DESCRIPTION: Many of us recognize that we are living in the midst of a major transformation, a profound drama facing the Earth community with tremendous consequences at stake. The evidence of consistent correlations between planetary alignments and world events, as seen through the lens of archetypal astrology, can provide us with a much-needed context for our time.

I have said this before and I’ll say it again as I think this to be a true estimation of the bandwidth of this man’s extensive intellect and heart, Richard Tarnas is one of the greatest treasures in our Cosmos. I have learned so much from his teachings and his writings. He is beyond brilliant, extremely articulate and incredibly generous with his knowledge and seems to be extraordinarily committed to making the world a better and more well-informed place. Even without understanding the language of astrology (which I do), the message on what is happening now - global transformation in the midst of chaos- and how we can respond with wisdom and compassion with each other, was forceful and beautiful. I have Saturn/Asc/Chiron in opposition to Uranus/Pluto/Moon on the Pisces/Virgo axis. Born Jan 1967 and now I’m an 8th house year deeply feeling all of this world tribulation and collective breathing or breath holding….we need collective Lamaze class!! I had my very first reading last year when I thought I could not possibly go on and felt such a failure. Suicidal to embracing some pride in still standing. I wished I had had astrology all along. 🌟🌟🌟 I just ordered Psyche and Cosmos. I cannot learn enough fast enough. Thank you for your beautiful and gifted language and descriptions Richard Tarnas. Beautiful and uplifting during very difficult times. ❤️ More than anything I loved your admonition to share personal creative gifts in collaboration❤️

Don't be isolated, contribute to the good of the Whole, and breathe deeply. Keep studying - see what calls for ACTION - and learn the lessons well, to act wisely.

I hope it can reach enough people to make a difference - with the Barbarians pounding on our doors. . . I love the addition of astrology even though I don't know from transits. Enjoyed your talk but you said that astrology was nothing to do with electromagnetism and way back in the 1980's I came across a model that explains how our brains are activated by cosmic electromagnetism radiated by the spinning orbiting planets. It isn't a theory, it's a discovery. I am so sorry we disagree over this as I so respect your knowledge. I am not expecting you to change your mind on this. I do have Uranus conjunct Saturn on my MC! Where all your other insights are concerned I am with you all the way.

I was wondering about that. Likely put there by the same person who wrote the introduction with the reminder that we live on stolen land. To that person I suggest they grow up. You want to make a difference? Do something real, donate some time on a reservation, raise awareness for income inequality, etc. The whole "so and so said a bad word" is lame and childish.
