You've saved me a lot of money in dye lol. Simply using the color wheel to get the orange, green, purple etc by the dyes combining is much easier than mixing the colors unless you specifically need those colors on their own 🤦♀️. Thank you for making my life a bit less complicated and still just as colorful!! 🤣 🤣 I absolutely love your work!
I do not think I will ever look at a tie dyed shirt again and think simply that it is very pretty... thanks to the RUclips algorithm gods for dropping this channel into my suggestions. Your shirts are simply beautiful and I appreciate the skill involved in making them so.
Gotta say that all of your works are absolutely stunning! I do have a question or two please! What is the soda ash for, what does it do to the fabric? Keeps the color in? Please help ❤
I teach high school art and I had my Art 1 and Art 2 scholars use sharpies to tie dye canvas shoes.... We were hybrid this year due to covid, so the majority of my kiddos were at home. I gave them the option to tie dye garments (I was thinking with sharpie because those are readily available at drug stores etc... Some of my kids went all out and did actual real tie dye shirts and reverse tie dye. I was so touched and proud of them. I felt guilty that I hadn't ever made a real tie dye shirt before and ended up with all kinds of ideas and thinking about having our art club take shirt orders as a fund raiser (I don't know if we will really make any money on it, but I think it would be fun for those kids to do! I'm hooked. I have 8 white shirts, 2 dresses and scrunchies, masks, apron and purse soaking in soda ash right now. I have color t -shirts 2 black 2 red 2 light blue (turquoise) & 2 purple to tackle reverse tie dye. (My husband will get half of them) Wearable one of a kind art! You are terrific! I've watched several of your videos and have subscribed! I just need to find an inexpensive way to dye and buy string, rubber bands will end up flying across the room since I have the younger high school scholars, they are impulsive which can be awesome, and can be not so awesome. I've got a lot to learn still but I think I have found great videos for any distance scholars I may have next year. Thank you for being so generous to share your art and craftwork. I Love this!.
I did a fund raiser with disabled adults making and selling tie dye shirts...I wrote a letter to a dye company on our agency letterhead and explained the proceeds would fund bowling outings for the group, and they donated enough dye kits for 100 shirts. I got a local Walmart to donate the t-shirts , rubberbands, and dish pans, and a medical supply company donated disposable gloves. We got a local reporter to cover our efforts, highlighting the generosity of our donors, and photograph the group making the shirts and interview our members. It was a huge success on many levels. We wrote a group thank you card to the donors and included photos of the dyeing event and the first bowling event.
If you wanted to use synthrapol to keep the colors in the shirt longer you would wash the shirt in a water/synthrapol solution before you rinse out all the color?
Why do you use chopsticks/skewers as the initial pleat support rather than just another rubber band? I'm assuming there is a beneficial reason for this but was curious as to what it is? Thanks!!!
Some amazing and unique designs, I want one!! With your tutorials and the generosity to pass on the knowledge (most important) I can now attempt to make an assimilation... I have not seen this technique before, very simple when demonstrated. Thank You! for showing and sharing your excellent work, I will check out if I can buy one. Andrew ☺
I love all ypur creations. Could I please ask you SOME advice? Can I use fabrick paint that has been diluted with water as my dye? And I saw you foulding a shirt. Seems like you are putting the one sleeve into the other sleeve. Please please. I have so many white T's that need's to get pimped.
After I let the t shirts soak in the ash wash do I allow them to dry before I start the folds? Or I can start once they are done soaking. And you are so DOPEEEEEEE. I'm an artist myself and this will a new adventure for me. I'm excited anxious to try.
@@justclea007 Howd it turn out?? I’d love to hear your experience, hits/misses, advice! Im waiting to start mine til I can find someone else that’s attempted it lol Im convinced I’ll screw this up lol
@@thomasinajefferson9971 it turned out okay not as perfect as his. Because of my dye and I notice some parts I missed thr fold. Now I need know I need to add more dye. But over all it takes patience and practice
Those colors are so vivid and that design is freaking awesome

Uhg, I wish you shipped to the United States D: These are so amazing.
I’m going to show this to my kids so they know how to truly tie-dye, if they wish to follow the hippie lifestyle ✌🏻
Very neat. One of the clearest videos I’ve seen and the end result.. Thank you

Will you do a ripple tutorial please?! These are so amazing you are SO talented!
Same as this one on the video, but instead of doing straight lines, you do wavy onesss 🤤😍
As I’ve said before, amazing talent. Also, may I just say, love the tats and ankle jewelry.
I think this is one of my favorites.

In one of the answers here, he said, it's not really necessary you can use rubber band..

Very cool!! I'll have to try that. I'd definitely wear it.
My daughter and just started.. I got to say you make it look easy. I hope we can get to that level one day
I’ve mastered the tie but not the placement of the dye I have a heavy hand I’ll keep practising thanks for sharing✌️
So amazing that I had to try it myself. Awesome work man.
This guy is a legend
So beautiful
I don’t understand why people would down vote this??? Love your work. Really awesome designs
When you draw the zig zags you kept looking on the opposite side. What are you looking for and what are you doing?
Good question. "Color Placement", to avoid color overlapping. ✌️😁
Thank you for this. I cannot wait to try it.
Do you have a dye recommendation? one that doesn't fade too much?
Where do you get your materials from? I don’t want to keep getting these one time use kits.
very cool. I am going to try doing this pattern tonight with emerald blue, crimson red, tangerine, and blue jean blue (for the zig zag lines).
Did you try it out? If so, how did it go?
Did it work?
Why did you put a smaller circle? Was it just t ogive you a better stencil?
Psychedelic!
Is there a trick or something....u have magical fingers I have tried and cannot fold like that omg
Increible!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏🙌🙌 que pintura o tinta usas?
Do you need the sticks or would rubber bands work in place of them

WOW!!! Amazing!!!❤❤❤
What brand of dye you use? Thanks
I agree! You are the 👑! Love your work! What is ash soda? I'm going to try to make me one!!!
From what I've been able to find out, it helps the fiber absorb the dye better.
Dope great work
Stunning!
this shirt hurts my brain. (I totally want one!)
Pretty amazing.
Is it fine to just rinse it outside on the floor? Is the dye harmless to the environment?
Just wondering :) Looks great anyway!
Nice job! Where do you order your hem tags please?
Cool😍😍😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌👌
why didn't you mention WHAT COLORS YOU ARE USING? You advertise that they are LSD fiber reactive dyes, but what COLORS???
Beautiful. You are a tie-dyeing demi God. May your dye be seen on a t unstrung. Peace and God bless.

Where do you get the needle applicators?
Do you make your own reactive dye?
Yeah, I have my own, although I use Dharma also for special colors.
