If you like the video, make sure to smash that like button! Every bit helps! Also, let us know below of any drummers you want to see that have tours coming up!!
Great videos...do you have any more of these drum cam versions besides Wolf Am I?
@@cleverestx It’s just those two videos I believe!
"A band is only as good as its drummer" I read somewhere. Well, Rickie's style is a part of what makes mewithoutYou great and unique.
I thinks that's pretty true, look at Zep, The Who, Avenged (nowhere near the talent of the previous 2, but they lost their most valuable member as well). A solid drummer is worth his weight in gold.
Stay away from dope and booze kids!!!!!! It killed all 3.
I saw that on a Pixies video. Makes sense. This is spectacular
So sick. Miss them alot
Love it, Ricky has always had a big influence on me. Thanks for this!
Me too
I love watching him play.
So sad that they are calling it quits. He's one of my favorite drummers ever
His enthusiasm is contagious
I dig this. I dig this a lot!
Goosebumps.
Richard is always so great to watch, thanks for posting!
I've loved his drumming for almost 20 years.
Where is the whole show???
underrated af drummer
Never saw a technique like this.
Looks weird to me, but interesting style, he also puts fills in places where normally arent any
Great sound 👌
Wow so tight!
Damn that some sweet sounding tunes!
the chops at the end is so sweet
Get it Bert
Is there more footage like this of him playing? This is outstanding
Seeing them tomorrow live.🙂
How was it?
They were great! I wish they headlined though i thought they were.
Yes sick
Dont see alot of drummers holding the sticks upside down. I would imagine it adds alittle more punch without having to over work your muscles?
Creative drummer for sure, it why hold the sticks backwards?!
Power and volume.
Yes yes this is the shittt👌👍👌👍👌👍👌👊👊👊👊
Anyone know his setup?
C&C drums: 22 inch bass drum, 12 and 16 inch toms, and a 14 inch snare. He's since added a 10 inch tom as well.
He used meinl cymbals for a long time, but has since switched to Zildjian. In this video it's all meinl byzanze. 19 inch traditional medium thin crash, 21 inch traditional medium ride, and 14 inch dark hi hats.
With zildjian he now uses 14 inch k custom dry hi hats, 22 inch k medium dark ride, 21 inch k sweet ride, and 21 inch k crash/ride.
It's taken a lot of research to figure this all out over the years, since he doesn't do interviews often. So I figured I'd pass it along!
Any idea what show this was from?
It was in Atlanta when they were on tour with Say Anything in 2016.
@@drummersanonymous lol. Was just thinking that this looked very familiar and that he must have done this same sort of at every performance for this tour. Turns out I was just there at this shoot
Why not just by the stick that has the but end on both sides instead of playing sticks upside down?
Eric Povish Not sure, but I believe he plays softer songs with the sticks in the “normal” position and flips them on harder songs. Maybe easier just to do for him than switching sticks between songs. But that’s just my guess.
this band is snored so is the drummer.
Nah.
