In this video, I will be unboxing the Aimpoint Duty RDS 2 MOA, one of the ultimate red dot sights replacing the Riton x3 ard. I’ll provide a thorough review of the Aimpoint, mount it on my AR-15, and demonstrate its functions, including how it co-witnesses with the iron sights. One of the benefits of having a blacked out front cap is being able to use it to prevent the dot from washing out when blasting your weapon light. You can keep the dot at a lower setting, close the cap, blast your light in a dark house, and still see your dot perfectly!

The front cap is completely black not honeycomb so you can’t see nothing through. The optic already has low light setting for night vision.

Yeah completely black cap is what I mean. You have to be target focused with both eyes open for it to work like I described.
