You can play with the bread in game, there's re-skins of weapons that are bread. Bread boxing gloves, throwable bread in a jar that has the bread monster gnawing on the target's face when it makes contact, there's even a bread based sapper that I think eats machines. And for a while when this trailer was going on, various types of bread popped out of the teleporters with the players.
In the Fedora Chronicles by The Winglet, Pyro is frequently shown with the small bread monster, treating it like a pet...Plus, in the Expiration Date video, the end of that shows Pyro running around trying to catch it.
Since I'm no good with graphics or animations, I would still suspect that the SFM Workshop might have the model & animations (made by the fan base, no doubt) for it.
Bread still comes out of teleporters sometimes.
Soldier has a higher chance to spawn bread than every other class.

I got a some more recommendations. The Heavy is Dead video, it was a meme a while back. There's also a video called the Most Fashionable Faction, a good music video showcasing the cosmetics of TF2. There's also smexual TF2 videos that's just perfect for tiktok, but it predates tiktok. And a couple of really weird RUclips animators would be Eltorro64rus and STBlackST, wthe main subjects of their videos is weird enough, but they add weird stuff in the background too.

Either you ease into it by starting with Meet The Amazing Team by Piemations, then start dipping your toes in meme territory with STBlackST and Eltorro64Rus before jumping full meme with Doctor Lalve's Guide series (I recommend the All Guide Truffle Shuffle, it's the full compilation), Delak's craziness (most notable are Demo Mesa and Heavy Is Dead), and ceno0's POOTIS ENGAGE
Or you jump straight into full meme territory with no intro.
