The M60A1 AOS is the tank I crewed in the late 70s. We had add on smoke grenades welded to the turret when I was in Germany. A lot of good memories. Going up hill I’d tell the driver I was going to get out and walk so he can pick me when he gets up to the top.
I love seeing military vehicles out in the wild. There's a F-86H by at a park near where i live and i enjoy going to look at it every now and then.
there was a cottage on my way to highschool that had an M18 Hellcat in high garage; you could see the barrel and turret sticking out above the wall (it's the UK so you can legally own and drive one on the roads with modified tracks). Always a highlight of my morning.

the APDS on this thing has fantastic angle pen and better damage than heat. I generally use APDS and using heat only for heavy armor at range.
Yeah, the angle pen is great. I really only use the HEAT on Soviet heavies.
Awesome picture? Maybe try and hit up one of the tank museums or aircraft museums that might make an interesting video.
There is an M60 by my grandparents house in Wisconsin. My pfp is actually that tank.
There is a truck stop near me in grand Island that has one posted outside by the road.. there is also a museum in Lexington Ne that has a Sherman and several other tanks and armored cars in it's collection

Track richochets happen to me ally time, even with darts.
Construction place I think it was in my neighborhood had an M4 Sherman, pretty sure it was a 75mm though given how short the barrel was could have been a 105mm just chilling with a sign against it. Unfortunately they got rid of it at some point but given how long it'd been left to the elements would have been a steal of a price maybe if I'd had a place to store it. More so if there were a way to make it street legal - nothing says 'street safe' like several tons of solid metal that a car probably won't even dent.
one of my more fav tanks in the US Med line next to the Sherman. still wanna see the non Stab M60A1 in the TT like the premium italian M60A1. got that a while back and i love it and at a lower br because of no stab is nice.
The M60A1 Rise is my fav m60! The ERA on it looks sick as hell and you get apfsds :)

Do not discount the APDS round on this tank. It is a good round. Though maybe you play the sweaty RB battles. I only play AB.

It's not very good, so you're not missing out. Though it's nice to have something to strive for. You can get to an M60 relatively quick if you start the Israeli tree, though your crews will suck.

@@bren2385no it's not I've never been killed by the cupola, only lost my commander to heavy autocannons a couple times through it
@@Jatzki It's only a big weakspot when you face things with APHE, which is only the Russians at the BR the AOS is at. Below that the normal M60 can be penned by a long 88 anywhere on the turret anyway, so situations where only your cupola is visible and the only weakspot are rare.
@@Eonymia exactly it has the potential to be a devastating weakspot but in practice it doesn't really affect your gameplay, because everything can pen you anyway.
