to try out traditional Croatian food you should visit restaurants with a name that starts with "Konoba" as it means it serves traditional food like "Pašticada" , "Peka" (try the octopus one) or "Black rissotto"
Some of the small ones we walked past had sand beds only and no room for towels, so even if the beach is "public" there's no room for people to lay down towels so you'd have to pay for the sand bed in order to stay there. This was the case for a few very small beaches east of the Old Town (for example, Mistral Beach Bar & Club).
@@thetraveling3 people who have a concession to rent sunbeds on the beach should set up the sunbeds only when someone rents them. that's what the Croatian law says. I am glad that you visited my city, Imotski. I hope you enjoyed it.
We are budget travelers, so for us €50 for only 3 people with no leftovers is a lot. We only ate out that one time, the rest of the time we cooked at home.

We simply shared our experience. Coming from the Seattle area and having traveled for the last 6 months, we did not expect the prices to be so high even in Old Town.
Amazing video , keep it up 😃🙌👏
Thank you! 🙏 We're so glad you enjoyed it! 😊

That is very sad to hear. Thankfully we did not have that experience. We are always careful to be respectful of locals and the places we visit 🫶
