Here is my Review Video of what I say is most definitely one of the most stunning railway lines in the whole of Europe. It's the Belfast to Derry/Londonderry Line in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom 🇬🇧. I'm susprised that I seem to be the first person on RUclips (expect maybe Geoff Marshall of course) who has make a video on this line. Running along the edge of a beautiful coastline with a glorious looking beach ⛱ and the stunning Cliff underneath the Missenden Temple. Let me know if you would like to travel on this line or if you already done so. Thanks for Watching!
The train also has a portable ramp incase any wheelchair users didn't know. I took my mum on this train in 2021 and the conductor was most helpful getting her on and off the train.
Have been taking the train up and down every couple months to attend events in Belfast, definitely have to agree that it's a really beautiful train line.
The Wi-Fi on NI Railways trains has to be connected to and then your device should take you to a sort of confirmation screen where you must agree to the terms of the usage and whatnot before you can get internet access
It took me to the confirmation screen! The problem was that the train line was the lack of internet connection in the area. Mobile Data didn't work either.
Hi I noticed ur holding ur phone vertically while recording. Could u tell wat type of phone it is. I have been looking a phone that can record 16.9 vid while in 9.16 position. Thanks
For Train travel in Northern Ireland, do you recommend buying tickets beforehand or the day of the trip? I don’t want the trains that I want tickets for to sellout. I want to take the 7:10 AM train from Great Victoria Street to Derry-Londonderry. If my parents and I buy tickets for the train when we get to Great Victoria, do we risk not being able to get on the 7:10 train because it could be sold out? Same thing for the return trip to Belfast from Derry-Londonderry. Do trains usually sellout seats? Also, are there assigned seats or do you sit wherever.
Well, Northern Ireland Railway doesn't have any seat assignment. It's fully open seating, and you can wherever, so purchasing them beforehand, while you can do this is you want, doesn't affect your seating priority. You can easily purchase your tickets on the day, either from the station ticket counters on from the conductor once onboard the train. While the trains don't sell out, they can at times be quite busy, so I recommend getting onboard at the start of the trains journey to ensure you get a good seat.
Hi, I want to ask a question. Why can't I find Derry train station on the Irish rail website? The site does not propose it to me to be able to select it. Thank you .
HI there Lorenzo. I believe I know the answer why it does not appear. It's because Derry is in Northern Ireland and NOT the Republic. Irish Rail does not sell tickets that start or end in Northern Ireland. To book tickets you need to visit the Translink Website. In fact here's a link www.translink.co.uk

The only Northern Irish stations that Irish Rail will sell ticket to is those served by the Enterprise between Dublin and Belfast
