    Dry hands outside are the worst, especially once the tips of the fingers begin to split 😬 painful.
    We use hand cream at times to prevent it.
    Nice one Dan 🖖🏕️

    i love a good outdoor cook. good to see you out of the garage. 😂 that is a big salmon! even if he doesn't give you a hand. 😆mr sl doesn't like seafood, so i don't cook it often. camp cooking rank up in my favorite yt videos. , i got so into this one, i had to put you up on the tv to watch (double views for you ❤). i loved the fast chopping sounds. super fun. while salmon isn't my favorite fish this looks darn good, and anything cooked over a fire has got some special magic. 🛴❤
    friendly feedback (hope you don't mind), turn the music down a touch when you're talking, it's at roughly the same level, and makes it a bit hard to hear you instead of being background.

    nice well done mate love robins ialways scrape back a bit of undergrowth for them this time of year gives them a chance of grubbing but i bet they enjoyed the salmon they will take all and any protein and your right our cows would eat a dead rabbit if they found it most things will grab a bit of free protein

    Nice film brother , cold work out there .
    I have a tip for you with your fires for cooking. . In ireland we have very cold damp ground and it takes an eternity to heat the ground with a fire to the point it will A) light or b) cook anything above it . .kinda like your day there.. What we do here is raise the fire off the ground with a layer of stones , they dont have to be big stones , just a layer of stone above the ground .
    The way i see it works is so much of the growing fires energy is being transferred into the ground instead of up into the wood above . . The stones dont take long to start radiating their heat up and the fire is ready for cooking in about an hour .
    If i dont want smoke from a fire i get a pointy rock and put it right in the middle of the fire . .
    You did well to get the rib bones out , lots of patience required.
    I was watching the littlecrobin behind you , he really wanted a bit of salmon .

      @@lifesahobby lol 😂 yea I gave him some but oddly when I went to do the vid yesterday I didn't see a single robin all day . I'll try the stone trick but weirdly theirs very few rocks around those woods ,, have pinch a few from a dry stone wall

      @Bosundanbushcraft I was thinking there is no rock there. . I wonder what else could you use , tree bark or something.

    • @Bosundanbushcraft
      @Bosundanbushcraft  11 дней назад

      @lifesahobby well their are dry stone walls that have been replaced with fences as their in a bad state sure no 1 would notice a few rocks missing
