Diverted British Airways landing in Boston after fumes in the cabin

Landing in Boston after a flight that basically went nowhere but a long, tiring wait in Boston.
For those who don’t know, BA292 on July 7th was diverted to Boston en route from Washington Dulles to London Heathrow. There was some smoke smell, and without any information, turned around over Canada and flew 2 hours over St Johns to Boston.
