    If Chris Nolan directed a movie with a Joss Whedon script I think the universe would blow up. And I would be OK with that. I mean first we'd have to see the movie. But if the universe exploded after it made $800 million, that would be OK with me.

    Chris Nolan seems to get what so many other filmmakers don't. Movies in and of themselves start out with one monolithic hurdle, they are entirely visual artifice, a series of sequentially projected frames that when properly displayed open a window into a sort of cinematic reality. It's Nolan's insistence on incorporating the greatest amount of live-action material possible, regardless of cost or effort, that temper his films with a level of believability that is fast vanishing from cinema.

  • @RudySpino
    @RudySpino 13 лет назад +1

    They say you can't judge people by their appearance... but I think Christopher Nolan may be an exception to that rule... look at the hair on his forehead, its in the shape of the bat symbol...

  • @javierchaconm

    Joss Whedon is a great screenwriter but come on, Nolan also writes and his screenplays make Whedon's look like they where written by a 8 year old.
    So, the right formula still is: Chris Nolan directing + Chris Nolan writing = Epicness.

  • @EclosionProductions

    @ThinkumDinkum ....not really......there are much better villains that would make a much smarter, yet thrilling conclusion......have you even seen this video though? They talk about everything here. Bane is in it. Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) is in it. Lately, there were some rumors that Hugo Strange might be in it....but no confirmation.

    There are other great directors as well!
    But NOLAN's real greatness to me isn't that he's made great films! Well thats a great achievement!
    But few other directors like Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, Daren Aronofsky, Ridley Scott & few others & to an extant Steven Spielberg & James Cameron are great artistic directors as well!
    While Spielberg & Cameron have great commercial sense, & they are great director but they do compromise art at times for commercial aspects as Pro
