Are the Four Beasts described in Daniel the same thing as the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?
Daniel 7 is a prophetic view into the kingdoms of humanity from the time of Daniel until the last days. It mirrors the interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream on chapter 2 of the book of Daniel. Why is this so? Notice the statue had four kingdoms on Chapter 2, and four beasts on chapter 7. Also every beast shares a key characteristic with one of the areas of the giant statue of chapter 2, notice verse 31 to 35: * “The head of that statue was made of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay… Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver and the gold were crushed [fn]all at the same time and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away so that not a trac
