Great video - very helpful! I just got a VM... played it for about 3 days before one of the saddles slipped down and left me with a buzzing B string. Evidently the grub screws on either side of each saddle were no longer doing the job. I tightened them up but don't expect it will last. Now if I could do something about that floppy whammy bar...
It's a handsome guitar in it's way but apart from the occasional hankering for a jazzmaster I have never been drawn to the off-set waist Fenders. I think my problem is rooted in the fact that I don't really love any player who uses 'em
Well besides the fact that I could just never wrap my head around the shape of that guitar as being attractive to me and all of the slide switches which are problematic type switches to begin with and now what you're telling me about this bridge problem I'm really happy I have stayed away from that style guitar
Their certainly not for everyone. You left out the fact that they are also short scale which adds to the confusion. The neck on this one is great even if it's to short!
Cool and helpful demo. I will follow all your advice. Also I love your accent. Keep up the great work!

I think that I prefer the Jazzmaster over the Jaguar.
@@justinrayguitars6024 for the shim, is it 1 degree full-pocket shim or 0.5?
@@iwaann_ it will depend on the action you have. Each guitar can be a little different. You have to keep trying until you get it where you want it.
