Very good insights, Joel! It's great you highlighted key things to consider and gave both countries their merits. Keep it up! Looking forward to more of your adventures!
When you talk about economy to compare by the currency you need to think that Kuwait dinar is equal to more than 3usd so you think they’re economy is better than USA 😂
The point of secondary cities (point 3). You cannot compare Mwanza to Kenya's second largest city which is Mombasa, given that both are the second tier cities. Mombasa by size and infrastructure is way ahead of Mwanza. Kisumu and Mwanza are very similar to each other which would be a fair comparison.
You need to visit Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Dodoma or Zanzibar and judge development of Tanzania. Come in july and try electric trains from Dar to Dodoma. ..Mwanza is huge. It is like visiting mombasa and judging the whole country of Kenya. The currency of Tanzania is kept low for people to afford to live a reasonable life also for other people to purchase things in Tanzania. Just why Kariakoo is more popular business destination in East Africa But also accomodations in Tanzania are cheaper. It depends where you stay.
A good comparison as per the city you visited in TZ. Plan to visit Dar...you can take a bus from Nairobi then spend some few days in Arusha and Moshi after that proceed to Dar...you will surely enjoy. From Dar starting from July you can take an electric train to Dodoma The capital city.
Thanks for being sencere enough to show us all that garbage or little landfil on the street of Kenya. Unfortunately, that kind of thing is very common here in Nigeria as well. I never see any such thing in all the Western countries I lived in, including those I visited. It all comes down to the fact that Africa has very, very low standard. You go to a neighborhood in Nigeria with expensive houses, yet similar hip of trash isn't too far of from their houses, yet everyone go about their business like it's not a big deal.
Love your channel. But as a Tanzanian we always must say “language is not a barrier” in Tanzania. In fact it’s broken barriers. What Black African country do you know of can you speak a native African language from east, west, north, south and learn science, biology and physics to the university level in that language? You don’t go to France expecting to speak Russian to them and then say there is language barrier. In France the president speaks French, the sign posts are in French, the news is in French, the products have French writing on them, when you turn on your phone screen it’s in French. Exactly like Tanzania. When you visit a French village, you expect to speak French, you don’t run around asking who among you French people speaks English?
@@Joel_Mugisha I was too harsh. You are an awesome EAC ambassador. We are from such a beautiful part of Africa. Thank you for encouraging more people who are EAC citizens to take a bus or a plane and see what an amazing chance we have to build a great future.
@@Joel_MugishaYou guys really need to open your minds beyond about that colonial language/english! Your kenyan system chose english and TZ chose Swahili. You Kenyans have been claiming to speak swahili right! So why are you coming in TZ and expect swahili people to speak english while you know they don't!! Since you are a swahili speaker why didn't you speak swahili with them then?. We've seen the whole bunch of Kenyans who work in very developed arabic countries but I never heard them complaining of them not speaking english but you frefer to judge Tanzania for not speaking your master language. Sasa nyie wazungu weusi mbona hamjui hata kufanya usafi on the street!
@@Joel_Mugisha you need but I have to tell you that it's quit huge, actually bigger than Kampala ,and visit there when it's raining coz it can be hot there

Why do I always feel this RUclipsrs base their opinions on common biases irregardless of them being there physically🤔
People have a right to their own opinions even though sometimes it might feel as bias

You are absolutely right brother, it was just a statement of common interest bcz English is a common language of communication worldwide.

This is a great idea
Hello bro, have you visited Mombasa?
Hi, not yet, I need to visit there soon
@@Joel_Mugisha you need but I have to tell you that it's quit huge, actually bigger than Kampala ,and visit there when it's raining coz it can be hot there
Joel, have you visited mombasa?? Please compare Dar & mwanza with Mombasa and kisumu. Your comparison is a mismatch. Sorry to say so.
It's okay you have the right to your opinion. I'll do more comparisons once I visit more cities in both countries
Why haven’t you gone to Dar es salaam and compare it with Nairobi…I think you are very wrong….you are always underating Tanzania….poor poor poor you…
Coming to Dar soon
Kenya is the best for its hospitality. Tzd they don't like foreigners.

Very true...Tz hate foreigners and you'll be treated poorly once they realize this
