Spending “ Quality time “ with your Dad ……”Priceless” My pops is going to be turning 95 in one month on May 18th , and while he & I never did a run like this one , we did plenty of Desert trips out in Areas such as Glamis & Gordon’s wells & Buttercup dunes with all the family and friends that could make those trips with us . My old 1974 Chenowth Corvair powered dune buggy with kids seat in rear took my Dad & I & my 2 daughters on many memorable excursions. I wasn’t fortunate enough to be able to document them in video format at the times ( over 20 years ago almost now) , but we have shoe boxes full of pictures to re-live those days gone-bye. Enjoy Every precious moment , and give your old man a hug from me , as he’s a true trooper like mine still is. I’m 64 now , and while not getting out as much as I used to to camp & explore , my retirement in 11 months should hopefully change all that for the better , and if I can convince the “ Old Man” to come along we might have one or two more adventures in him. Stay safe guys , and Thanks for posting this series so far …😎👍
This was the most challenging trail yet. I loved seeing the contrast of snow and pine trees, then desert and cactus in the same day. Your videography is amazing. Thoroughly enjoying your off road adventure! ❤
This area was our 4th day. We did it in the reverse direction. We stayed and started in Wickiup and was by far my favorite day. The views, the challenging trail, the spurs and going from desert floor up into pine forests. I’m just glad we didn’t meet any oncoming traffic on that narrow cliffside trail! We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Kingman. Love the coverage!
Have did the trail twice, both directions. Can't wait to put together next group. First trip was a can- am mav x3 turbo r CT RACEWORK build. Next trip was Speed El Jefe # 35. Clean runs both machines, not even a flat or belt. Will be leaving Lake Havasu in late March. Will not be a trip for the faint of heart. Four two hundred mile days is my goal.
Wow, this is another awesome video. Your videography is amazing, I really like the recording of the mic conversations that you have. I haven't really seen that with other channels.
Very cool trail that I am looking forward into running and camping on. Thank you for posting the coordinates of the finds, although I am sure that the landmarks can be found on my maps app.
Thanks for the video. I’m watching cause I’m considering doing the peace trail this March. Been invited to go along with some guys who are on side by sides I ride an adventure motorcycle and was wondering your thoughts on motorcycles in this route. Did you see many bikes along the way. I consider myself an intermediate rider with lots of off road riding (BDRs And Baja several times). Plus how bad or deep does the sand get. I have done quite a bit of off road stuff in southern AZ and New Mexico
There were other offroad dualsport motorcycles on the trail. If you are an experienced offroad motorcycle rider, you should be fine. Some of the days might be long in the saddle compared to a side by side though. Have fun on the trail. It's an experience of a lifetime.
This is awesome, I been following, what a great time this must have been. I love it! What tires are you guys running? I also have an X3 but the Max 4 seater.
We are both riding on M1 Evil tires. They were recommended from a power sport company in Parker and now that we have some solid miles on them, they proved to be absolute best for this terrain and we'll never go back to anything else. Even after the peace trail we still have 3/4" tread left. I think they'll easily see 5,000 miles.
@@OffroadDestinations Great thanks, I been wanting some better tires over the stock ones. I been scared to go too far out on these stock tires, I got a slash in one of my stock ones first time out. I really enjoy your videos so please keep them coming.
I just can’t get over those “wild” goldfish! They are such a novelty in an environment that is so hot in the summer. They’ve adapted and are so unique. I’ll always remember this oddity in your Arizona Peace Trail adventure!!
