“Monuments” in Stone - The First Photographs of The American Southwest (1870’s) Geological Anomalies

- Today we will look through some of the very first photographs ever taken of the American Southwest, dated to the 1870’s, with our photographer being John K. Hillers. These images are attributed to the first intricate survey of the Southwest. What’s remarkable, besides the vast detail of each image, is the title of each image.
We will be looking at what are considered to be the “monuments” of Ancient America, and these specific sites played a large importance to the indigenous people of the Southwest. These are some of the finest and earliest photographs of the massive Rock Formations of America that I have ever seen.

Amazing that places like canyons and rock formations are called monuments. It really makes you think.
You can see the striations of actual stone work, blocks that have been weathered away. Some of these "Mountains/Cliff Faces look to be ancient man-made structures. The Black and white show such a disparate contrast that your eye is not lead astray by color or surroundings. This is some very compelling evidence. Great Work!
It's not enough that all your videos are visually astounding Jarid. You have one of the most unique narrator voices of any RUclipsr the world over. My papa had so many strokes that he lost his ability to speak. But he still loved to tell stories. I could only make out a handful of words, like "Jaunie" was "John," my dad. The phrase "oh yeah," meant he just told me something profound that had to be backed up by a qualifying statement. I didn't understand 90%of what he would say to me, but I know it meant the ENTIRE WORLD to him, so I listened.
My papa (dad's dad) and all our ancestors going back to Connecticut in 1640s, and farther back to William Bradford, have been the epitome of American pioneers. My 2nd and 3rd papa's were some of the first white men in Wyoming, the Dakotas, and Oregon territory, and B.C. before Lewis or Clark had their umbilical cords cut. I have a 2nd great grama who was Blackfoot. But all I have for word of mouth, family stories, are what I can fill in from my papa's broken words like "hosie" for horse, or "dig" and "boom." I just found out, 30 years after he died, he was the explosives master at Howe Copper Mine in Chelan, WA.
Thank you so much Jarid, for keeping alive such a dynamic and fascinating part of our history that would be all but forgotten for want of story tellers. Some day, your grandkids will be telling a whole new Era of youngsters what the "ancient wild west America" was like, because they had Papa Jarid's magnum opus on RUclips to remember it by. And Papa Jarid talks the way that real cowboys talked, before industry took over the frontier.

The camera tech he was using was further advanced than most at that time, really good quality photos.
At 6:58 there is a tree laying on it's side looking to me to be exactly the same as the rock formations shown around it. I have come to the conclusion that almost all mountains are the remains of "Giant Ancient Petrified Silicone Based Trees" and not man made buildings. There are remains of "Giant Man Made Structures" but they are mostly found in Turkey, the Middle East and Eastern countries.

Is it not more likely to actually be a tree? On the far right hand side of the same image there is a dead tree, still standing, but with dried, bleached & cracked boughs, of a size in proportion to the horizontal object in the foreground.

I see abandoned super large scale mining operations. The scale of this mining is bigger than anything we could accomplish today. The machines must have been enormous.
Think bigger: Grand Canyon. Also, you will NEVER look at Volcanoes the same again when you realize what they really are.

Many ancient structures were blown apart or melted like plasma melted. Massive destruction hit many ancient sites like Egypt, Petra, Puma punku etc.,

Navajo church is now known as Church Rock and it is near Pyramid Peak. They are 2 really cool hiking trails. The southwest is an amazing place to explore!

The way you show the photos is fun, interesting and fantastic. Could you sometimes zoom back out of the picture revealing the entire photo. Sometimes, like the waterfall early in the video isn’t shown completely. Thank you either way.
As a Geologist, my opinion on all the rock formations viewed in these slides are built by nature (except of course, the obvious ones that are not). Mother nature, erosion, weather, earthquakes, volcanoes, wind, water , when combined create works of art that many times are better than anything mankind could create. Its truly remarkable at what nature is capable of doing if you study Geology for many years. Man is capable of creating things that are comparable to nature and in some cases outdoing nature. It is short sighted to make strong opinions on rock formations without the proper education, that you then hand off to society with an agenda or bias or spin that you want your viewers to agree with. I am not saying that is what you are doing, but just be careful not to. Also, in my opinion, I do believe there are ancient civilizations of man greater than 10,000BC - which I base on the megaliths in europe, asia, and south America, as well as the sites like Gobekli Tepe and the evidence of catastropes such as the little ice age and Burkle Crater.

For an empty USA as depicted in the 1814 map of the 1806 Lewis & Clarke expedition to become filled with towns, railroads, ports, canals, bridges, drainage and infrastructure as in the 1875 map, in less than 70 years, given the technology & population available, either:
1. There were many more skilled workers available than believed.
2. The structures are considerably older than believed.
3. The builders had access to skills and technology unknown to us.
4. The builders were assisted by God/angels/demons/extra-terrestrials/non-extra terrestrials/magic/unknown forces.
5. The structures literally emerged out of the ground already built as a result of the 'Tesla Global Information Field', as postulated by Dr Claudia Albers.
6. Reality is plastic & we are being played/manipulated/teased/toyed with, as in the films 'The Matrix' and 'The Langoliers'.

Another fine presentation. My Great Uncle was taking photos in Arizona some 30 years after this, but his interest was documenting the Native population he encountered, not the scenery. Alas, his photographic skills were quite amateurish. It’s breathtaking to see the scenery of Arizona photographed so skillfully here.

As already said most of this is mining operations from a previous civilization. But there are also a lot of old world buildings in Utah inbedded in rock. The buildings could have been schorched and that melted the buildings , making them look like they were built into rock/mountains

3:52 in center -There appears to be one of those stone "nubs" on the rockface (pointing leftwards). You know... the ones that have been discovered many all the megaliths in this realm (whose purpose folks have speculated)

Comparing the recent research being done on the limestone & granite folds along Grand Canyon that likely occurred during & immediately after Noah's Flood. Many natural caves & overhangs formed that would make shelters.
These photos look like they were on large glass plates with a low ASA (1-10) so the details would be controlled by the quality of the lenses.

What would it be like if we had a type of tech or ancient vision that formed a movie from the beginning to the end of a scene, a region... watching the old world buildings rise up then become the ruins of today?

Petrified shards of giant trees (and other vegetation) trees that reached 60, 100 miles high. Silicon era trees. ..perhaps with man’s touch and reclaiming and MINING over centuries yes.
Tough to tell as plasma and electricity can produce some forms that appear as if they could have been man made, but there are definite examples of what were clearly man (or gods) made structures that have been very badly eroded and damaged.
Fairly sure at 4:30 minute mark where Chihuahua providence is shown, the forefront and foreground, shows half of the city covered in mud, there are no vegetation. No trees.
Foreground as well, the three men, sitting in what seem to be dried out lake bed.
There is a talk on about Mudflood etc, but I find no connection between the Mudflood and Tartary, for there are no Greco-Roman type buildings to be found in Siberia, except everywhere else.
Edit: If you searched Antiquities in America, you will see the evidence for this.

@1:50 I bet those photographers were 'spoken to' and threatened to keep the narrative straight. On the left of the shot at the top it is evident that there were windows & doorways. @7:43 he must be taking pictures in the evening or early morning. If you enlarge the picture you can see stars in the sky.

Nice ancient giant trees! They were cut down just before the flood so the giants could not escape it. After the flood they turned in to stone by petrification and lithification. If you look closely you can see this extra (weird looking) layer of sediment that cemented together like a outer shell around the remnants of the tree stumps. Because it was covered with a sediment layer and was under water and under pressure with no oxygen. This way the inside changes by permineralization all the organic materials of the tree are replaced with silicate minerals usally a quartz while maintaining the tree stump original structure. It is a 3 dimensional representation of the original. It basicly turned in to stone when the waters of the flood returned. But if people dont believe in Jesus Christ.. they will not be able to see the truth (blinded by the light). Their eyes are closed to the truth! That is because if you not follow Jesus Christ then there is only one other taste left and that is Satan.
