Really nice guys. USAF vet here. I was a crew chief on the C-141B (Desert Shield / Desert Storm) and C-130 E/H in the late 80s - mid 90s. I will be honest in that I was a little surprised that you guys weren't familiar with some of the aircraft that Col Egan has flown. I knew every aircraft he mentioned and can identify them. You guys need to study up! :) To be fair, I have been a plane junkie since I was a kid, so all I did was study aircraft. I come from the era before all of this online stuff and have hundreds of books about aircraft. Those were my internet growing up....books and magazines about airplanes! Anyway, just busting your chops! Enjoy your podcasts! Keep up the good work guys!
I would also like you to add other military branches to your podcats. I like what they are doing. A constructive criticism; why do so few people know about aircraft? Being a foreigner and looking at him from the outside, every word and description he said of the aforementioned aircraft, could give me an idea of what they were ... I would have to study the profile of his guest for when they sit down to interview him, have a little more knowledge and the talk is more enriching. They also make the guest feel more comfortable and confident with their interlocutors and let go more in the interviews. Greetings from Buenos Aires.
Naval Aviation is the pinnacle of strike fighting and the pearl of the military. Col Egan is a sore loser that he had to fly for the air force instead of with real warriors and he takes it out on our movie. #flynavy
