fired. Only people allowed to open/close aircraft doors are: flight crew (with/without passengers) Cabin crew (with/without passengers) Engineers (without passengers) Cleaners (without passengers) Emergency personnel (with/without passengers) As ground crew you walk up the stairs, pull back the bars and ask one of the crew members to close the door, and if they aren't there you wait, and do not enter the aircraft.
I love how that’s drae’s first intention I am just going to walk into the engine like it’s not going to kill me love you make awesome videos like this one keep up the great work
Mate I'm a Fueller at Inverness Airport and I wish fuel went into the aircraft as quick as it did in this vid XD That Fuel must have been rattling off the truck at about 600 litres a second to be that fast. You are also correct the fuel tanks are in the wings on an Airbus like that with a third and reserve tank in the belly of the plane.
Drae, another airport sim player here. You can get a tarp to place over the luggage trolley, it stops all bags from coming off. The game is still in quite a buggy state, it's crashed my game several times and I've experienced the catering truck bug. SPOILER: You can get some interesting achievements by walking near an active engine, placing cones on top the front of the plane and placing a cone in the luggage hold respectively Still, great episode.
4:42 Funny enough there is no DC external power in Airbus aircraft. They have AC only. Also if the external power is applied you don't need to use battery to power the refuelling system. DC is used mainly for smaller aircraft (like turboprops that often have both DC and AC ground power connections). There are some large aircraft that may use DC external power, but those are mainly eastern block planes.
You ground when dealing with anything electrical to prevent static build up frying components, ever taken a TV or monitor out of the box and gotten a static shock? That's because static has built up on your body and you weren't grounded :) it's actually a slim chance anything will get fried by the build up but when the thing that might get fried is worth millions, like a plane, I'd ground it too 😂
I believe the two different GPUs you are looking at are AC and DC. The one you were familiar with is the DC power cart. Usually used for charging batteries. The AC one will power the aircraft systems on the ground. This is the case with modern planes. Not many planes still flying that are DC.
The plane proceeded to have a emergency landing due to pressure loss. Later investigation found that the rear cargo door had not properly been closed. This fact was missed as no one actualy did the Walkaround. Luckily no one was injured.
As a airline employee myself, I'd say you did a great job. You'd definitely be a manager at the airport I work at 😂
Do you work with spirit airlines
@@jaidenshepard19 nope.
That bad huh? Jeez
Which Arline?
@@a_frying_pan69 don't try to get him fired....
7:46 That scream of genuine terror when trying to park the catering truck the first time was hilarious. :D
7:56 "I'd rather be late than dead." should be the motto of this airport.
Meanwhile Spirit airlines has the exact opposite motto. “I’d rather be dead than late.” 😂
@@broodmare25 Ahahahaah:)
If RUclips ever goes down, Drae will be qualified for at least 50 different careers from airport worker to doggy daycare.
And if everything goes downhill he can always just gamble.
@@Cory_Springeror become profesional thief

@@fuelbybeermaybe as a FLM (Flight line marshall) as long he doesn't walk backwards or walks near an engine

And worst job...
The Pilot: So how did everything goes? Drae: Ehmm, good?
Haha.. I busted out laughing at the luggage exploding open when you tossed. Then you threw the can of tuna haha.. that's funny.
I wish they added something like this in MS Flight Sim. Being able to service your aircraft would be awesome!
Totally
Did u not see the new trailer for MS flight Sim? There are missions like this that you can do.
With the ability to leave tins of tuna from pax luggage in the engine intakes
Drae screaming when he was about to hit the plane was the best thing ever 🤣😂
Yes:)
Yes I can't stop 😂

Game: Ok 3.75 in left and 3.75 in right
Drae: You're not listening to me, I said *7.5*
Contingency fuel lol
im always supprised to see anything from the Faroe Islands, were so small and im so happy to see our small airport :)
This is one of my dream games since I was a child other than very good flight sims, please do more of this Drae!!! ❤
Drae must work for Southwest Airlines. I see the similarities in luggage care. I once got my suitcase back and found they somehow broke a clipboard in half.
As an below wing auditor for a major airline, I can honestly say you did a better job than most service providers I’ve worked with 😂😂
Whether it's on Drae's own channel or with IGP, watching Drae always makes my day!
Again you never cease to amaze me by how you break games😂
Yes more of this game please! That was a lot of fun Drae!
"Goodbye everybody, it was nice knowing you!" Me: "Wtf? Get me off this plane!"
Definitely play more of this! Looks surprisingly high quality compared to the games you usually play😂.

I love waking up and seeing a new video
I take a fly to punta cana in two weeks and if the guys put the luggage like you in the plane thats gonna be one of a kind!

Very funny to watch when you lose your mind. And we learn about workers at Airport.
U need the blue tarpaulin to cover the baggage carts to stop them falling out

This was my job for the past 14 years. Cool to see a game made out of it. Glad I dont do it anymore lol
I’ve watched him play many sim games. He has trained and learned so many jobs, I wouldn’t trust him with any of these jobs. But he’s still trying
This is basically the lore of this channel. He gets fired from every job :D
That scream at 7:46 😂😂😂😂
Drae I did this job for 16 years, I need to get this game. Also, you gave me lots of anxiety watching this
Great video and will be picking it up when get paid...
Wonder if you can jump on the wing after it starts moving to take off with it lol
This was so cool!
This needs to be a co-op game.
Thanks for the fun. ^^
Well now we all know whom to blame when our flights get delayed 😂 DRAE
Not even 30 seconds in and Drae is already acting like real airport luggage handlers
Drae really needs to do the tutorial again. He do everything wrong. Even the order to doo it 🤣🤣🤣
I want more of this!!
3 hours for Tutorial? Damn, this is a training module.
It seems the Devs are former Airport employees.

when your flight is delayed. Drae is probably the staff that manage your plane.
19:09 you definitely deserve a ticket after handling that flight on your own
Definitely need some sandbox destruction. 👍
Drae said connecting the trailer was complex....He had to press the F key...Thats it!
This is a really cool game
100% want to see more :D This is fun! Also want to see Warsaw airport in game!
BRAAAAKKKKKES!!!!!!!!!!! drae you had me die laughing so hard with that reaction 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Drae you would be a perfect American luggage handler. But in eu you would be fired in a millisecond
Do you think you'll try out Ships at Sea with your buddies when it releases??
I used to do this irl
Drae, there's no link to go to for your second channel ? Or am I missing something, besides the QR code (I can't scan qr codes, phone issue)
the bag thing at the end is normal. I swear it happens on every plane i been on
so to be clear, You connect GPU, then they start the APU. cant start APU without GPU connected IIRC
More! More! More!
Its funny how we didn't even get to see the plane take off
