I take it that the CD supports the cut-off disc from bending and flying to pieces. I've broken a few even 9" ones so long as your face ain't in the firing line when it breaks and hold on to the machine you'll be sweet.

He didn't connect the dishwasher drain line at all. It was the ither corrugated tubing that tied in just above the p-trap. It could have been a condensate line or something like that. Either one would be bad but the condensate line would be really bad. The p trap was also omitted. One or both of the basket strainers will have issues because of the placement of the union. After the nut is loose there will not be any play to separate the pipe. What happens if you do make it move? It's hard piped in every direction.

I take it that the CD supports the cut-off disc from bending and flying to pieces. I've broken a few even 9" ones so long as your face ain't in the firing line when it breaks and hold on to the machine you'll be sweet.

He didn't connect the dishwasher drain line at all. It was the ither corrugated tubing that tied in just above the p-trap. It could have been a condensate line or something like that. Either one would be bad but the condensate line would be really bad.
The p trap was also omitted.
One or both of the basket strainers will have issues because of the placement of the union. After the nut is loose there will not be any play to separate the pipe. What happens if you do make it move? It's hard piped in every direction.
I couldn't watch it after the first minute.

Wenn du den Siphon unter deiner Spüle suchen möchtest, schaue einfach direkt unterhalb des Abflusses. Du solltest ein Rohr sehen, das in einem Bogen verläuft. Das ist höchstwahrscheinlich das Siphon.

@@tipsunknow Was ein Siphon ist weiß ich, durch mein Beruf.☺️Es ging um das Video. An der alten Ablaufgarnitur war ein Siphon. Nach dem Umbau leider nicht mehr. Das ist ein gravierender Fehler..Weiterhin gibt es auch keinen Anschluss für den Überlauf der Spüle ???

@@tipsunknow No, not good at all, even if the original was crap too. I understand it's an emergency and that proper fittings aren't available, but you need a siphon. One of the consequences of not having one is that the sewage smell will enter the room. The main reason is that it is unsanitary not to have one. Proper modern siphons will also have a detachable lid at the bottom so over time you can collect debris that otherwise would have gone to the pipes and cause problems, like clogging.
