He would never put up 50 playing with Matthews, hes a pure goal scorer. Mcdavid on the other hand makes everyone around him better, being a playmaker. which is why he wasnt a good fit for the leafs.
I agree, not to take anything away from Hyman, he's played very well. With that being said, I've watched him score at least 15 tap in goals that the average beer league player could have scored lol. I like Hyman, great character guy, plays hard every night, but, will be interesting to see if he could replicate this success not being on a line with McJesus
Zack Kassian is a perfect example of a guy who had so many looks with Connor and never scored more than like 15. McDavid demands a lot from his linemates. He thinks and plays the game in such a way that it is so hard for most to keep up, how Zach has fit in on Connors line has been crazy.
