Had to record this in a few short stints due to a lot of study related work and other RealLife™ (nice graphics, boring gameplay) stuff - tried to edit it as good as i could. Commencing work on a new American Dream episode (and vote!) as soon as I can. Hope you all have a great week so far!
Infrastructurist Are you going to continue this serie? It is the end of June and you still didn't upload a 4th episode. Also I like your serie until now, I like how this is taking shape. I only hope you do not quit it like Theine, and make it feel unfinished. Anyway, good series and I wish you good luck🤗!
Really beautiful city thus far. Also like the editing and music. One minor thing, that parking lot under the grand station is extremely unrealistic. It doesn’t make any sense and space in that region is way to precious. I’ve traveled to many European cities by train and none have a large parking lot. You have other public transport options, most of the time directly integrated in the station, like the metro in Cologne and you have a few dozen taxis outside waiting but no cars of inhabitants.
Felix Tessel I live in London and I can confirm - you never see those American style parking lots in high density areas; it’s only in department stores where you see them but those are far outside of the city itself. I also agree the city looks amazing in general though.
Really love the episodes, I just want to point out that each time you make a new flower bed you always add a tree to it, which is unnecessary and repetitive. You can have flowers without trees. I know its being a bit particular but most flowering plants would need direct sunlight (not partial sun) anyway.
Wow. Your city building skills and creative imagination have an extremely high quality as result. A joy to watch this. A pity i cannot even cone close to this result myself.. Thanks for sharing!
On my trip to the Netherlands I saw that there are a looot of buildings conected direcly to the wather. Just like your high rise complex, it's imposible no to love your building style
love it! If you turn off collisions in road anarchy, you can replace roads without destroying the props/buildings/etc around them (so you dont have to move the buildings all the time)
Glad to see you're back in action. Everything looks awesome- especially those waterfront complexes. People don't take enough advantage of using sunken roads to create nice quays like that. You're pretty much on Neguchi level now :P
You van take some insperation from Google Maps when building soviet hoods because they very often have a very thought out layout with parks greenery and schools
I'm afraid to say that I'm not a huge fan of the main station's surroundings. What you built looks like the planning and architecture from the time of the 1950's (housing blocks) to the 1970's (standalone mass produced residential high-rises, large office buildings) however, the station itself is late post modern. In RL, the station is surrounded by the very contemporary Europacity which looks very different from what you've built and is imo more fitting to the stations design. Another larger contemporary example of cityplanning and architecture in Germany is the HafenCity in Hamburg. While I'm not a huge fan of that style, I prefer it over the planning of the mid-century modernism. Could you maybe take inspiration from those to built a better fitting environment for the very modern station? Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of your work!
I’ve only just discovered cities: Skylines. i think your city is amazing. Do you have a name for it? Only question is, is there a feature for underground parking ramps? Or multi storey car parks? but, fantastic effort 👍🏽
Question (it’s coming I promise), from lack of surface parking even when doing these sort of high/medium density stuff I’m guessing you have pocket cars enabled. In my experience, pocket cars can cause really horrific traffic problems, particularly at common destinations such as transit hubs (I think the pathing code, understandably, doesn’t factor in traffic or doesn’t very well). How do you deal with that? Maybe you don’t and aren’t bothered by it, but it’s something I’ve always struggled with when trying to build realistic cities (parking designation underneath high density buildings would be amazing).
You actually have more surface parking than I thought. I hate street parking so I disable it far too much haha. Still, any advice would be awesome. Love your vids btw
Goosebumps But how do you get the search tab and all them houses? Is there any mod that I need cuz I only have the normal vanilla pack without any mods. Help me pls
Hmm what am I going to do today. Ah I know waste 15 hours of my life on something that won’t affect my life in the long run. Anyway cool build man it looks amazing
Flashy That would be nice. Now that avanya has made the stone tiles that are in Gothenburg. But sadly there's not too much assets on the workshop for that.

Infrastructurist glad to see you're doing better, love this city you're building!

More, please! I have learned so much from this series! I hope you will return for a part IV

I would like to see you tackle Eastern European city, the ones that spends it's time from 1945 until 1990s behind the Iron Curtain
ultramanJR +1
ultramanJR good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the walkways around the big waterfront buildings. Cool idea!
Oh God the music and editing. I'm living for it. ❤️❤️

I so like these residential buildings half-built on water... That's so neat. I would like to have apartments in such placement
Nice to see you try out some waterfront techniques. Infra's back!
This is not a game anymore.
This is fcking Art!
This is what i want to see!
This is what i love!
Thank you!

Thanks for your job! It’s great!
Imagine waking up every morning in an apartment that's literally IN THE WATER.

Very very good as usual bro!

I love mid-century modern design. I do get the point that it is a much more modern train station but that is how cities are built IRL.
I'd like to continue watching this series. Are you releasing any other episode?
Bravo! **clap**
Yes this city is comeback
How are you able to make transport lines with the map not all white like that?
Lmao I just noticed how the channel profile picture is lieutenant Aldo Raine from Inglorious Basterds
Amazing

We want BORIS BIKES in the city
Just gonna ask, how do you activate both european and default style service buildings in the game? (Vanilla)
Set the European style on in the content manager
Goosebumps
But how do you get the search tab and all them houses?
Is there any mod that I need cuz I only have the normal vanilla pack without any mods.
Help me pls

How is that train station called?
P.S. great work! ❤
By the looks of it, the RealLife™ version is Berlin Main Station. That's how you can find it in the workshop.
Thomas Wolf Thanks
Please build Gothenburg!

Where are you now?
Under the sea?
Can someone help me, what's the mod on the left side of the magnifying glass (Find it)
Surface Painter
Advanced Vehicle Options (AVO)
Como tiene esa calidad, acaso es un mod o algo??? Que alguien me diga el mod si lo es.
Cool!!!!!
Where can I find the train station?
This is a joke, right? Watch all 3 episode's again.
Come back to crescent tho
G E R M A N T R A I N S
German Main Station. ;)
@Infranstructurist this is a European city, so why are there cars driving on the right side?
Because in the most European city's they drive at the right side. In the Uk they drive diffferent
You’re not finished with the American dream are you??
yurop))))
