Doc. This was so informative , from the US ,Elaine Brown, and BPP everything black gets attacked until it is approved and can be capitalized by the caucasian. but the ending took me out. “ i have a hard voice” I think them folks watching you Doc
In the debate with John Henrik Clarke and Cornel West, Dr. Clarke had some interesting information about Karenga I'd never heard before. Needless to say, he wasn't to impressed with him. Overall his holiday seems to be with good intention and still has endured.
It only fair for me to defend myself here in this video for clarity. Firstly, I wasn't one of the ones challeging Dr Maat on this issue, the live appeared on my notifications and I clicked on to see what it was about as I've heard stories from elders in the US who've talked on this matter. Also here in the UK, we're 5 hrs ahead of you guys in the US so it was like nearly 2am UK time when I was asked to join the live, which I was too tired for physically. My position on the matter is clear, Kwanzaa was created for the purpose of African Americans at the time having a holiday/celebration that they could Identify with as African people. I'm fine with that and have no qualms with that whatsoever, as that was the main goal of Kwanzaa and it's growing in numbers across the diaspora now (44m ppl celebrate it globally now and it coming to it's 60th year of creation soon) The part where I was being objective (rightly so) was in terms of the history surrounding Ron Karenga and his alleged involvement in the deaths of Bunchie Carter and John Higgins. Having looked into this myself and heard from elders such as Judge Joe Brown, Dhoruba Bin Wahad, Dr Clarke, Dr Ben and literature written outthere, it's safe to say there's too much smoke without fire to say that Ron Karenga didn't have some dealings with the FBI. I'll post some of the links for videos/pdf's which are sources as to why there's such anomosity towards Ron Karenga from people affiliated with the BPP, Bunchie Carter, John Higgins or the women who were victims of the kidnapping/torturing. I know Dr Clarke was not fond of him, neither was Dr Ben hence why he left ASCAC over Karenga as he wouldn't forgive him for torturing women. archive.org/details/the-glass-house-tapes Book by Lewis Tackwood, who was a former LAPD informant who states in the book that Ron Karenga was working alongside the LAPD (Read it for yourself and make your own judgement) ruclips.net/video/8Qj8Q1coL1s/видео.htmlsi=kHMmPMOCm1Xry3my This is taped telephone conversation by Tackwood and LAPD Sergeant Lawrence Brown. I know I wrote alot but I thought it only fair to give as much as a I can in regards to this matter so there's no confusion and I don't get drawn in with people like Ms Pearl (don't get me started on thay brudda, he was awful😒🤦🏿♂️). So overall, yes we should keep celebrating Kwanzaa 100% as it's an AFRICAN celebration, same time we have cause to pause when it comes to Karenga and his alleged involvement in those deaths given the evidence I just shown, too much smoke without fire. I wasn't coming with any smoke, was just contributing to the conversation but here's the evidence/sources I got for people to have a look and make up their own minds. Look forward to more content like this going forward and if there comes a day you want me to come on the platform and discuss/debate anything, I'll be more than willing too Dr Maat 🖤
KWANZAA CAN STAY. KARENGA CAN NOT! THERE IS TOO MUCH HISTORY OF HIM DISRUPTING BLACK ORGANIZATIONS. WHETHER IT WAS FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT OR SELF-AGGRANDIZEMENT IS IRRELEVANT. ALL CAN BE FORGIVEN BUT HISTORY CAN NOT BE ERASED. ASE 😎🖤🙏🏾
The statement you provided refers to Dr. Maulana Karenga (born Ron Karenga), a prominent figure in African-American history who created Kwanzaa, a week-long celebration of African heritage and culture, in 1966. The phrase suggests a distinction between the cultural value of Kwanzaa and the controversies surrounding Karenga’s personal history and actions. Historical Context and Controversies 1. Creation of Kwanzaa: • Karenga founded Kwanzaa as a cultural holiday to celebrate African-American heritage, emphasizing principles like unity, self-determination, and collective work. The holiday is widely regarded as a significant cultural contribution. 2. Accusations of Disrupting Black Organizations: • In the 1960s, Karenga led the organization US Organization, based in Los Angeles. It was a Black nationalist group with a focus on cultural and political empowerment. • Conflict with the Black Panther Party: The US Organization had well-documented clashes with the Black Panther Party, often violent. Some activists accused Karenga of being involved in efforts to divide Black organizations, either for his own advancement or under external influence. • Some have speculated that his actions may have inadvertently or intentionally benefited government programs like COINTELPRO, the FBI’s covert campaign to undermine Black liberation movements. However, there is no direct evidence proving Karenga’s collaboration with COINTELPRO. 3. Conviction for Criminal Acts: • In 1971, Karenga was convicted of felonious assault and false imprisonment involving two women, allegedly members of the US Organization. He served time in prison and was paroled in 1975. These accusations and his conviction added to the controversy surrounding him. 4. Tensions in the 1980s and Beyond: • After his release, Karenga transitioned to academia, earning advanced degrees and teaching Africana studies. However, some activists and organizations remained critical of his earlier actions and their impact on Black liberation movements. 5. Reputation Among Activists: • Karenga’s critics argue that his leadership style was authoritarian and divisive, fostering rivalries that weakened Black organizations. • Supporters maintain that his contributions to Black cultural awareness, particularly Kwanzaa, should be recognized separately from his political history. 6. Lingering Rumors of Government Collaboration: • Some activists continue to speculate about Karenga’s possible connections to COINTELPRO or other entities seeking to undermine Black unity. However, much of this remains speculative and lacks direct evidence. Conclusion The controversies surrounding Maulana Karenga highlight a complex legacy. While Kwanzaa has become a cherished celebration of African-American culture, his personal and political history has left a lasting impression, particularly among those who view his actions as disruptive to Black unity during critical moments in history. The sentiment in your statement reflects this duality, celebrating Kwanzaa while questioning Karenga’s motives and actions.
Praise & Thanks.

Mr. Clarke doesn't believe in sub- race thinking... He's a collective thinker... That's a completely different type of understanding...
