Spend 25 years with someone even when they cheat there are some feelings you cannot throw away. At least dude know he will divorce when she is up and running. That is called being a human being.
How much of an altruistic door mat does a guy have to be in order to be a “real man”? It’s always the same story with these cheating women. They cheat and somehow it’s the guys fault so he’s the one who has to go on a pilgrimage to prove something. She clearly doesn’t respect him anymore but the simp still has feelings so he condemns himself to caring for someone who’d most likely let the dude bleed out somewhere while she’s getting railed on the weight stack.

I would still try my best to make their final days a living hell by, yk, "forgetting" their least favourite foods and serving it to them, "not hearing" them when they need help in the night, openly dating someone new in front of them after the divorce
