And we are getting a new Tron film starring Jared Leto, and I immediately wish we didn't get a new Tron sequel because of that casting choice. He's not a bad actor, he's just not the right person to pick.

Apparently 40 minutes is the minimum time required by the American and British film institute for something to be classed as a 'movie'. If there's only 33 minutes, or around about, of original material in here, then this is technically not really a movie at all.

Kate: This is a family vacation. Me: Then where are Lily and Garth, they are your family too. Also if they wanted to make a romance for one of the kids then why do they keep them still kids instead of actually making them grow older like they did with the other couples in the story.
You know, these movies kind of remind me of all the Ice Age sequels. The first movie was decent enough, nothing groundbreaking, but a fun, harmless kids movie with some humor for adults thrown in. The second movie, Ice Age: The Meltdown, wasn't quite as good, but still seemed consistent enough with the first so that it felt like a proper sequel. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is where it starts getting questionable, what with dinosaurs STILL BEING ALIVE SOMEHOW in the Ice Age. But being made for kids, it's harmless enough. (Also, kind of weird imagining Manny and Ellie boinking in between movies. Can you imagine Ray Ramano and Queen Latifah going at it? *shudder*) And Ice Age: Continental Drift is surely the worst one, but at least it has a few funny moments and is creative enough to be entertaining for kids. Also, credit to Blue Sky, they actually AGED Manny and Ellie's daughter, Peaches into a teenager in the movie, unlike Alpha and Omega where apparently all of Canada is stuck in a time loop. And another thing. Like I said earlier, these movies feel at least somewhat consistent with their origin. A drop in quality occured, yes, but not from lack of caring or effort, just from taking an idea too far and running out of material for it. But to be fair, they mostly DO have plenty of material for it in the Ice Age sequels. At least the animation gets better instead of worse. At least the movies become slightly implausible due to creativity and fun rather than lazy writing and plot inconsistencies. At least the characters are all unique and have different personalities that are allowed to be fleshed out over multiple films so they're not as dull as a lined paper sandwich on white bread. Give me any of the Ice Age sequels before the Alpha and Omega sequels. Heck, I'd rather take the OGRE BABIES from the System sequels than Stinky, Claudette and Runt any day!
I'm a HUGE fan of the first Ice Age, but I have mix feelings on the sequels. Ice Age: I loved the first one, in fact, it's my favorite movie of all times next with Jim Carrey's The Grinch and Wreck-It Ralph. The story is both familiar and new at the same time. The animation does look disgusting, but better than this. The characters are funny, well-developed, memorable, and likeable. And the humor is one of the best comedies i've seen yet. Ice Age 2: I really don't want to bring that movie up. I got a TON of people hating me because I say it's HORRIBLE. The story is unoriginal, predictable, full of plot holes, and the humor is just unfunny. I hate both the new and (sadly) old characters. There under-developed, pointless, stupid and sadly THE BABY NEVER RETURN!!!! The only thing that is improved from the first film is the animation. It looks beautiful and cartoony, and fits very for the Ice Age movies. And I'll admit that the ending is a heartwarming ending. Ice Age 3: This was an improvement from the second but FAR from being as good as the first film. The writing is mostly complicated, but still creative. Not to mention that Buck was one of my favorite characters in the movie. And FINALLY!!!! AN ANIMATED MOVIE WITH NO TALKING DINOSAURS!!!!!! And (gulp) Ice Age 4: Ever since I first saw the movie, I named that film THE WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN. The story is lazy, that is just rehashing the second Ice Age, and a mess. The animation is beautiful, but nothing new. The characters are all annoying, stupid, forgettable, one-dimensional, and stereotypes of stereotypes. It's not funny or touching. And you feel like your soul draining. To end this, I adore the first film. The third one was okay. But the second and fourth should deserve to be burned in the pits of hell

The point that you made about having the alpha in the front and the omega in the back and the pups in the middle-aged was really a very good logical point.
so true for not feeding wild animals. it may not sound like it but feeding wild animals is cruel it would lure them away from their natural environment also you get go to jail for feeding wild animals or keeping them as pets. If this movie was honest the librarian would be frightened and call wild animal control because a bunch of wolves are on her property
A relative of mine once had a wolf on her property, she just very carefully stepped outside, kept her distance behind a tall fence, and shooed it off. They're shy animals, and she knew from the local news that it was a healthy young animal willing to move along and stop sceptically eyeing her little terrier who wanted to pick a fight.
Actually the old lady feeding them makes sense. I use to live next to a old lady (had to be around 95??) and I could only assume her eyes were 'going' and she was suffering a light case of alzheimer's because she'd routinely leave out dogfood and/or table scraps for 'T-bone'. The real T-bone was a bulldog who I was told died years ago, the entire time she was feeding possums. With that said. That part of the movie was the only non-cringey part.
Okay, I wanna see a movie with THAT old lady! lol No, THIS old lady was completely aware that these were wolves and a BEAR that she was feeding. Ugh...
Bobsheaux Lmao! xD I would love a movie where the Alzheimer's lady befriends wolves accidentally by giving them food (thinking their her long dead dogs of course) and then the zombie apocalypse happens. But the old lady is protected by her wolfy friends she's been feeding this entire time, and so they accompany her on a journey to find a refugee camp - and omg I need to got to bed its 2AM and I'm becoming delusional.
If you review the future films in this franchise, I DEMAND YOU BRING OUT THE WOLF PUPPET AGAIN! ... What? It was adorable, sue me! It made the review all the more enjoyable and I felt it didn't out stay it's welcome.

You know what I wonder: If the porcupines from Sawtooth are here, then where on earth is Daria? For that matter, where on earth are Winston, Tony, Garth, or Lilly? Are we supposed to assume that they were trapped and are awaiting to be skinned for their furs? That's dark.
This movie really makes me think. By that I mean, how did the first Alpha and Omega movie become popular to spawn all of these cheap sequels? I could probably understand it if the film became something of a cult classic to some people (just so you know, I've never seen the first movie, nor do I intend to, so I don't know if it's good or not), and if it was left at that, that would be fine. But why are there so many sequels?! I know it's because the people behind these films are just using this as a cash cow, but really? Alpha and Omega? Did this film need more so many sequels? How man people even saw the first movie, much less remember it in the first place? I mean, the film came out in 2010, which saw the releases of such animated films as How To Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, Tangled, and Toy Story 3, the latter of which was, y'know, the first animated film to gross over one billion dollars in the worldwide box office! With all of those classics, who even remembers Alpha and Omega? I know I wouldn't have, if it hadn't been for your videos Bob. The last thing I have to say is, when thinking about The Land Before Time and its many unnecessary sequels, at least the first film is recognized as a great movie, so I can at least see it having more of an audience. Of course standalone, that film worked well on it's own and didn't need the further videos it got but people simply liked those guys and wanted more of it.
So the reason you took so long to get to this episode was because you were finding a way to get turned into a werewolf/learning Animagus magic. Alrighty then.
*WARNING This is not to be taken seriously* It seems that with every sequel the wolves are becoming more and more intelligent. 1. The wolves are learning more about human culture with each sequel. Wolves going on a family vacation, having knowledge about bible stories, being able to somewhat communicate with humans through miming 2. Marcel and Paddy are marking vehicles to track them. 3. Stinky could very well become a skilled strategist of an Alpha when...sorry IF he grows up, Going so far as to wanting to merge the wolf pack and bear clan. Which I agree with Bob, is a bad idea...but I'm sure Stinky will figure that out sooner or later. Also their lifespans seem to be getting longer which might explain why none of the pups have aged much They also seem to be getting faster and more agile and flexible, being able to climb trees, keep up with speeding trucks, and to go so far as to dance on their hind legs for an extended period of time. Sure dogs can do that too, but Humphrey takes it a step further by hopping on one leg to another without losing his balance, My theory? The wolves will continue to get smarter and evolve. Eventually a decade or two pass, Stinky is full-grown and is now the Alpha of the pack, the wolves have learned more about the human race eventually learning to read and some even write. The humans are at each others throats and World war 3 is a possibility. But the humans are also working on a medical breakthrough which spillage of the first prototype which occurred anywhere starting before the first movie to just before the second movie and may have been the cause for the wolve's intelligence. The project was shut down for being potentially dangerous to humans. Years pass and the humans have rebooted the program in hopes of curing (insert disease here)with the possibility of it having the same results and being deadly to humans. Stinky begins to plan the demise of the human race by ether by manipulating the humans into starting world war 3 and wiping themselves off the face off the planet at the risk getting wiped out themselves or by going Rise of the Planet of The Apes and using the failed cure to increase wolf intelligence all over north america and Eurasia and wipe the humans out with it.(all of this done with the help of Paddy and Marcel's tracking.) 5 Years pass and the humans are on the verge of extinction, Wolves have learned to use human tools and weaponry, they have also learned to walk on two legs without falling over. Stinky has a megapack of 10000 wolves and launches an assault against the 250 survivors only 30 are armed and know how to use a gun. The wolves win, using Lily's Turtle Formation (based of of the Roman Tortoise Formation), using bullet proof materials as shields they successfully lay siege to the camp eventually forcing the humans to surrender. Any humans surviving are imprisoned and any humans who are willing must live under Wolf rule. They do the same to all remaining human settlements within the span of 3-5 years. Stinky is remembered as a hero to all wolf-kind and all remaining humans are ether imprisoned or servants to the wolves. 300 years have passed since Stinky formed the First Wolf Empire, the humans are all but extinct and wolves have taken on an anthropomorphic look. Stinky is seen as a God, Lily is portrayed as a Goddess of War and Turtles due to her help in wiping out the humans. Stinky's descendant is leading the Empire into a glorious future with wolves as the dominant species. I went way to far into this...
It's almost like each movie gets worse to make the original look better by comparison.

Also if they wanted to make a romance for one of the kids then why do they keep them still kids instead of actually making them grow older like they did with the other couples in the story.
You know, these movies kind of remind me of all the Ice Age sequels.
The first movie was decent enough, nothing groundbreaking, but a fun, harmless kids movie with some humor for adults thrown in.
The second movie, Ice Age: The Meltdown, wasn't quite as good, but still seemed consistent enough with the first so that it felt like a proper sequel.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is where it starts getting questionable, what with dinosaurs STILL BEING ALIVE SOMEHOW in the Ice Age. But being made for kids, it's harmless enough. (Also, kind of weird imagining Manny and Ellie boinking in between movies. Can you imagine Ray Ramano and Queen Latifah going at it? *shudder*)
And Ice Age: Continental Drift is surely the worst one, but at least it has a few funny moments and is creative enough to be entertaining for kids. Also, credit to Blue Sky, they actually AGED Manny and Ellie's daughter, Peaches into a teenager in the movie, unlike Alpha and Omega where apparently all of Canada is stuck in a time loop.
And another thing. Like I said earlier, these movies feel at least somewhat consistent with their origin. A drop in quality occured, yes, but not from lack of caring or effort, just from taking an idea too far and running out of material for it. But to be fair, they mostly DO have plenty of material for it in the Ice Age sequels.
At least the animation gets better instead of worse.
At least the movies become slightly implausible due to creativity and fun rather than lazy writing and plot inconsistencies.
At least the characters are all unique and have different personalities that are allowed to be fleshed out over multiple films so they're not as dull as a lined paper sandwich on white bread.
Give me any of the Ice Age sequels before the Alpha and Omega sequels.
Heck, I'd rather take the OGRE BABIES from the System sequels than Stinky, Claudette and Runt any day!
I'm a HUGE fan of the first Ice Age, but I have mix feelings on the sequels.
Ice Age: I loved the first one, in fact, it's my favorite movie of all times next with Jim Carrey's The Grinch and Wreck-It Ralph. The story is both familiar and new at the same time. The animation does look disgusting, but better than this. The characters are funny, well-developed, memorable, and likeable. And the humor is one of the best comedies i've seen yet.
Ice Age 2: I really don't want to bring that movie up. I got a TON of people hating me because I say it's HORRIBLE. The story is unoriginal, predictable, full of plot holes, and the humor is just unfunny. I hate both the new and (sadly) old characters. There under-developed, pointless, stupid and sadly THE BABY NEVER RETURN!!!! The only thing that is improved from the first film is the animation. It looks beautiful and cartoony, and fits very for the Ice Age movies. And I'll admit that the ending is a heartwarming ending.
Ice Age 3: This was an improvement from the second but FAR from being as good as the first film. The writing is mostly complicated, but still creative. Not to mention that Buck was one of my favorite characters in the movie. And FINALLY!!!! AN ANIMATED MOVIE WITH NO TALKING DINOSAURS!!!!!!
And (gulp) Ice Age 4: Ever since I first saw the movie, I named that film THE WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN. The story is lazy, that is just rehashing the second Ice Age, and a mess. The animation is beautiful, but nothing new. The characters are all annoying, stupid, forgettable, one-dimensional, and stereotypes of stereotypes. It's not funny or touching. And you feel like your soul draining.
To end this, I adore the first film. The third one was okay. But the second and fourth should deserve to be burned in the pits of hell

so true for not feeding wild animals. it may not sound like it but feeding wild animals is cruel it would lure them away from their natural environment also you get go to jail for feeding wild animals or keeping them as pets. If this movie was honest the librarian would be frightened and call wild animal control because a bunch of wolves are on her property
A relative of mine once had a wolf on her property, she just very carefully stepped outside, kept her distance behind a tall fence, and shooed it off. They're shy animals, and she knew from the local news that it was a healthy young animal willing to move along and stop sceptically eyeing her little terrier who wanted to pick a fight.
Not to mention, human food is just unhealthy for animals in a lot of cases.

Actually the old lady feeding them makes sense.
I use to live next to a old lady (had to be around 95??) and I could only assume her eyes were 'going' and she was suffering a light case of alzheimer's because she'd routinely leave out dogfood and/or table scraps for 'T-bone'. The real T-bone was a bulldog who I was told died years ago, the entire time she was feeding possums.
With that said.
That part of the movie was the only non-cringey part.

Er, but she knew they were wild animals. She tried to KILL Brent when he approached her by shooting him between the eyes. Not kidding.

These movies are making me start to hate wolves. I have to play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Okami just to restore my liking of them... not that those 2 games are bad, mind you, but I shouldn't need to play a video game to restore my liking of one of my favorite animals.
The movies didn't make me dislike wolves (I always liked them), rather, it made me hate cliches (female lead becoming bland after having kids, defiant children, parents powerless to stop them, dumb dad, etc)

You know what I wonder: If the porcupines from Sawtooth are here, then where on earth is Daria? For that matter, where on earth are Winston, Tony, Garth, or Lilly? Are we supposed to assume that they were trapped and are awaiting to be skinned for their furs? That's dark.
They were smart enough to avoid humiliating themselves, so they all denied appearing in the sequels.

This movie really makes me think. By that I mean, how did the first Alpha and Omega movie become popular to spawn all of these cheap sequels? I could probably understand it if the film became something of a cult classic to some people (just so you know, I've never seen the first movie, nor do I intend to, so I don't know if it's good or not), and if it was left at that, that would be fine. But why are there so many sequels?! I know it's because the people behind these films are just using this as a cash cow, but really? Alpha and Omega? Did this film need more so many sequels? How man people even saw the first movie, much less remember it in the first place? I mean, the film came out in 2010, which saw the releases of such animated films as How To Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me, Tangled, and Toy Story 3, the latter of which was, y'know, the first animated film to gross over one billion dollars in the worldwide box office! With all of those classics, who even remembers Alpha and Omega? I know I wouldn't have, if it hadn't been for your videos Bob.
The last thing I have to say is, when thinking about The Land Before Time and its many unnecessary sequels, at least the first film is recognized as a great movie, so I can at least see it having more of an audience. But with Alpha and Omega, well, I already said what I thought about it, so I'll leave it at that.

That is true. You can go back to that first "Land Before Time" film and it all clicks. Of course standalone, that film worked well on it's own and didn't need the further videos it got but people simply liked those guys and wanted more of it.

It seems that with every sequel the wolves are becoming more and more intelligent.
1. The wolves are learning more about human culture with each sequel. Wolves going on a family vacation, having knowledge about bible stories, being able to somewhat communicate with humans through miming
2. Marcel and Paddy are marking vehicles to track them.
3. Stinky could very well become a skilled strategist of an Alpha when...sorry IF he grows up, Going so far as to wanting to merge the wolf pack and bear clan. Which I agree with Bob, is a bad idea...but I'm sure Stinky will figure that out sooner or later.
Also their lifespans seem to be getting longer which might explain why none of the pups have aged much
They also seem to be getting faster and more agile and flexible, being able to climb trees, keep up with speeding trucks, and to go so far as to dance on their hind legs for an extended period of time. Sure dogs can do that too, but Humphrey takes it a step further by hopping on one leg to another without losing his balance,
My theory? The wolves will continue to get smarter and evolve. Eventually a decade or two pass, Stinky is full-grown and is now the Alpha of the pack, the wolves have learned more about the human race eventually learning to read and some even write. The humans are at each others throats and World war 3 is a possibility. But the humans are also working on a medical breakthrough which spillage of the first prototype which occurred anywhere starting before the first movie to just before the second movie and may have been the cause for the wolve's intelligence. The project was shut down for being potentially dangerous to humans. Years pass and the humans have rebooted the program in hopes of curing (insert disease here)with the possibility of it having the same results and being deadly to humans. Stinky begins to plan the demise of the human race by ether by manipulating the humans into starting world war 3 and wiping themselves off the face off the planet at the risk getting wiped out themselves or by going Rise of the Planet of The Apes and using the failed cure to increase wolf intelligence all over north america and Eurasia and wipe the humans out with it.(all of this done with the help of Paddy and Marcel's tracking.) 5 Years pass and the humans are on the verge of extinction, Wolves have learned to use human tools and weaponry, they have also learned to walk on two legs without falling over. Stinky has a megapack of 10000 wolves and launches an assault against the 250 survivors only 30 are armed and know how to use a gun.
The wolves win, using Lily's Turtle Formation (based of of the Roman Tortoise Formation), using bullet proof materials as shields they successfully lay siege to the camp eventually forcing the humans to surrender. Any humans surviving are imprisoned and any humans who are willing must live under Wolf rule. They do the same to all remaining human settlements within the span of 3-5 years. Stinky is remembered as a hero to all wolf-kind and all remaining humans are ether imprisoned or servants to the wolves. 300 years have passed since Stinky formed the First Wolf Empire, the humans are all but extinct and wolves have taken on an anthropomorphic look. Stinky is seen as a God, Lily is portrayed as a Goddess of War and Turtles due to her help in wiping out the humans. Stinky's descendant is leading the Empire into a glorious future with wolves as the dominant species.
